I have kept my part of the bargain... Hallelujah... ![]() |
I stood, my breath blown away like I was falling from outta space. I was thinking of all the bad things I have done in my life. I had picked pocket, picked bag, picked clothes but never for once had I picked dollars. How on earth was I going to achieve that feat? ''I owe both of you $50,000, that is 25 each for each of you. But first, let's catch some fun'' Alhaji said. He stood up, threw his caftan over his head and exposed the most ugly belly I have ever seen. ''Attai, this man middle name na wor'' Flow whistled. ''See as hair dem im belle like the ones wey you no dey barb for your preek'' I replied. I turned round so as not to catch his look. ''On a second thought, here is the money'' Alhaji said, handing over to us green looking cash. I stopped myself from doing a mental calculation. It was a lot of money. Something that could change my life for better. I put my wad into the bag pack I had brought while Flow did the same thing. ''Splashhh!!!'' Alhaji jumped into the water. He sunk to the bottom of the pool before his stomach acted like a balloon, it pushed him up. Soon Alhaji was floating on the water like a duck. He was swimming towards the girls with his black ar'se pointing upward. ''Make we dey go'' Flow said to me. Moving some steps. I was unshaken, the box of money laid on the chair Alhaji had sat. It was staring right at me. ''I dey come now now'' I replied. This time whistling. ''You nogo bath?'' I asked Flow outwardly. The giant ape was kinda interested in what it is that I was saying. ''E be like. Na when I first reach house.'' Flow replied. '' See o'' I screamed pointing. Both Flow and the giant ape turned in time to see Alhaji grabbing one of the girls bre'ast. That was all I needed. ''Make we dey go.'' I said to Flow as I walked up to him. Alhaji was still catching his fun and was mindless of us. ''Bros dem'' Flow and I hailed the advanced gorrillas manning the gate. Thos guys could crack my head like a nut if I misbehaved. Flow was handed over his pis'tol as he got outside the house. We were both allowed outside without being frisked. ''Flow, na money be this ooo'' I said as we walked back through the other way. Going back the same way we had come was risky. ''Yes na. Had it been na my own now, na so we for just hammer'' Flow replied me as we took the turn at the middle of the street. We had left pastors them at the back. Right in front of us stood another set of pastors. It seemed every house within that vicinity was owned by a politician. ''How we go do?'' Flow asked as we sighted them. I on my own part was confident. ''We no steal, na to waka pass them na im go show pass'' I told Flow as we increased the swags of our bouncing. ''Na so you carry talk that time o'' Flow said. I just smiled. ''Stop there'' A lanky fellow said to us. While the other set of policemen had appeared tough, this ones looked lean and underfed. It seems money did all the hiring. The plentier the money, the thicker the policemen. ''Attai, I go break this man o'' Flow said not reducing the distance his long legs were covering. ''Na here you wan get power.'' I answered but the person getting the main power was me. ''I swear, I will shoot if you move'' It was typical of hungry policemen. If you dared them, you end up dying. I was not planning to die, not when I had dollars in my bag. ''Flow, make we wait o. E be like this bros dem serious'' I said to Flow who stubbornly waited. ''What do you have in that bag?'' The lanky fellow asked. I wished I could shoot him but the fellow had like 9 other hungry looking policemen as back up. ''Officer, na our books.'' I answered. ''Make I see am'' He said, training his gun at us. Very unprofessional of him. How on earth would you point a gun at a civilian. My leg nearly bucked but the money I had inside my bag gave me strength. ''See am'' I said, dipping my hand into my bag, squeezed a piece of the money and pushed it into the officer's hand. I did not look at him, I turned and walked away with Flow walking by my side. He had surprise written on his face. ''Which of you took a bundle of cash from my box'' Alhaji Mustapha stood with his big stomach bubbling while our ever angry looking Alhaji stood by his side. He had the trademark scowl on his face while his ugly beard rolled on the tip of his finger. Flow looked at me, I only shrugged. I had done it again. ''Attai, them born you born thief?'' Flow said weakly as we stared at the two angry men faces. TO BE CONTINUED.... |

Please... In case this update is not up to your expectation, forgive me o... I dey under stress here walahi... ************************* "Flow, na preek be this?" My eyes bulged as I caught sight of what the man had underneath his towel. "E resemble anaconda ooo...." Flow replied. "Your own preek na play be that" I said and smiled. "Your own na groundnut where this one day" Flow got back at me making me frown immediately. The thick man stood, arms akimbo which involuntarily pushed his waist forward and d'ck in front. It looked exactly like he wanted Alhaji to give him a bl'owjob. Alhaji lifted his head from the coco he was sniffing and immediately squirmed when the di'ck nearly hit his face when the thick man saluted. "Kai, ma ka na yi a ciki, dan ubanka?" "your father, what were you doing inside?" Alhaji asked, after he waved the man