Jermaie0009: Me oh ...July 1st Have you requested for the visa officer's case notes (GCMS NOTES) to be aware of what's stalling the application from reaching a conclusive decision? In the event that you're yet to do so, I will recommend you order for your file as soon as possible. Once you've received it, do well to share with the knowledgeable members of this thread, so we can tell you the actual facts of your application. It will end in praise. |

bisolaemilia: Thanks a lot for your response.
Tired of waiting for a response since I submitted on the 17th of July.
Is there anyone who submitted in July without a feedback yet? I believe an upfront medical would be the best decision as your application has taken longer than expected. I know of an applicant whose application took a very long time without any update from IRCC. I advised him to proactively opt for upfront medicals, which he did and it resulted to an approval of his application last week. Accordingly, I'll advise you do same. After the medical exams, you can send a copy of the E-medical slip via this medium: IRCC WEBFORM NAIRAOBIIt will end in praise |

olasubomy: Thanks boss , what of the actual amount for transmission fee for VFS Abuja @ Insanity was not quite sure if its N7430. I intend to pay now. You pay this fee N7430 only on the account that you didn't capture your biometrics in the Visa application centre. I will advice you pay two way courier, in this case you wouldn't have to pay for any transmission fee. It will end in praise |

bisolaemilia: Hi Guys,
I am doing my upfront medical soon at Q-life.
Please what do I need to take there? Also is there anything I would have to send to IRCC after the medicals myself or it’s the clinic that would send to IRCC?
Also how long does it take for IRCC to evaluate the medical result? For upfront medical exam, you need to take along with you the following documents; 1. Original of your international passport. 2. Proof of payment for upfront medical exam After the completion of your medical exam, you will be given an E-medical slip which bears your UMEI number. You will be required to send a copy of the E-medical slip via the IRCC webform, so that it will be uploaded in your application. Q-life takes about 5 days to send your medical result to IRCC through the designated panel Physician platform. It will end in praise |

olasubomy: Yes i got request for NSE to submit mybankstatement certificate but my sponsor bank (Standard Chartered) which had the major fund is not on the mybankstatement platform.
What i did was to get another printed copy of the statement showing transaction for 1 year and got the bank to stamp all the pages and was able to convince the bank to send the statement via courier to the Canadian embassy in Lagos and quote my applicaton and UCI no on the waybill.
So i uploaded a one page letter of explanation ( notifying the VO that Standard Chartered is not on mybankstatement platform) reason this was sent by courier. + uploaded the waybill tracking sheet (UPS) + stamped soft copy of that same bank statement +mybank statement certificate ( for my own salary account - Stanbic IBTC) and submitted.
That was the initiative i took. Wow! What a great news to start the day. Your incessant complaints and worries towards your application was overwhelming to me which I almost got worn out, as we exchanged almost 50 emails , responding to every of your concerns and be sure that your application is in good condition. 1oak: Congratulations to everyone who has successfully gotten their study permit approved. I’m a late September applicant and got refused yesterday. All appropriate documents submitted, two pages sop which I believe was solid enough, 26 years old, applied for another Bsc, I have a a first degree in tourism management which I never used for work, I’m fully into business now, and I applied for a Bsc in Business administration, I showed all my business documents and sponsors documents. I am willing to reapply again and possibly defer my admission till Spring 2021, please how soon should I reapply. Also I already passed Medicals for this current application will I need to do another Medicals I wish to get the study permit on my second trial . Thank you. I regret to hear about the outcome of your application. Given that your application was refused based on your purpose of visit to Canada, I will suggest that you put more effort in constructing a persuasive and concise SOP/LOE that will demonstrate that you're a bona-fide applicant and would depart upon the completion of your studies. The Letter of Explanation should extensively and convincingly explain the lucrativeness and reasonableness of such program (BSc in Business Administration) in your home country considering it's exorbitant tuition fees. If it is financially rewarding back here in Nigeria that can offest the cost of the program in Canada. The range of opportunities the program in Canada will bring to you as a person. What you intend to achieve in a short-term and long-term basis. Since you claim to have a registered and functioning business, you should clearly state that this business is of utmost importance to you, and going to Canada is solely to advance your career prospects so you could expand your business into a global brand. More importantly, you should emphasize on the difference you will make when you return to your country e.g you being a business consultant in the long-term by providing critical business solutions to multinational companies and government as well as using your business for creation of wide range of employment opportunities for teeming youths in your home country etc... I hope this information helps. Also, order for your GCMS notes, so we could have a clearer picture about your refusal. It will end in praise |

