What on earth would make a girl pour acid on her lover’s manhood? If you discover that your partner is cheating on you why not quit the relationship and move on with your life rather than committing atrocity.

please don't make such decision. There are still some good men out there who will not only treat but adore you. People differs. The most annoying thing is that these women were not caught in any such act. You just find a way to say things to hurt the woman but I feel calling your wife a prostitute is a little bit extreme.

Is there any iota of maturity for a man to call his wife a prostitute at the slightest quarrel they have? How can such men be described?

Yield: Yes. This's why people have to be careful with the "Do-this-to-your-boyfriend/girlfriend" threads they read here or anywhere else on the internet. While there're great tips around and people post helpful threads, not every tip needs to be taken to heart. You didn't say what sort of attitudes she was putting up to make you call off the r-ship, though. Did you give her the chance to change?

You mentioned people being careful of what they do when they know they are in an established relationship. I began to notice that once she makes up her mind on sometime, I can't make her change her decision,no matter how hard I tried. The last string she pulled was travelling with her friends to God knows where, switching of her phone for 16 days. I couldn't reach her, I called the parents and they told me that she told them that she was travelling to my place. It was after 16 days that I was able to reach her on phone. I asked myself questions like if anything bad maybe she falls into the hands of ritualists or God forbid accident in an unknown area will I be totally free from accusations...I just had to stay clear.

Don't you think that such attitude may be sending a wrong message. I still believe that I may have probably married her if she had been herself. I know that my not marrying her means God did not approve of it. But let's not create problems with our own ideas.

I dated a girl for some couple of years and I was eventually hoping that our friendship would end in a wedlock. Only for her to come up with a formula that if you love a guy, don't let him know that you love him. She was giving this advice to her friends and before you know it, she started putting up attitudes that made me call off the relationship. otokx: This is what we term "addiction" and it can be BBM, nairaland, facebook or anything. As a single person it may not be very obvious or worrisome but then it tends to isolationism. This is his wife not girl friend so something drastic has to be done.

Personally when I found out was becoming addicted to online activity I stopped all my mobile internet subscription and then restricted my online activity to at the office only. The bad thing about phones is they are handy, you can have even 2 phone batteries so being online is continuous. Laptops on the other hand, once the battery dies you can just take a break.

well said. Its really an addiction which may not be too good. Am personally having the same challange and slowing down on subscription as you said could be helping. A stitch in time saves nine.

well, I don't support men cheating on their wife. But the truth is that its really not easy for a man to avoid it with the kind of attraction we get from these single ladies whose b.r.e.a.s.t is pointing 90degrees. And the society won't talk much if a man is doing that for a woman, its a national news. If u come to nairaland and paste that a man is caught cheating and you do same for a woman, the one for woman will hit front page one time while the other is not seen as a big deal.

I agree with u except on the area of leaving your phone @ home and going to work. She can call your phone not knowing that you didn't go out with it. She can also send you text msg. That will burst you bubble. To me, I think that if you r the cheating type, your wife will discover one way or the other though she may choose to act like she don't knw. That's for some women. My gf has these qualities which I prayed for bc my ex gf was directly having the opposite qualities. The only challange am facing now is that she is not very tall.
