Oviebright:You should apply when the proof of funds is intact your sponsor's bank account. Please the sponsor should be closely related (spouse, parents or siblings). If after building the funds and you're unable to meet up with the program start date, you've the right to seek for deferment. It will end in praise |
Officialksolo:Don't give the immigration of Canada the impression that your partner is sponsoring your education in Canada. This sponsorship will be regarded as third party sponsor and as such the question about funds accessibility becomes an issue in your application. The best approach for a case like this is to state that you're self-sponsored and you're the owner of the company which is your primary source of income. Attach only the front page of the CAC certificate, you're covered. It will end in praise |
Phiyin:Sure! You can use a dorm account statement for your study permit is acceptable. It will end in praise |
ireneayeni:Please be advised that having an active Express Entry profile without an ITA does not in any way indicate that you've applied to enter or remain in Canada. The answer to this question should be NO, i.e if you've not applied for study permit/visitor's visa before. Landed property documents are often bulky in nature. If you're unable to compress it to suit into the "Proof of Means of Financial Support", you can move it to the "Client Information" column. Other documents that has to do with finance like CAC, taxes, bank statement should merged and uploaded in the "Proof of Means of Financial Support". For more information on how to arrange your documents into different segments, please check my post on this thread in 2018: DETAILED LIST OF DOCUMENTS FOR STUDY VISA AND THEIR APPROPRIATE CATEGORIES FOR UPLOAD It will end in praise |
Kudiratu28:I regret to hear your study visa was refused by the Canadian immigration department. The refusal reason "Personal Assets and Financial Status" is pointing at your establishment in your home country. The visa officer is concerned that you don't have strong holdings that will compel your return home after studies. As a result, to overcome this concern, you should ask your father to transfer a property to you. The worth of the asset should clearly be declared in the application and strong explanation letter must suffice to elucidate why you can't abandon this property for a stay in Canada. Frankalvinz:Since you've not been getting real time updates on your file, why not try ordering for the CBSA notes. This notes is more detailed than the regular GCMS notes, and will reveal the entire processes your application has passed through at the Canadian embassy including the information shared with other countries. It will end in praise |
Teenie19:The visa office in Nairobi, Kenya is overwhelmed with applications at the moment due to the rush from Nigerians seeking to relocate/study in Canada. You're not alone in this journey as several applications have been left untouched for the past 5 months without any staggering update on their application. I don't think it's a wise decision to request for a withdrawal at this time. You can make it a daily routine to contact the primary and secondary visa offices in charge of your application via webform to expedite the processing of your application. Another thing is to keep faith and be hopeful for a positive outcome. It will end in praise |
AOJoy:I'm here, feel free to let me know how I can be of assistance to you Sir/Ma. It will end in praise |
ooa1st:Frank of @gcmswriters ? Please be advised properly that I don't have any claim nor proof of ownership to @gcmswriters. It will end in praise |
Lianna2020:Her application was refused by the Senior Immigration Officer. The Program Case Analyst has given his review based on the information present on file, but the Senior VO is not satisfied with the initial review and had to decline the application. According to the information obtained from the Canadian immigration regulations and manuals, only the Senior VO has the final decision on any application submitted to IRCC. It will end in praise |
olupatito:This is a pre-assessment notes of the Program Case Analyst, you can't rely on this notes as the final review on your application. Please check the last two pages of your gcms notes, which contains the factual reasons as to why the Senior Immigration Officer refused your application. What happened in your case is that, the Program Case Analyst who is responsible for the initial R-10 check was satisfied with your application, albeit the Senior Immigration Officer had some reservations concerning the file during his assessment and decided to review your file again thus unavoidably leading to a negative decision. This happens occasionally on several cases. Lastly, go for post graduate program instead of Second degree.. This will make your case convincing to the visa officer. It will end in praise |
Kudiratu28:I don't think there is a correlation between your current employment with your intended program in Canada. Hence the purpose of visit as a ground for refusal. The visa officer is obviously not satisfied about the reasonableness and lucrativeness of studying the program in Canada when weighed with the existing options available in your home country. Please order for your gcms notes as soon as you can and begin to work on providing a persuasive letter of explanation to address the initial concerns highlighted by the visa officer. It will end in praise |
Spectro:@Spectro, I'm getting to know your visa was refused by the Canadian immigration. Sorry about the delayed outcome of your application. Giving up shouldn't be an option for you, share a detailed profile of your submission and let's see how we can get help. In the meantime, order for your case notes to obtain a clearer picture of the refusal. It will end in praise |
Omankem8:Thank you very much Madam for the compliments and best wishes. It means a lot to me. God bless you too and grant everyone on this platform the approval which they humbly seek for. It will end in praise |
