tracy0803409:Your hubby can apply once you arrived Canada and have secured your study permit document. I will advice you apply with your son since he is just a year old, then your hubby applies seperately. Though the reason for your son accompanying you to Canada must be very persuasive. It will end in praise |
Babyboy2020:You can certainly be admitted for a PGD program with HND certification. You can apply to Conestoga College and Fanshawe College. It will end in praise |
Teetoms:No, you can't use pension statement as a primary proof of funds for study permit application. It will end in praise |
bale98:Generally, for the SOWP your spouse needs to write an SOP while you provide a letter of explanation (LOE). You can use this medium to provide any explanation whatsoever that would be helpful in your application while sighting why you haven't thought about changing your name after marriage would also suffice briefly. It will end in praise. |
Oluwayemisi0507:Thanks for the warm welcome wishes. The requirement for the NSE program is a minimum of six (6) months Mybank Statement Certificate and one year regular banking history. I hope his clarifies your concerns. It will end in praise |
Skilad54:There is no stipulated time frame a spouse open work permit takes for finalization. The recent approvals from my end takes about 4 months. Though, there are other applicants whose spouse applications are taking longer than expected (1year) and yet there seems to be no update from IRCC. Above all, it actually depends on applicant's case and how easily IRCC can verify information. It will end in praise |
davo99:What you're saying on your CIC account is completely "Normal". When an application has been approved by IRCC, the profile of the applicant will still be reading "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements". Nonetheless, upon the receipt of the counterfoil with the duration of your visa on your profile, the eligibility review and background check will be updated as completed with it's respective processing dates. Watch out for the above changes soon! It will end in praise |
ibrahim:It has to be done where both spouse have legal permit. In that case, that can be within or outside Nigeria. It will end in praise |
LegitPikin:No it's not an issue. However, it's very imperative to include the other aforementioned documents to buttress the legitimacy of your marriage. It will end in praise |
TeeMade:Thanks for letting me know you're a sister I'll do well to address you properly in my subsequent correspondence with you on this platform.. Yes, I did had a good rest during the holidays thanks for your kind gesture. It will end in praise |
Longjonjoe:You can contact IRCC via the Nairobi Webform. Make it a routine to contact them thrice a week and in the mail you should request for the finalization of your application. It will end in praise |
angels1:Well, i have given a detailed breakdown of the documents needed to establish proof of relationship for married couples. For immigration purposes, pictures go a long to strengthen other supporting documents. Sometimes you can't tell what the immigration officer would be looking out for, so if there is photos it doesn't cost her anything to include it with her application. It will end in praise |
Amycanada:I will guide you through your immigration journey to Canada and with grace being by your side you will be successful. However, my professional advice for you is to seek admission at University of Regina than an undergraduate diploma at College of the North Atlantic, Newfoundland and Labrador. My reason being that your chances of approval success is very slim with the aforementioned College. I want to believe its because the school is cheap, hence you selected it as your preferred option. On the other hand, I'm giving you my own personal advice to ignore applying for your visa with the school. When you've successfully gained admission for a direct program at University of Regina, come back here for assistance and I'll gladly put you in the right direction. It will end in praise. |
mcobex:My brother, I couldn't even finish responding to the concerns of applicants outside of the thread before i went for the holiday break. As I'm talking to you, you can't believe that i have over 100 emails to respond to Thank you all for your understanding as we continue to assist you with your immigration matters. It will end in praise |
Adeelijah17:I'll be in touch with you soon. Let me attend to all the posts quoted with my moniker on the thread. More so, I will appreciate it if you can ask your questions here so others who share similar concerns as yours would learn and make the most of the advices given. It will end in praise. |
tracy0803409: tracy0803409:First and foremost, i would like to congratulate you on your acceptance into a designated learning institution in Canada. Secondly, there are lots of drawbacks associated with applying with your entire family as most often, visa officers have this notion that such applicant is using study permit as a means to relocate with the family to Canada rather than educational advancement. In view of this submission, I will prefer you apply alone and upon the successful assessment (approval) of your application, you can apply for your child and spouse to accompany you to Canada. With this info on file, it will be much more easier to convince the visa officer that you're a bonafide student and would return to your family (spouse and kid) after studies. On second thought, if you're financially buoyant crowned with adequate ties (landed properties, buildings, investments in the bank etc), you can apply with your family. I can hardly count the number of successful applicants I know who filed for a family application and were approved of their visas. Conclusively, i will advice you utilize the NSE program when applying for your visa. It will end in praise |
