Belvine33:
Did you see anywhere in the article that the man is a muslim? the man is an Asian, but religious hatred has clouded your sense of reasoning so much, that it's muslim you are seeing. Get your facts right!

And as for you @op better edit that title and put asian. You are seeing something you're putting another.
keep lying to yourself!
Islam will self destruct if you dont address these problems.

Belvine33:
You doubt, not you know.
the man isnt muslim, same way ISIS and boko haram arent muslims.

Keep playing ostrich and dont restructure your religious doctrines.

Who knows when another muslim father will stop rescuers from getting to his drowning daughter because of senseless honour.

Who nobel prize don help? Op don baff!

I'm sure C. Achebe did not care about the colonizers' awards.

JomoGbomo2:
Why are you hell bent on painting the man as a Muslim when the article never said so...the best the article said is an "Asian" man without mentioning his religion. Or is Asian synonymous to Muslim now?
The folks trying to save the girl are Muslims and you didn't mention that.
This hatred of yours towards Muslims/Islam is insurmountable and folly of those that also follow your line without reasoning is incomprehensible.
typical! You would not condemn the man's extremism or feel sad about the girl but go on to defend your religion blindly.

I doubt the man wasnt a muslim, I dont know any other popular religion in Asia that is as dogmatic.

Even in that same edo, there is still an Igbo community there (Igbanke)

Even now the concept of an ethnic-wide military mobilisation eludes you. It is beyond the reach of your mind.

You just want to win a baseless online argument, cause I don't see sense in what you are saying.

That is the sad and very bitter truth.

The alternative would have been a prolonged invasion of the Japanese home islands....which would have led to millions of deaths.
You are disgustingly pro-usa.

Again you buttress my point.

"Anioma and present day Anambra communities..."

What percentage do these two make of the Igbo people? And what was the rest of the Igbo population doing when these two were fighting?

Let me guess.
1) going to their farms
2) getting married
3) organising yam festivals
4) and doing all the other things that communities that mind their business do

If you could not see this before you made your post, I am tempted to say that a shallow intellect plaguing you and your kind has helped immensely in keeping your kind in their second fiddle role politically in Nigeria
Ode! The colonialists were invading via the river niger, it makes sense that we that were close to the river tackle them.

I perfectly understand what u are talking abt. The way out is to get our people into key and sensitive positions and nt to be crying abt Biafra.
The norths population will hinder that one,
Another idea is getting either northerners or yorubas on our side, but that is almost impossible, the hate is deeply embedded.

Abeg Biafra jor!

The situation has not even gotten close to a stage where any form of referrendum will b called. U better think of how to maximise d opportunities u have in Nigeria.
in the original post, it is written that the Northerners were ready to leave their region without real estates to ensure that the developpers are not Igbo.

Few years back, they would rather say that Nigeria does not produce cars than to agree that Innoson produces cars.

They rather crawl around the globe begging for weapons than to employ native arms making skills at awka.

Lets not pretend as if Nigeria is not drawing us back.

Lets stop being individualistic, it is drawing out back as a whole

I personelly believe the north is reaping from what dey sowed in d form of Boko Haram. I have no pitty for them at all.

And to those Igbos calling for Biafra in this 2015 u can see that there is no justifiable reason as at now for any government to grant us Biafra. We are nt under any form of torment or attack compared to what happened 1964-67.
Our fathers and grandfathers had paid d price for our survival as an Igbo race.Let them not observe from d great beyond how their children and grand children will suffer what dey suffered. They paid d expensive price so lets live in peace with our Nigerian neighbours
stop this cowardice!

If ruling ourselves and having our country will let us maximize our potential, why not seek a referrendum.

Good fences make good neighbours.

Our relationship with the other ethnic nations will improve when our cultures no longer clash.

@bokoHaram
the terrorism in the north teaches a lesson that when you devote so much energy wiping off your percieved enemies, in time you would turn on your friends.

grin I agree that the cyanide pill part is so theatric, but what information would the average soldier have that will be so sensitive?
The world is moving, we are in the jet age, when countries like China are grooming their soldiers to be deadly computer hackers, Nigeria is exposing hers to medival-type slavish torture.

imagine bokoharam catches a soldier and they want him to give out vital information what you have seen here is child's play.so it's part of training and discipline to toughen a soldier and if you think developed countries don't do it? pls do a little research on Russian military extreme drills
The average soldier does not have enough information to jeopardise the campaign. Soldiers are not secret service agents.

If a man has too much information, he should carry a cyanide pill on his person.

This one small sef!

Go and read up on the rigorous depths of punishment the men of most military outfits of the world pass through before becoming full-fledged soldiers, its thern you'll understand that what that Naija soldier inthe above pix has just undergone is only moin-moin!

The day that Buhari sends military to bomb Niger Delta, that day, I will become a militant and I will successfully blow up pipelines, enough to ground the country. It is a good cause to fight for.
He has already bombed alleged pirates in Cross River.

Aside proper home training and stiff laws to check rape,
I think the average Nigerian girl is too conservative and naive to match up with the desires of her male counterpact.

Na all those white american girls fit Nigerian boys.

This conservatism has to be one of the factors that is fueling rape in India.

The issue is that all the chasity and purity is attached to the girl but the boy is left to think that there is nothing wrong with sleeping around.

How come every part of their girls body resemble either the dad or mum. The girls hand, legs, neck, movements, hight and etc. Blood don't lie period. Unless, those promoting " Mitchell is a man" , come up with a convincing explanation as to why the girls look more of their parents, I remains unconvinced

The authourities should make a show of these renouncement. This should be beamed on TV and radio station. At this point we shouldn't be talking of vengeance as this would discourage other foot soldiers from doing same, offcourse that is not what we want. Terrorists thrive by recruiting and forcefully conscripting civillians into their fold and totally brainwashing them. I believe there are thousands out there who havent participated in the killings and looting and would also be willing to lay down their arms. If asari dokubo and tompolo can lay down their arms and embrace peace, any agitator should.
you call boko haram agitators!
What are they agitating for?
For western education to be scrapped, for sharia to be adopted nationwide, for a muslim president?

You people are evil!
