awys: @Frank Robbn 1 if one selects the international bank transfer in CAD which they charge extra 30cad dollars cuz I saw the options there can one still use the visa /MasterCard to pay which is in Naira and not USD You can't use Naira Master Card to pay any amount that is higher than $100 per month. I think its only Access Bank that has a higher limit of $300, which is still very low. As earlier advised, your best option is to contact a trusted fellow abroad (preferably Canada) to assist you in making payment since you've a deadline from the University. It will end in praise |

awys: But if one selects the USD one needs to have the dormicilliary account and find it with USD right even the black market rate for USD isn't funny at all am also trying to pay my fees as flywire is the option given by my school to pay but the rate this morning is 399 and using FORM A in the bank they said it takes forever I don't know what other option I can think of i have a deadline of February 15th to pay or else they will charge for late payment of $77 Winnipeg want finish me I tire There are different options when making use of Flywire Corporation for international tuition payment. There is an option that states you can make payment in USD with your dollar card and there is another that confirms that you can pay in USD through an international bank transfer. The international banks requires a swift code and the bank details which you will have to process using a FORM A. Apparently, most commercial banks are complaining that CBN has reported to have scarcity of forex to carry out international transactions. It takes over 7 to 8 weeks for payment to be made. At this juncture, your best option is to get someone abroad (preferably Canada) to make the payment on your behalf, while you send the equivalent in Naira to the person's account. I hope this information helps. It will end in praise |

I intend to use this passport to start my application while I renew and use the new one when I get my PPR. I hope I am in line and this has no implication whatsoever. Kindly advise. You're on track, apply with the old passport and make plans towards renewing the passport in March. Once the passport has been renewed, you can send a copy of the updated Passport to the immigration. MrsYO: Please guys @OtunbaTee @Frankrobbn1 @Lekkiboboe @Olasubomy @Justmellow and other gurus.
I need clarity on these informations;
1) I lost my job last year september due to Covid 19. Pls how do I explain this in my SOP even though I have sufficient POF? Should i still submit documents such as Letter of Employement,Promotion Letters Old payslips?
2) My husband was denied SINP last year, should i state it in my application or just be quiet about it since i wasnt the primary applicant? See my responses below; 1. Do you've a registered business in Nigeria or among the board of directors in any establishment in Nigeria? You can claim that due to the impact of COVID-19 which have had adverse effects on the global economy and several companies revenue, your employer laid-off workers so as to manage the available resources they have, cost-cutting, buyouts, and/or mergers. However, you've a business which you run in the interim while making preparations for you studies abroad. On the other hand, if you don't have any business, you can simply include your former employment documents in your application. 2. You don't have to mention the denial of your husband's SINP. This is a PNP application not a visa application. It will end in praise |

Teeprecious: Hello house, has anyone used flywire to make payments recently? Is their rate pocketly friendly and can I have an idea of what the rate is like. I anticipate a feedback as I am looking for rates that won't send me back to our village o. Flywire corporation rates are very outrageous especially if you select the Naira option of making payment. You can choose the international bank transfer in USD option, the rate is moderate. It will end in praise |

For BSc I did International Law and Diplomacy, the course is just like international relations. I’m currently running my masters in Peace and Conflict studies in Ibadan. I will be done with my masters this year by Gods grace I plan on going to Canada for another masters in CRIMINOLOGY. Pls do you think I will be accepted in criminology and mind you, I have no work experience in criminology. Also if not what courses do you think I can register for masters. Celoexpress: Thank you so much Mr Frank, never too late to hear from you.
Please I also have a few challenges that I will appreciate your advise and that of our gurus on this platform (Mr Frank, Lekiboboe, OtunbaTee, JustMellow, etc.)
I have deferred till May 2021 but I am yet to notify IRCC because I do not have the new LOA from the school yet.
Also, how often can I keep sending webforms please as my application is way over processing time and I have sent webforms and mails once every week for the past 3 weeks without acknowledgment or update from the embassy asides my GCMS notes.
Lastly, my passport expires January 2022, I have 2 schools in mind, my current school which I deferred ends in March 202. This means the study permit to be issued is longer than the validity of my passport. Do you advise I renew now since it is still a year away before expiry or wait till close to end of this year to renew which by then, I would be in Canada as I plan to leave in April.
Please guys, I would appreciate your advise and responses on this. Thanks to you for your consistent help. Given that you don't have the new LOA from the school, you don't need to notify IRCC about the deferment. You can make it a routine to contact IRCC Nairobi office thrice a week, this might trigger them to attended to and finalize processing of your application. If you can renew your passport with a one year validity in Nigeria, it will save you the stress and cost of travelling to Ottawa for passport renewal. It will end in praise |