richG:The letter of introduction for the principal applicant is sufficient for the accompanying dependant son. She should proceed to submit their passports for visa issuance. It will end in praise. |
Rudy23:The closing balance as stated by IRCC should be 30,000CAD. It will end in praise |
adeniyi3971:Fantastic!, you can make the explanation more elaborate by explaining to the immigration authorities how you garnered experience during your work with the food company while participating in the compulsory NYSC which stimulated your interest to further your post graduate studies in Food Technology. You can also mention some of the challenges you've experienced first-hand in the food industry in Nigeria which you have ardent desire to improve upon your return to Nigeria. I believe this makes sense. All the best with your NYSC program. It will end in praise |
Tre20:You've a great deal of work to do in your application, most especially when establishing strong ties with your home country. Given that your entire family (parents and siblings) are resident of an European Country, you're better off showing that you've immovable assets in your name with valuation report, as well as briefly discuss about your plans of getting married to your fiancee immediately after the completion of your studies. Attach relevant documents like engagement photos etc. Your future career prospects and goals after studies would also be a strong point to bank upon as motivation to depart from Canada. It will end in praise. |
Babyboy2020:With an HND certification, her best option to show academic progression is going for a Post Graduate Certificate in an area of study that is in tandem with her previous education and/or current work experience. It will end in praise |
Babyboy2020:Thanks very much boss @Babyboy2020. I'm doing very well thanks for asking. Thanks once again to everyone for the warm welcome wishes. Its a pleasure being in the midst of great minds and contributing my quota for the better good of this platform and her people. It will end in praise. |
JustMellow:I'm doing very well brother and you?. I took a break over the holidays. However, I have resumed fully to contribute my quota as usual. I appreciate your kind assistance and insightful ideas being shared on this platform during my absence. Together, we shall make a remarkable difference and great impact in the lives of prospective applicants. It will end in praise |
Summe:Your spouse would apply for spousal open work permit (SOWP). You need to provide legal documents to prove that you're legally married to him. You need the following documents to establish relationship with your spouse (hubby) PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP DOCUMENTS 1. Marriage Certificate 2. Newspaper change of name 3. Throw back family pictures 4. Snap shot of WhatsApp video call or messages for the last six months (if any). 5. Wedding photos. I hope this information is helpful to your enquiry. It will end in praise |
adeniyi3971: adeniyi3971:Please can you educate me more about your current work experience and previous studies. Is Food Science Technology in tandem with your choice of program in Canada?. Your answer will determine my advice for your immigration matters. It will end in praise |
lovecares34:With your sense of desperation to leave Nigeria, I hope you don't fall into the wrong hands as there are lots of agents on the streets looking for the slightest opportunity to defraud people of their hard earned money. I reiterate, you can't travel to Canada with only 500k, there is no such immigration program. It will end in praise |
Winner0718:Its highly advisable that you should provide a written explanation and verifiable proof as to any large deposit that came into your account towards the submission of your application. My professional advice for you is to clearly state in your LOE that your sponsor have transfered/deposited the sum of 4M into your account for your living expenses and to show his readiness to sponsor your education in Canada. It will end in praise |
lovecares34:This must be the most hilarious question of the year . Pardon my manners, 500k can only pay for your flight itinerary. The lowest tuition fee for international student in Canada is between 8KCAD to 13KCAD which is equivalent to 2.5M to 4M. It doesn't stop there, you also need to show proof of your first year living expenses in the amount of 10KCAD.It will end in praise. |
Yyum:Treasury bill investment account is not an eligible POF for study permit application. I will advice you use the regular bank statement which will demonstrate your financial strength to cover for the proposed studies in Canada. It will end in praise |
Collins4u1:College Diploma and Equivalent is the right answer for your case. It will end in praise |