Good day Sirs/Mas,
Please I want to ask what are the chances of the V.O requesting for bank statement behind the applicant even after submitting documents?
As usual, your prompt response appreciated. The responsible immigration officer is requesting for a MyBank Statement with ticket ID and password so as to enable them to effortlessly verify the authenticity of the PA's statement without waiting for verification mail from the bank. The MyBank Statement Certificate is usually raised on behalf of the Canadian Embassy, hence, they can dictate fraudulent financial statements. It will end in praise |

Since you've gone ahead to pay for the IELTS exam, get your results and upload a copy of your test report form via IRCC webform and advice IRCC as to the reason why you're unable to provide the MyBank Statement with ticket ID and Password from your bank in Nigeria. TeeMade: Thanks for this post @JustMellow. That your sponsor's bank does not offer the requested MyBankStatement Certificate, is that reason cogent enough?
I'm asking becuase my hubby is my sponsor and First Bank does not offer this type of statement but my bank offers it and we have a joint account in a bank that offers it too. The only challenge is that these 2 banks does not contain all my proof of financial support which I submitted with my application but they have the 30k CAD combined. The remaining PoF are in several other financial institutions in investment accounts like local & foreign shares, asset management etc.
What do you advise please? Can i still opt for the normal processing channel? My sincere apologies for the late reply... I trust my fellow capable member (Justmellow) was able to address your questions. Considering that your Sponsor's bank does not offer the MyBank Statement with ticket ID and password. I'll suggest you inform the responsible immigration office via the IRCC webform and appeal that your application should be processed through the regular channels. I don't think its logical to transfer the funds in other account just to make up the 30kcad. Let me know if you've any other questions It will end in praise |

Babhydoll: Advanced biotechnology (fast track) in centennial college. Depending on your previous qualification it would be used to determine whether it’s a normal diploma certificate or a post graduate diploma certificate. For example if you’ve a Bsc already then you’ll get a PGD and if it’s after a high school grade you get a post secondary diploma. Got this information from someone who attended centennial studying advanced biotechnology I already advised the op that going for an Advanced biotechnology (fast track) in centennial college will NOT affect her chances as there is an academic progression. Obynne1: @pee2jay9 @frankrobbn1 & others plz help
Please I received a Letter requesting for my bank statement and ielts result on or before 30days from the day of the receipt. My questions are;
1. How much is required to be in the acct before submission when the person has already paid the complete sch fees?
2. Must it be the applicants acct statement or any relatives?
3. Failure to submit the ielts result and my bank statement, will it affect the application processing?
4. Can I resubmit the same acct statement(proof of funds) I submitted when applying?
Please help me, I'm really anxious See my responses below;1. The requirement for the NSE program is that you must have 30KCAD which is equivalent to 9.1M in Naira. You have to show evidence of this money by providing a MyBank Statement with ticket ID and password from a commercial bank in Nigeria as well as a one year bank history. 2. The Mybank Statement can be generated from either in your Sponsor's name or applicant's name. 3. There are no penalties for non-compliance. Failure to submit the required documents for the NSE program, your application will continue to be processed in the regular processing manner. 4. You need to provide an updated POF, which will be dated recently. I hope this information helps. It will end in praise. |

please is Advance Biotechnology a post graduate certificate program,
i did microbiology for my HND and science laboratory technology for ND, although i had a different work experience as a data analyst, i have already been given admission for Advance Biotechnology 3622 in centennial college, will it be a concern for when applying for study visa even though it a 2 year course Biotechnology - Advanced Fast Track - Optional Co-OP at Centennial College is not a Post Graduate Diploma program. However, the requirement for admission is similar to a PGD. I don't believe it should be an issue in your visa application if you're able to explain your reasons for opting for the program and list out some of the courses you did during your undergraduate studies that are relevant to your choice of program. JustMellow: Hello Frankrobbn1,
Like you already know, Academic Institution and Immigration are two separate entity. Academic institution literally don't accept IELTS General as a valid/thorough assessment but Immigration would accept IELTS Academic, ONLY if its via the Study route.
Meaning, any of both for applicants immigrating through the study route would essentially suffice to meet the need. NSE is an imitation of SDS which accepts IELTS General for the Stream even when the purpose of travel is noted as study.
I am of the strong opinion that same is applicable for NSE program because the IELTS as part of the program requirements was categorically SPECIFIC by the use of "OR" without sub-specifying.
How's the goings bro?!
Cheers! Well at this point, our opinion on this matter might not be fact-based until I receive further information from IRCC on either of the two modules (Academics and General), which is the most preferred option. I'm doing good bro and everything is progressing to the glory of God. Thanks for asking. I pray your plans matures soonest. Best wishes! It will end in praise |

My point is that applying to cheaper institutions especially College in the Atlantic Province dramatically decreases your chances of success. It will end in praise |
