Vibra: errm...pls enlighten us on how given GMB another chance is Change, if you want to judge GEJ that way then I say none of d two shld ve dat chance cos by ur sense of judgement although u don't realize it, they've both had their chances so y not stop being a hypocrite and give dat chance to someone who had not really had a chance like the woman contesting and yes, she is a better option for dat change u blindly profess. |

Politics / Re: Nairaland Poll On February Presidential Election Between Jonathan And Buhari by Frankestein08(m): 1:22am On Feb 05, 2015 |
sparklebaby: azin I tire o, they've made it so obvious that we've to choose the lesser evil between this two evils. am sure someone will say that the others aren't publicizing enough but have you also considered the fact that to campaign you need funds and most parties are not financially strong as pdp or apc and also when it comes to issues of funds, we all know that apc & pdp are crooks in dat aspect, so yes they have enough to burn on campaigns only to come and say same shiit dey said years back. Am sure that way before this election GMB has not donated anything even as small as a transformer to any neighborhood yet they all come professing change that has not been initiated. To do big things, you have to start from the little things. imagine if all those billions used for campaigns was put into something beneficial to the people of nigeria. Honestly, if you ask me, GEJ & GMB have had their chances and am tired of watching same set of people acting over and over again, so let em leave the stage for others to showcase what they have...isn't that the true meaning of change! Besides there's a woman contesting and I believe womem are way better at governing and home management (naija is our home) than men so yea, she's getting my vote. 2 Likes 1 Share |

teemanbastos: Am sure u don't live in ondo state...pdp didn't make his choice for him, yes mimiko is a back stabber and he made his choice by himself cos he's planning to run for Senate after dis second term ends, cos he knows his political career will b ruined if he stays in labour party. When he was running for second term, y'all encouraged him after he has blinded y'all with water fountain & putting tiles on the fly over at oba-adesida road. whereas it was the same man who before he entered his 1st term said and I quote "any man who runs for a second term is a thief" and I guess he's now proving that fact now. well, in summary, the people of ondo state are now suffering the consequences especially the market people. it's so bad that even someone selling notebooks & Biro in a wheelbarrow gets to pay tax that is more that what he makes in a month, it's so bad that paying the salaries of government workers is now considered an achievement...now February 14 beckons and y'all have to make choices between two evils to choose the lesser evil, but then again y'all blinded to see that there're others contesting too and that includes a woman which if you ask me, she's a better third option. it's not bout GEJ n GMB! this people are playing on your emotions but you can't see that, can you?! My gullible nigerians |

Lets put sentiments aside, if the principal thus dies, buhari should be held responsible because right now he's the one key to prove the authenticity of d supposed certificate. therefore the only reason someone will want him dead is to cover up the truth. 4 Likes |

Politics / Is It Change We Seek Or Rebound. (Must Read) by Frankestein08(m): 9:21pm On Jan 24, 2015 |
Ok, after the rally today in ondo state, I realized that most of y'all don't understand the word CHANGE. As much as I didn't want to write this, I just had to, I mean everyone has a say when it come to political issues in our country. Am not here to back any party or counter or oppose or be biased but with what I've been seeing on nairaland, it seems pretty clear some people are as clueless as the man they call clueless with no specific sensible reason on why they back a certain party. Some, with what they write and they way they argue, you'll know that this ones have no real facts bout anything, all they do is really on whatever google tells them and if you ask me that's really silly and unreasonable. Some that are the real political fanatics who one way or the other have their different reasons, which are sensible enough. Some don't really care, they just wanna get likes, shares and counter others just for the fun of it. Some are just blinded by hate, that they join others who claim change to proclaim change but the question is, what you call change, is it really change or rebound? I know we Nigerians all have our reasons why GEJ shld either go or stay. Yes, I understand why most of y'all want him gone but to be honest in terms of whether he worked or not? Yea, he did work. But according to your lamentations, he didn't do what you really wanted him to do...like the terrorist situation in our country, the kidnappings, the bombings, the missing of funds, corruption and other things like that but I guess we've all been through that over and over again even with the past governments and no one had the balls to lament until now anyway this is not the thread for that. Now, back to the my point. On every political thread, I've seen the way people lament bout the need for change, we need change! We need Change!!! We need change!!! That's what they all say but the change you proclaim, is it really change or rebound? Do you even known or fathom what the word "change" means? Cos certainly most of you don't!!! "Change is the process to make something into something different, something new, some never experienced or used before." So now I ask you, how is voting for GEJ called CHANGE? How is voting for GMB called CHANGE? We've experienced GEJ's rule so also have we experienced GMB's rule and if you ask me, they've all had their chances to implement they CHANGE they profess. There's a woman ( Prof. Oluremi Sonaiya of KOWA ) also competing for the presidential post, we've never felt a woman rule and putting feminism aside, am sure most of you if not all will agree with me that women are perfect planners and without em in each and every of our lives, we men are nothing...I say leave GEJ and GMB alone and vote for the woman contesting cos that's the only change I see. You know I find it funny how most of us rely on the internet or google as you say this days for proofs forgetting that those proofs you copy and paste on every thread where written by men and it ain't 100% authentic, which is more like playing a 50-50 game, it's either true or lies and in this present predicament of our dear country, how can you know which is which. If you really want true facts, there are physical ways to get them and not relying on the internet to get what ever rubbish people like FFK post there on daily basis. What I mean to say is that to get real facts, there are respectable elders in your area who have lived through the military regimes and also the present civilian rule, go interact with them and lend their wisdom and I promise that you shall get inspired. |

Politics / Re: Certificate Saga: Why We Attached Buhari’s Recent Photograph – School by Frankestein08(m): 8:27pm On Jan 24, 2015 |
How come he's talking about passport when passport was not even in use back then! seriously if y'all need real fact bout stuffs, stay off d internet and go consult respectable elders in your area. they ll tell you the truth. The supposed rumour that buhari doesn't have a certificate could be true cos bak then most northerners don't goto school and even if they did, all they needed was to get a reference letter to get into the military or anywhere. Am not insinuating anything but if you don't believe this, go and ask an elder, someone who lived past the military regime. 2 Likes |
