Uzomachukwu:That sounds good, albeit that would require a rational and persuasive letter to scale through. Most of these visa officers are not custodian of knowledge, so one has to properly detail their reasons for choosing their proposed program of choice in Canada rather than pursuing a similar option in home country. It will end in praise |
Ajoke08:The visa officer is not satisfied with your intent to study in Canada considering that you've a degree and now seeking to pursue an ordinary diploma. I will suggest you apply for a Post Graduate Certificate in Global Business Management or better still try an MBA program since own a registered business in Nigeria. This will prove to the visa officer in your next application that your situation has substantively changed to merit a visa. It will end in praise |
Austin163:If the immigration authorities of Canada can verify your results online through the school's official website, you might not face any issues with that. However, it will almost be impossible to convince the visa officer as a matured student that you're a bonafide applicant if your bank statement has a low balance as at the time of your application. In light of this, its highly recommended you build you statement to a reasonable extent before submitting your application. It will end in praise |
Esmeob:You can walk into any of the business centers or photo studios around your locality and request for 2X2 visa passport. This is the required size for study visa application for Canada and US. It will end in praise |
LadyBR:Your sister in Canada can sponsor your studies in Canada. However, its highly advisable that you must demonstrate tangible family ties like properties, registered business and investments in your name to prove to the visa officer beyond every reasonable doubt that your incentives to return back to Nigeria far outweighs that of CANADA. Your ability to provide adequate ties to Nigeria determines your application success. It will end in praise. |
prodigy20:A good bank statement, adequate family ties and course correlation/reasonableness are what you require for successful study permit application to Canada. It's never a requirement to pay upfront tuition prior to the submission of your application. In view of the foregoing, you should go ahead with your application. It will end in praise |
Chiscomax:You're absolutely free to switch to any course of study or DLI once your study permit has been approved. You should inform IRCC via your CIC account about your intent to transfer/switch to another program. IRCC will acknowledge your request and update your records accordingly. It will end in praise |
Cashmay:Dual intent is legitimate and acceptable according to the IRCC case law clearly spelled out on their official website. However, when applying for study permit, you must demonstrate that you're a bonafide student who will study on a temporary basis and would return home after studies. It will end in praise |
Emmyzdon:Sure, she still remains your biological mother. Although, if you're a matured applicant above the age of 35, it will raise eyebrows as to why she is financing your studies instead of your husband or yourself. Therefore, do your very best to dot every i's and cross every T's in your application. It will end in praise |
Bobinho10:If the person has done biometrics, the answer should be YES and state clearly the immigration program type. It will end in praise |
taminat:You can transfer the funds in other accounts into the bank account that offers mybankstatement certificate service to their customers. A written letter of explanation as per to origin of these funds must suffice in order to avoid suspicious reviews by the visa officer. It will end in praise |
feclela:You can still use him as your primary sponsorship for your visa application. Although, you must include strong evidence that this farm business has been in existence prior to the registration of the business. You can include pictures, receipts/invoices as well as land documents or a letter from the ruler of the community authenticating this business to be functional in the community. More so, there is no harm registering the business now and including it with your application. You should explain to the visa officer that the farm business is located in a rural area and as such your parents haven't deem it necessary to register it wit the federal government. It will end in praise |
Anon123:Surprisingly, member of Parliament has little or no role to play on an applicant's application. They can obtain the current status of application but can't expedite the processing or decision of the visa officer. I would recommend applicant should contact both her primary and secondary visa officer in an email to inquire about her application. It will end in praise |
dyce101:Its not advisable to have two temporary resident visa applications processing simultaneously at the Canadian High Commission. You've the option to withdraw the long processing visitor's visa application and apply for study permit to further your studies in Canada. It will end in praise |
Hurllarh:Withdrawal of her current study permit application shouldn't be a feasible option here. She was a minor when her mum filed for the US application. She can update the IMM1294E study permit application form by including the refusal and provide a brief letter of explanation addressing this concern. From my vast experiences, no reasonable visa office allegedly charge her for misrepresentation. @ozone00001, please be properly guided. It will end in praise |