back with a flick of his hand. "Wanka na ke yi." *I was bathing* The man replied. "No be only bath, na straff" Flow said while I laughed inwardly at the little unfolding drama. "Je ka kawo mun akwati din can daga cikin daki" *go and get me that box from the room* Alhaji said to him, before sniffing one last time. He stood up, using the back of his palm to dust the whitish powder that had stuck to some part of his elephant looking nose. We have nose, and we have nose. Some nose are used for breathing while others are used for stealing air. You can't sleep close to some people at night because they might end of stealing all the air from the room thereby suffocating you. Such was the nose Alhaji had. "The two of you.." He stopped and looked at us. We both had this mischievous smiles on our face that was quickly replaced by an ugly scowl. "Let's take a walk" He added as he made his way out of the sitting room if that was even his sitting room. We followed suit, our arms behind us, trailing him like we were his bodyguards instead of drug dealers that we were supposed to be. We walked out of the building, him leading us towards the back of the building. "O boy ye" It was Flow, he could not whistle the code, instead he opened his wide mouth and voiced out. I on my own opened my eyes so wide I looked like a frog being strangled to death. "You like what are seeing?" Alhaji asked a statementical (Hon. Pat things) question to which we both nodded. "You can have them" He said before walking straight to a reclining chair. We were staring straight at 4 girls having a swim in only panties, their bre'asts were exposed. There is a difference between bikini and bikinis. These ones were putting on the other type of bikinis. "Y'Alhaj, ga akwatin." That thick, black, monstrous, anaconda wielding dude had been trailing us without us having the slight idea. His member protruded much more than before. He had been taking a peek at the girls from the inner room. Well, that was what I concluded. Alhaji collected the box, opened it and US dollars stared at us. |
More updates coming up in a jiffy |
I thought Alhaji Mustapha had gone mad again. Forgive me, the way he was dressed sure looked like a mad man. Sometimes I wonder if this rich hausa men don't have a sense of dressing while inside their houses. They can use over starched white babban riga to blind your eyes. But the dirty brown caftan they wear inside the house is nothing to write home about. I looked up at Flow who was battling to contain himself, like he was fighting an inward battle. How can Alhaji Mustapha be asking us to join him when he did not offer us a seat neither had he spoken about our money. "Flowwww, the air don steady" I said in a coded way, whistling and clicking my tongue at the same time. "E don red o, na wasteland dey our front so" Flow replied. Alhaji who was concentrating at using an object that looked like a ruler in arranging the coco in a straight like stared at us, his eyes dimming a little bit. "What were you guys whistling about" "O, nothing sir, I am still under the enchantment of this beautiful house." I replied then whistling codedly like I was showing my excitement. "Flowww, this man na john" "Na big one him be o" Flow replied. "Hey boys, stop standing there like soldiers, make your selves comfortable." He said waving us to a chair. During training, we were told of such occurrences and how it points to us being delayed. "Deay" is a dangerous word. We had no weapons on us, how then do we stand in case the whole stuff got messy? Flow dropping his chicken lap with those two black apes was really a silly move. "No sir, we need to return immediately" Flow answered in his most polite English. "That means you are rejecting my offer?" Alhaji sounded hurt. "Not at all sir, it's just that time is of the utmost importance." I replied, not taking my eyes from Alhaji's face. "Owk, if you say so." Alhaji replied. "Duurrrr! Durrr" A sound came out from invisible speakers and immediately, a thick black man, tying only towel came out. He was sweating on his brows. |

Dear Mynd, I know I have been a pain in the ars'e but we both know that I have been good too. Yesterday, a reader endorsed a thread started by me, co-written by Flow1759. Your reply was kinda cryptic as I did not get what you mean. We have given regular updates and the story is on its tenth page. What more can we do to make it qualify for front page? I won't say I met this beautiful girl, but I know we had been communicating for a very long time and truly, I was in love with her. I erred in many ways than one because of the fact that I was trying to keep my emotions in check. When I told her I love her, she told me I just broke up with a girl and probably is too pained to be lonely. That I was looking for a shoulder to lean on. Poor me.... I did all I could but she kept me at the "Friends Zone". I never stopped hoping that one day, all would be well. But how do all become well when she told me she had gotten over herself? I was shocked, like seriously, I love you, told you but you rejected my proposal and I never stopped. Now, you are telling me that you had been in love with me but I was "damn too busy to notice". WOW!!! Well, I don't really know how to handle this case. I'm not here to seek for advice, nothing, I just came here to pour out everything.... You wanna comment, good