sexyviper:
bros this is not funny, this alone is enough to start a revolution we truly needed in this country.
Is that priority?
A revolution will be a total failure, Nigeria is too diverse, not all parties can be satisfied. The conflict and strife would be out of this world.
I just hope a radical person gets to power.
Or will look towards regionalism and reduce the power at Abuja.

A nairaland moderator said they need more fans to support nigeria army on this forum than boko haram, they said media terrorism is like a football game, i don't know if boko haram insurgent is on media or on a field. Boko haram left sambisia forest to claim towns and villages with many innocent lives lost, but some people are telling us to pretend as if notting is happening. I hope it get to their house one day
Would panic and fear defeat the insurgents? No!
Let's not grant these terrorists their wish. To be feared!
I urge the military to bring justice to the bereaved family and Nigerians.

Dibiachukwu: Nobody sees an analogue with HIV story? The story goes this way. African man eat monkey (which he is n8t supposed to do because it is his close relative). Monkey pass disease to African man. African man pass disease to white man. They are trying to justify their evolution lies. This is the same thing they claimed for HIV. If you have ebola. Simply go to your local dibia. He might have some herbs for you. Goodluck everyone.
If you have ebola call the authorities to pick you up
So you don't distribute it as you search for a cure

bushdoc9919: From the research paper...The natural history of Ebola virus in Africa

As for Ebola being a bioweapon, it obviously is a poor one. In 1918, a strain of the Influenza virus killed 50 million people worldwide. Ebola has not even killed up to 100000 people since 1976.

And as Uganda shows....Ebola can be easily curtailed...

The outbreaks in these countries are bad currently, but for the future, we can look at Uganda as a model. The first outbreak in that country, beginning in 2000, resulted in 425 cases and 224 deaths. The second outbreak in 2008 resulted in 149 cases and 37 deaths. In 2011, they had a single case with no secondary spread. In 2012, 11 cases and 4 deaths. 2012, 6 cases and 3 deaths. It’s probably impossible to stop Ebola from spilling over into the human population, but Uganda has done a great job responding. They are able to do early detection of suspected cases in their biosafety level 4 lab in Gulu. They alert local authorities if something is suspected, then send a task force to assist with containment. They communicate effectively with the public about what they can do, and how effective treatment in hospitals can lower the mortality rate. They work with community leaders when a quarantine needs to be put in place. These things can all be employed in West Africa as well, but it takes time and a lot of commitment to get such networks up and running. We need this cooperation as much as we need PPE and even more than we need “secret serums,” because it is only with prevention of new cases that this epidemic will finally die out.
That line is over used, if truly ebola is man-modified, the parties involved might not necessarily have the intention of wiping the entire west African population, what would they benefit from total annihilation?
There are so many possibilities, it is left to our security agencies to covertly monitor foreign health workers (I and a lot of Nigerians appreciate their work) and inspect generally samples of things coming into the country from the airports to the jungle boarders, while our health and environment authorities study Uganda as you suggested.

Bawss1: Very immature behaviour from the mods for the choice of the thread's title. The thinly veiled gloat that is the sense behind this thread is the reason why many people will be wondering why success eludes them despite their apparent efforts.

I won't watch that video o, I won't even discuss about it, I won't be a tool to spread negative propaganda.

If authentic, may the soldier rest in peace.

If it isn't real, then why all the ritual killings and body part extractions?
Nigerians will not go as far as killing for any traditional deity or demon if they won't get something material in return.

But after all said and done, smartwork and God pays better.

Amusaopeyemi: I happen to have known this great guy for four years now, he didn't ask me out all the while I was open to a relationship o, just last week he now strted telling me "I love you and i'll like us to be more than friends alone" on BBM.
I was like "you well so? Did you smoke something this morning?"

LESSON.
If you know you can't be friends with him/her without catching feelings for he/she, don't make friends with them in the first place so you won't claim that you've been "Friendzoned".

Lagos with Teeming slums?
Very typical of them, they cant sneeze without masturbatting about the percieved poverty and suffering in Africa.

Call me a broken record, I won't stop trumpeting about the need for west Africans and other Africans to tell their own stories from a healthy perspective and hear their own stories from indigenous progressive mouths.