ozone00001:I don't think this should have a negative effect on your present study permit application considering that you're a minor (below the age of 18) as at when your mom filed for the US application. You can provide an updated study permit form IMM1294E and upload it via IRCC webform with brief explanation addressing the issue. You will face no problems whatsoever in the hands of the immigration authorities. It will end in praise |
Wadogho:Generally Speaking, I wouldn't advice anyone on this platform to use company's sponsorship for a Canadian study permit application. You can only do so, on the account that the owner/CEO of the company is a close family member. However, if the owner of the company is not in any way related to you, it will be extremely difficult to convince the visa officer on the provenance of funds accessibility during the course of your studies. It will end in praise |
Austin163:Transcripts is a very essential document to be included alongside your application package when applying for a study visa to Canada. Even though, there are a few number of applicants who were successful without including their transcripts with their application, I would urge you to include it. I recently noticed a new refusal reason from the immigration of Canada, which is often as a result of "missing marksheets/transcripts" to show progression for the chosen course of study. To play on a safe path with your two eyes closed, its advisable to include one. With respect to your second question, the amount in your account matters a lot in your visa application and further demonstrate your personal financial establishment. If you're a matured applicant and in gainful employment for the past 3 years and above, its very important to show substantial proof of funds on your part irrespective of the fact of being sponsored by a family member. I hope this information satisfies your enquires. It will end in praise |
Olanrewajuluke1:Nairobi is the primary visa office for most study permit applications from Nigeria. See their email address below; Email address- nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca It will end in praise |
Wadogho:Why spend so much for a document that is not relevant to your study permit application? I can tell you for free that police character certificate is not a requirement for study permit from Nigeria. It will end in praise |
Yemite1845:There is no logical progression for Business Analytics/Data Science with digital marketer. To the best of my knowledge, a management program should be your ideal course of study. An MBA program or Master of Economics are good options for your profile. It will end in praise |
DannyD12342:Have you contacted IRCC to inquire about the current status of your application since your submission?. Sometimes it's good to contact them asking if they need additional documents/information from you so as to expedite the processing of your application. This most often reminds them to work on your file and provide an update. It will end in praise |
mrkingz:This occurs when you using your mobile phone to sent a webform to IRCC. I will suggest you try it again with your system, it will pull through. It will end in praise |
JustMellow:Thank you very much brother! I wish you well too. It will end in praise |
Esmeob:There is no need renewing it, you should apply with the current passport. It will end in praise |
marcelonwa:You need to contact IRCC via webform to inquire about the current status of your application and ask if they need any documents from you to expedite the processing of your application. Sometimes, if you don't follow up with the immigration authorities, you may not get a faster processing from them. Be proactive by contacting IRCC via this medium. IRCC WEBFORM - NAIROBI It will end in praise |
JustMellow:My brother, I'm doing very well thanks for asking. I have been quite busy with my daily activities, hence my inactive contribution on this platform. Hope you're good too? I can see your ceaseless advices in addressing prospective applicants inquires. Keep it up bro! You too much!! It will end in praise |
Esmeob:You can apply with the passport you've with you on the account that its validity is more than six (6) months. Aside this, I would suggest you renew your passport before applying for study permit to Canada. It will end in praise |
scaezar:You can book for your medicals online with IOM via this medium; ONLINE MEDICAL APPOINTMENT BOOKING It will end in praise |
Debbyiiii:This simply means that your passport is currently being processed at the Canadian Embassy office in Abuja. You should receive further information via email when your visa has been issued and your passport returned back to the VAC. It will end in praise |
scaezar:This is a good news, Congratulations to you. You did the right thing by getting an experienced immigration lawyer in Canada to respond to the Procedural Fairness Letter (PFL) you received from IRCC. Good lawyers are very pricey, however, It's really worth the money and time hiring one for your case. The medical request you got from IRCC clearly indicates that the visa officer is reasonably satisfied with the response and supporting documents supplied by the immigration lawyer. Hence, your eligibility criteria for study permit has been passed. You shouldn't be scared about anything, you can contact the admission office of your prospective school in Canada to inquire about the possibility of reinstating your admission with them. If it matters, you may want to pay for application fees for readmission. Keep me posted about the outcome of your application. It will end in praise |
Lysega:Its totally irrelevant to explain to the visa officer why you deferred your admission. It will end in praise |
