What does Ekiti means in Benin

See eh just that we have edoids in Yoruba land but I think due to the fact of being a minority tribe, the lost their language. It could be that the migrated to the present ado ekiti but due to the fact that the were all round surrounded by the Yoruba's and intermarriage with the Yoruba's too, the lost their first edoid language... Same can be said about Ilorin case

They only thing I know for sure now is that boundary communities in arochukwu speak Ibibio maybe because of long interaction also boundary community in akwaibom/cross river speak Igbo and also answer igbo_like names maybe because of long interactions too

The truth is in the past, many kingdoms were conquered. Some happened even more than 2000years ago. So how such are u that u are100% from ur tribe and that ur ancestors didn't migrate nor were conquered and then forgot their aboriginal language

The reason y they denied being Igbos is just because of Oil. Same reason itshekiri denies being Yoruba.

The truth is ikwerres, ekpeyes, etches, and other igboid sub-groups are pure blooded Igbos... My grandfather told me some of their migration history but let me not go into that now.

Do u know that Igbo as a language has over 20dialets. I bearly understand the ohafia, ngwa, nsukka and abakiliki dialect. But I understand the anioma and etches dialect very very well. So u see

I have something to say. Some weeks back many threads were opened on how ikwerres and other igboid Riveriens weren't Igbos and were mere descendants of Benin. Many Yoruba like henicules supported that calling Igbos land grabbers who were only interested in their oil. Also some yorubas also called igbos landlocked and then said port haucourt(ikwere land) can't be Igbo land...then all of a sudden now, kwara is now Yoruba land...isn't that hypocrisy?.. How do u feel when a part of u denies being part of you just because of mere start creation??.. In a saner climate, kwara should have been in SW because Fulani's were mere visitors not aborigines...... U see 1 thing about Nigeria and state creation.. Na pure scam. Divide and rule system.....
