From the foregoing ,it's like Paul got to the village before his announced arrival. My great mind tells me it's Paul.

Good work bro.....
Paul had a lot of opportunities with Amara. Besides, they met him at the park, days after the first killing. He couldn't have been living in the bush before then.

Thanks, man. It's reassuring to know that I put up a good fight. I will consider writing on Nairaland. Lots to learn from here.

Cheers to everyone that made it. Till another competition pops up.

I still think is Stevenson
1. That why chinsa didn't suspect him.
2. He wears a particular kaki trousers.
3. He knew pastor osi without been told.
4. The devil is into beastlity too and that act is common with europeans.

Still keeping my options open.
You are correct! Chinaza's reaction and the serial nature of the crime flags him out. Okwudili is a drunk and seems too dense for the calculative deviousness of the DEVIL.

But Stevenson has been living in the village for a while before the rape cum murders began. Was he always the devil or did something make him snap?

Time to resume never reach.
Some fantasies derive their plots and settings from mythology. I don't think mythology is an actual genre of literature.

No. It will only move there when the winnee has been announced.
Oh. I was thinking the final stage would be anonymous like the blind audition and readers alone would vote without interference from the contestants.

Will the thread make Frontpage for the voting at the final stage? It would seem to be a popularity contest if the contestants campaign for votes.

You started off with a bang- a man comes to town and sets off series of actions. You hit it right with your MC by placing the first antagonist at the start: Henry, and his cheating and gambling habit. Flaws make interesting, relatable and believable characters.

I like the cliffhanger at the end of the sixth post. You did very well with the suspense! Try to tell us how that turned out in your next post.

Dialogue is the spice of every story. You didn't bore us with endless narration, you let your characters talk although you need to tone down the information dump. Most people would skip the list you made about the team players and their respective wings.

I will be back...

The battle is as intense as it could be! Sad to see you get dropped.

You should know that your plot was very interesting but I think it was your spelling and punctuation that let you down. Try to write with spellcheck activated on your device.

Yes, I still remember the 'prompt with a promise '. I will carefully go through this story and offer hard knocks! grin

Meneski, I admire your passion for writing. Against all odds, you keep trying, and that is the first and basic attribute of a good writer.

I think you should get down to the next stage by studying the ABC of prose.

Read, read and read. Read the big writers on Nairaland and follow their pattern - not style (This should be unique to you)

Science/Technology / WhatsApp To Introduce Money Transfer Feature by Frankenstein: 11:50am On Aug 10, 2017
Of all the messaging services that are out there, WhatsApp remains one of the most functional and feature-rich. Its Android app received picture-in-picture support a little less than three weeks ago, and a week later got access to App Shortcuts. In the latest beta version for WhatsApp’s Android app, it would appear that WhatsApp Payments will be the next feature to make an appearance.

WhatsApp Payments was spotted in the 2.17.295 beta version for the WhatsApp Android app, and as the name of this feature suggests, it will allow WhatsApp users to send money to one another within the application. The splash screen for WhatsApp Payments says that the service allows for “bank to bank transfer with UPI”, and it also mentions that you’ll need to accept WhatsApp Payments’ Privacy Policy and Terms in order to use it.

Not much else is currently known about WhatsApp Payments, but our guess is that it will allow users to send money to one another within ongoing conversations. WhatsApp’s take on peer-to-peer payments likely won’t be any different than what’s been available with services like Facebook Messenger, but it will be nice to have access to it for those that use WhatsApp as their messaging platform of choice.

What do you think about this new feature, and how would it affect the Nigerian users?