Johanneiyoha:Any valid and recognised ID is acceptable (Voter's Card, Driver's Licence, NIN) It will end in praise |
Lianna2020:Apologies for the late reply from me. I pay visit to this thread at my leisure. Glad you found the information useful. All the best! It will end in praise |
Evergeen22:I regret to hear you've been found inadmissible to Canada for a period of five (5) years for a charge back you've no idea about. I empathise with your critical immigration situation and I'll have to encourage you to put yourself together. As other group members have earlier expressed their views, the best way to overturn the 5-years ban issued to you by IRCC is to hire an experienced immigration attorney in Canada, who will fight the case through the Judicial Review Process. Since you submitted your application from outside Canada, you've 60 days from the date the decision was made to file for a Judicial Review. Do not waste any time further, act as fast as possible. Please be aware that you will have to show proof that you transfered the exact amount equivalent to a compensated agent in Nigeria who later in the process requested for a chargeback from his bank. I wish you the best on your Judicial Review Process. It will end in praise |
Lianna2020:It's possible to obtain your study permit and return back to Nigeria to continue your studies online. There is no issue with this. It will end in praise |
otclare:Which of the Master's program are you seeking to pursue in Canada and the school. These are the factors you should be looking out for when applying for Graduate Admissions. Some programs are usually competitive with limited space, if your grades and personal statement is not clearly outlined in a persuasive manner, it will be tough to get in. It will end in praise |
atiteb4:My Oga! I greet you, Are you sure of this? 3.0 for Master of Science in Canada? Do you meant to say MA - Master of Art?, MBA - Master of Business Administration? I know most MSc programs in Canada are thesis based and would require a supervisor's consent prior to be considered for admission. With such grade (3.0), the applicant should opt for MA, MBA or PGD. It will end in praise |
Okotoko88:My simple advice for you is to forget anything that has to do with Canadian permanent residency at the moment as most outland applications that falls under that category (permanent residency) are presently on hold due to travel restrictions. It may also interest you to know that IRCC have not been issuing FSW draws to outland applicants for the past 5 months and still counting. As a consequence, study permit is the ONLY feasible and fastest immigration route to Canada. It will end in praise |
ohizzy:I want to believe you're asking this question probably because you're out of job at the moment. If this is the case and your Ex-HR is ever willing to issue you a reference letter, it should be stated that you still work with the firm. In all honesty, IRCC are not checking for salary deposits in your bank statement whenever it comes to study permit application. It's possible for an applicant to use their savings account which has more frequent transactions for their study permit instead of salary statement. Therefore, my advice is that you shouldn't include a salary statement in that regard, so you don't shoot yourself in the foot. It will end in praise |
modestmj:Apologies for the late reply. The mybank statement certificate accompanied with a six (6) months bank statement is sufficient for your application. As for the other attachment, kindly ignore/remove it. It will end in praise |
Cherukei2015:I have adequately addressed your immigration concerns. It will end in praise |
JustMellow:I greet you bro! Are you saying that so long as the applicant has been approved whether the change of DLI was done inside or outside, a new study permit will have to be applied for.? Confirm this information whenever you're available on here. It will end in praise |
olabisi6438:Your sponsor is a third party (uncle), its practically irrational as to why an Uncle is spending so much on a niece to pursue a whole 4-year Bachelor's degree program in Canada. Please stick to my previous advise, use your parents as your sponsor if you want to get your visa approved. It will end in praise |
jfrazzy:Show me the study permit application that is currently being processed in Lagos immigration office and I'll demonstrate to you with verifiable proofs that all study permit applications from Nigeria are handled in Nairobi, Kenya visa office. It will end in praise |
olabisi6438:There is no need making upfront tuition payment as it's not a prerequisite for visa approval. The issue with your application is the fact that you're using a third party sponsorship (Uncle) for your study permit and also there is no proof of ownership for the company's account you submitted with your application. To address these concerns, get a close relative, your parents preferably to sponsor your education in Canada. As earlier advised, University of Regina don't require tuition deposit above $500CAD. Your father/mother should have adequate funds in their bank account to cover for your tuition, living expenses and other incidental expense in Canada. It will end in praise |
tinuowo:For study permit, Canada immigration don't encourage people to settle in remote areas simply because they know that cost of education is relatively cheaper and international students easily can secure a permanent residence shortly after studies. It will end in praise |
fidelium7:NABTEB as the highest level of education is unachievable for Master's and Bachelor's program in Canada. It will end in praise |
Silas12345:I believe you've a good case since "Personal Assets and financial status" was only highlighted as the reason for refusal. Share a detailed overview of your profile, who was your sponsor, your educational background and course of study in Canada. There is solution to every immigration issues irrespective of its complexity. Please provide these information, myself or my fellow NL experienced member would take it up from there. It will end in praise. |
