Their latest ban is on countries that were formerly part of Soviet Union, just like Ukraine, but later joined NATO yet Russia has been coexisting in peace with them and doing business.

It's Ukraine that wanted to join NATO but NATO didn't approve of that they invaded using that as an excuse.

Russia is just one bloody and troublesome country without little scruples.