Celoexpress: Good evening Mr Frank, I sent you a message a week ago. Please can you advise me on this?
The primary office reviewing my application is Nairobi and the secondary office is London. I have not been sending webforms to London. Is it possible to send a mail to the London office now that i know London is the secondary office and that is where my application is processed to explain some things about my switch in course from geology to data analytics and also a PGD with my 2.1 because my GCMS says my eligibility shows recommend interview.
Also, my application is way past standard processing time, sent mails and webforms twice lastweek but no response or PPR yet. Also started classes this winter about 3 weeks ago. What do you advise I do? Really want to know if it'll come out soon so I know if to defer till May session cause school deadline for withdrawal is soon.
I really appreciate your constant help to us here. My sincere apologies for not replying your mail on time. I will create out time to respond to all the enquiries I received over the past few weeks. With respect to your enquiry, you can contact the both offices (London and Nairobi) that are responsible for the processing of your application. I believe you were able to obtain this information from your GCMS notes. In the GCMS notes, did you see any comments of the visa officer in connection to why your eligibility assessment is showing "Recommend Interview"? I do not believe that its something you should worry about. This is because the current status of your eligibility was done by the "Program Case Analyst" and will still be transfered to a Senior Immigration officer at the High Commission of Canada for finalization of your file. Please abstain from providing any explanation about your choice of program if anything of such wasn't mentioned in your GCMS notes. On the other hand, i don't think its ideal to start your studies online when you've not received either an "AIP letter" or "Passport Request" from the immigration of Canada. Personally, I would suggest you drop the courses and wait for the final outcome of your application prior to starting your program. In the same vein, defer your admission till May, 2021 and update your application with the updated LOA. It will end in praise. |

Patricknetter: Hello, good evening, please I want to apply/study post graduate certificate course in canada is there high chances of me getting the Canadian visa... Pls help a brother No one is ever guaranteed of a successful application process, even though you might qualify as per the Canadian immigration policy. You have to prepare your application in accordance with the existing immigration regulations and submit it along with the correct supporting documents to be verified by the Canadian Department of Immigration. The format that one needs to follow is not clearly spelled out by the immigration authorities and a lot of times results in many applicants submitting their files incorrectly, unavoidably leading to denial. Therefore, it is advisable to read through the past threads and acquire the necessary information. It will end in praise |

olasubomy: Good evening Frankrobbn1, Chocs, Lekiboboe and other gurus in the house.
Please i have a question and need your thought and experience on how to approach this.
I have a friend who has gotten original passport request from IRCC on the 14 Janaury, 2021 so the 30 days grace given to submit the passport would elaspse February 13, 2021.
My concern is she has deferred her admission from Janauary 2021 to mid year before the approval came on her application.
Now my question is should she raise a webform to notify IRCC of this change before submitting her passport for stamping? or should she submit her passport first , have it stamped and notify IRCC afterwards? Having in mind that the 30 days grace to get her passport to IRCC is just about 14days from now.
What do you guys think is the best approach to handle this? Congratulations to your friend. She should submit her passport immediately for visa issuance. She doesn't need to inform IRCC about her deferment. It will end in praise |

Do i have any chance??
Do i still need to ans to 2,3,4,5 & 6 as listed here? In the above situation whereby your sponsor (aunt or uncle) is the main sponsor not the company.
