Genesis chapter 1 vs 11: ...and the land produced fruits and vegetation for different uses and God saw that this was good.

God created nature to produce cure for whatever hails us. Back in the days the white missionaries were killed by malaria, they had do research to discover the African root called Quinine and that's why all malaria drugs bear malaquine, chloroquine and etc back than.

There's no 'African root' called Quinine. It is found in the bark of Remijia and Cinchon plants which are not native to Africa. Europeans had been using it as a cure for Malaria before the first missionaries set foot on Africa.

A certain bone when grinded and fermented in wizard wine for three days. And when consumed can give the consumer immotality.
After consumption there are words that accompany it, if not properly recited will cause instant death.

What will you name this one?
Gives complete immortality? There should be chinks and weaknesses.

You don't need to name the bone. Once you decide on a name for the dear, the rest should be derived from that.

Assuming you choose 'The Imbadhur' for example, you could go select its vertebral column as your special bone. So: The Imbadhur's Spine offers immortality.

A Deer with the ability to appear and disappear and its flesh cant be eaten because it decays immediatly it stops breathing.

It skull when broken and grinded on a special stone and mixed with other ingredents of magical importance, can be use to break any magical shield and can be use to form a magical portal if the right words are spoken. But if not,the portal will surely lead to a dangerous place.

What will you call the deer?

What will you call the concortion?
It depends on the world of your story. If it is set in the real world, you could use a jumbled version of the name of a deer in your own language.

Okay. Keep it coming.

Also, that first scene was very disturbing. That sinister calm and care-free attitude of the hell reject.

It's the downside of an open collabo like this. Not every input would be suitable for each writer.

Creeza, just take the dream as a restart.

Please, somebody! Move them out of that room!

When she reopened her eyes, the creature was gone and she wasn't standing anymore. Bisi sat up in an alarm. Greg was beside her in the bed snoring away. She wiped her eyes thrice and pinched herself. The pain was real.

Relieved, she decided to wake Greg just to be sure and douse her tension. Before her hand touched him, Greg sat up and screamed, "Bisi!"

He turned towards her with haunted eyes. "Thank goodness! It's a dream." He then hugged her passionately muttering, "Just a dream."

"You had the same dream too. You saw it? That monster." Bisi rapped in a rush.

"Oh no, " Greg exclaimed, "It-"

A shrill noise sounded beside their bed and they both screamed and jumped out of their skin. It was however the 6am ring from the alarm clock.

Bisi screamed but it came out voiceless. The creature lunged and hit an invisible barrier. Immediately, the woman dipped her hands into the pool and collected a locket. Bisi took one glance at the it before the vision faded.

She was back in the room and was the only one standing. Baba Jegede was on his knees bleeding from his eyes, ears, nose and mouth. His skin was shrivelling but he did not relent with his incantations. Greg was lying still on the floor, curled around Bisi's legs. The creature's whistling had gone up in crescendo, awfully and terribly nerve-racking.

Bisi looked at the tip of the pendant she was clutching, it was the same locket from the vision. The matron at the orphanage she was raised had told her she had it around her neck when she was found as a baby.

Without thinking, she shut her eyes once again and opened it. The whistling ceased and an eerie silence fell on the room.

Transfixed and already losing her bearing, Bisi clung to Greg as the whistling assaulted her inner core. It felt like her soul was being dragged out of her body.

She knew she wasn't strong enough for the mental battering. Her right hand unconsciously went for the pendant around her neck and she shut her eyes as her life drained away.

"Quick, open it... " a deep voice whispered.

Bisi opened her eyes and found out that she was no longer in the room with Greg. She was a solo audience in a past event inside a strange cave. A white man in a priest's attire was leaving frantically at a black leather book. He turned towards a pregnant woman who was sitting on the floor beside a pool at the centre of the cave.

"We don't know what will happen," the pregnant woman said amidst tears.

"What choice do we have?" said the man. The deep voice Bisi heard was his.

"But-"

The pregnant woman was cut short by an appearance at the entrance of the cave. It was the same creature.

As he made to go over and pick it up, Bisi began to sob. He paused immediately and chided himself.

What was he thinking?

Greg felt like going over to comfort her. He was seriously worried about her. She had been unable to utter a single word after she saw Chidi's headless body.

He moved into the adjoining bathroom, picked up a mop and came out. Carefully, he began drawing the phone close and then it happened.

In a blur, Chidi's headless body seized the mop, sprang up and dragged it forcefully. Greg went flying towards it but his left hand caught the door handle. The zombie got hold of Greg around his right elbow and was about to drag him out when Bisi charged.

For a few seconds, everywhere went deathly silent. Then, Bisi let out a piercing shriek and her body began to vibrate. Sensing that she could lose consciousness, Greg hugged her tightly from the side.
"Baby... Stay with me, please, " he begged as a single tear rolled down his right cheek.

Moonlight cast a glow on Chidi's pool of blood which slowly muddled the barrier line of holy water.

Greg's mind went into overdrive, parsing information in milliseconds. Instinctively, he stood up, recollected the jar of holy water and made another line from door post to door post away from Chidi's headless body which lay across the open doorway.

He turned to Bisi and asked, "Babe, do you have your phone with you? I left mine at the sitting room."

Bisi stared blankly at him for a while, shook her head and pointed where the body lay.

Greg looked back and saw Chidi's Nokia phone. The torchlight was on but it was outside his old and new barrier line.

Greg firmly shut the door after pulling Chidi inside his room. The room was sort of a safe haven. Once inside, they can't leave and the creature can't get in- that was what he concluded.

His girl was sitting on the floor close to the window muttering to herself. Her hands were wrapped around her knees which she squeezed to her chest. Concerned, Greg walked up to Bisi and sat beside her.

"What is going on here, Greg?" Chidi demanded.
Greg looked at him, opened his mouth to speak and then shut it immediately.

"Guy, talk to me na, that thing outside... "

Chidi was cut off by a bang from the sitting room. Something or somebody had either come in or gone out.

"Hello, who dey this house?" a familiar voice asked. "Make una come out, that thing don run away. Our men dey chase am."

Greg realised who was speaking. Ola was the leader of the neighbourhood's vigilante group. He had always prided in the efficacy of his traditional 'jazz' which he claimed came from the highest shrine in his hometown.

Warily, he watched Chidi who appeared relieved move to the door to go out.

"No!" Bisi yelled. "It could be a trap. Please do not leave."

Chidi totally ignored her, unlocked the door and stepped out.