and fine. You don't wanna... Check into the next thread. Any bashing will be spitefully replied.... SO CUTE WAS THE BLISS Time comes and time goes Seasons washed on the beach of fate Nature sings playing windy tamborines High notes of emotions so great Touch me, hold me, feel me Dying under the strain of silence Cloaked in the mysticism of pains To love and be loved in return So cute was the bliss Rugged and desolate lies the path Too long for my aggrieved heart Piercing torture I now sustain When I look through the window of past pains Now wind to fan this flame No water to wash this shame Just me lonely lying awkwardly Stranded in a feeling so worldly I seek myself out of the abyss Having stayed there in eternal bliss I fight a battle for love Past mistakes being my judge I hate when the rain cry Mourning a soulless soul that doth fly I squirm when the sun whispers There is none to here your whimpers ALAS! SO CUTE WAS THE BLISS Time and time again, I shall stay and wait. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER.... Dedicated to you!!! So cute was the bliss |

"Flow, you don come up with anything yet?" I asked impatiently. My brain had frozen not because of the cold but because of the number of Ostrich legs I saw the policemen holding. "Ostrich leg" is the code word for sub-machine gun. I had already broken into a sweat. If Flow had not hurried me, maybe I would have had my chicken lap intact. "I for say make we shoot our way through." Flow replied obviously thinking deeply. "I no sign up for suicide mission" I nearly said but kept quite. Instead I looked at Flow to make sure his deep thinking was not resulting in some form of madness. "Wetin you come dey say?" I asked the obvious, in a near screaming tone. We had begun walking towards the road block and there was no way we could turn back without drawing suspicion from them. "Make we waka pass them like iska" He said and smiled. Genuis!!! "Iska" is a Hausa word for breeze, wind, air infact, any gas in motion, even fart is called "iskan duwawu" (anus air) by some people. "Na true you talk o, innocent people no dey fear arrest" I said with a smile, my eyes trained before me. We were going to walk through the checkpoint like normal people because we appeared dressed normal, walked normal, with our bags slung over our shoulders normal. I really did not mean what I said, I was scared but Flow with his weapon intact felt like superman. "Your body dey shake" Flow said harshly as we walked past the last of the policemen who did not give us as much as one look. "Cold dey catch me na, why e no go shake" I could have said this if not for the fact that the sun was high up shining and I was sweating on top plus my steps looked like a child who is just learning to walk. "Hey you!" I froze, this guys have discovered us, we were doomed. All these thoughts ran through my head as I stopped. I looked at Flow but he had a smile playing on his lips. "Come here!" The same voice barked. We both turned round and I, for one, nearly dropped dead when I saw the face of the officer who had just called us. He is categorized into "My Pastor" them but with his height and bullying looking face, he rightly deserves "My Senior Pastor" as an acronym to his title. We walked back to meet him, he was standing under a makeshift shed right in front of a house. The house looks like one of the houses of a wealthy politician. "Good afternoon Sir" I and Flow greeted. I nearly prostrated. "Ehen." He answered. "Una no sabi greet?" So it was because of greeting he had called us. One hurdle crossed. "Sorry Officer" We replied, looking at each other. "Why you dey shake like fowl wey enter water?" He asked. His interrogation had interested his colleague who had formed a semi-circle and were watching. I still shook like jelly fish as hard as I tried to conceal it. "my brother?" Flow answered a question with a question, receiving no answer from the officer he proceeded. "Na so him dey do anytime we dey come back from school. Na hungry dey catch am" I looked at Flow, I never knew I was his brother and if I truly was, who was our father? "O... Na hunger. Na wa o. So you no fit act like man abi" The huge officer was playful. I just smiled pensively and nodded my head. "During our time for school, hungry no dey stop us from passing exam o, and we no dey fail self." He said, looking at his colleagues for back-up. This they did by nodding their heads. Who cared anyway, if you had starved in school did not and will not affect the price of garri, I said in my mind. "Na wetin dey una bag na" He asked again. Will he ever get tired? Flow appeared prepared. "We be students, na our books dey inside." He replied. He gave me a secret sign by biting on his lower lip. It meant I should be ready to run for it. I was not ready to outrun a bullet!!! I had to think of something. "Ahhhh... My belle!" I doubled up and fell to the ground clutching on my stomach. This drew everyone's attention as the female officer ran and picked me up, petting me and telling the huge officer to leave us alone. We could be going home and keeping us under the sun was not helping matters as even Flow had begun to sweat. "Make una no vex o, na our jobs we dey do" The huge officer said as Flow led my "stomach paining" self away. We had beat the first obstacle, now is time to deliver the packages. TO BE CONTINUED... |
