PoliticsRe: When Will EFCC Investigate Ben Murray-Bruce's NTA Tenure? by Franzeez(m): 5:20am On Dec 11, 2015
Rossikk:
First of all, you wretch, I'm probably old enough to be your father. Secondly, I've no idea what 419 "digitalisation" and "satellites" you are yammering about, when the quality of NTA is such a joke. The sum of N8 billion given Bruce remains unaccounted for. He managed NTA for 8 years, did next to nothing there, and emerged from that role a multimillionaire in dollars, having been a regular guy in a flat in Lagos prior. Oh...and his own TV station, Silverbird TV, became what NTA should have been.. He then built the massive Silverbird Galleria in Abuja, which cost countless millions of dollars. Care to tell us where his sudden riches came from after NTA?

Maybe he'll tell us on Twitter.
One thing I know is I will buy you and your family and get a balance. You know nothing little kid... Get back to your books.
PoliticsRe: Nairaland Says No To Secessionists by Franzeez(m): 1:36am On Dec 11, 2015
Seun:
Fellow Nairalanders,

Nairaland loves Igbos and Niger Deltans very much. The thought of being separated from them for any reason is unbearable to us, so we have decided that we will reject any attempt by anyone to use Nairaland to promote the idea of removing Igbos and Niger Deltans from Nigeria.

We have updated rule 9 of Nairaland to reflect this decision. It now says:

I'd like to urge all Nairaland members to respect and obey rule 9. Mynd44 is in charge of enforcing it. If you break this rule, you'll be banned.

Thanks,
Seun (Founder Of Nairaland).
I am not Igbo, but u messed up with this post.

Rossikk:
If you give a man millions of dollars to upgrade NTA and at the end of his tenure, NTA is even worse than it was when he went there, it means he STOLE THE MONEY. At the very least, he MISMANAGED it, for which he must GIVE ACCOUNT before posting this HOLIER THAN THOU RUBBISH ON TWITTER.

Erm... no I don't, you ignorant dunce. So Bruce's theft must be excused on the grounds that ''we all steal''? So if that is the case, what is he doing on twitter claiming to love the masses? Criticising other politicians? You cannot rob the masses blind and then claim to love them. Or is your brain not working well? Dullard.

You must have a very low IQ to be defending theft. If that is the case then you are a crook just like Bruce.
Who digitalised NTA? Who put NTA on satellites and cables? The impact of Ben Bruce to NTA is one of the best ever. I know you are one small teenager who really knows nothing, but just accept you have no point.
PoliticsRe: Nairaland Forum Is 4 Nigerians! It's Not Owned By Nigerians! It's Owned By Seun by Franzeez(m): 1:16am On Dec 11, 2015
Strahovski:
I have seen so many threads about Seun decision but I am in full support! Those saying Seun should be sued for violating human right are wasting their time! You cannot come to to a forum the young man established for nigerians and start promoting secession.. wishing the fall of his home.... Trash talking. really?

I've been asking myself when is Seun going to take a stand on this?

Nairaland.com is owned by the one and only Seun Osewa it's not a Plc or an Ltd that you sue for human right. It belongs to him. He gets to choose whatever stays on his site.

You cannot enforce your belongings in another man's house can you? Can someone force himself in your house? No! So same thing. This is his house... we are guests... (advertisers are tenants) this is his club. ..we are only partying and he xan choose what music is to be played!

So please get over it and follow the rules of Nairaland. Those saying free speech... that only happens if it's a plc where it's for for everybody. It's not a plc!

So mods please help Seun effect the law and Nairalanders help uphold the law
Stop fussing, if you wanna put a bet, we can bring down Nairaland in 1 day. It has been done before and can be done again... Erase all the data and all this mouth is gone...

A wise man once said, "He who comes to equity must come with clean hands". I hope you don't need an interpreter in pidgin or your native language to break that down for you.

I can't believe folks are saying a man can steal millions from public funds and then cover it up by turning Twitter Champion of the masses.

Really, are Nigerians this dumb?
People like you are the problem of Nigeria. I am sure you are half baked, probably you cheated all through your education and social life. If you did not, you should know the importance of Ben Bruce to this Nation APC or PDP. What fact do you have that he stole a dime? Don't you steal? Lie that you have never stolen? Someone like you stole things like even your grades thereby cheating yourself.
PoliticsKogi: James Falake Rejects Dep G Returns To House Of Reps For Ikeja Constituency by Franzeez(op): 8:22pm On Dec 10, 2015
MUCH FOR FEW

James Faleke, Jagaban's envoy to Kogi, has returned to the Federal House of Reps to take his seat as Honourable Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in Lagos after his mission was buried by circumstances.

With his caper failed, he defied the party supremacy which his political boss championed and has claimed being both gov-elect and Member House of Reps. But by virtue of INEC's decision, he nominally holds two political seats as House of Reps member and official dep. gov-elect. Hehehe!

Isn't APC such a wonderfully generous party, giving individuals two positions at a go? For instance, Buhari is President and Minister for Petroleum; Ibe Kachikwu is NNPC GMD and Minister of State for Petroleum. And Fashola combines a huge fraction of next year's budget under an omnibus 3-in-1 Ministry.

This overconcentration of a wide range of functions in too few hands means there's either a shortage of competent people in APC or, more likely, there's a significant shortage of trustworthy people who can be entrusted with important duties.
Whichever way, efficiency will suffer.

Complain to the biafra governors and stop being a tribal warlord. don't you know that Nigeria is one ? I believe in the Nigeria project.

I have brainstormed about Biafra, as a Yoruba man I just wanna say, I think this is a matter of National interest, which requires absolute care, if the government does anyhow with it, it could cause another Instability, loss of life and property.
I see people who are soaked in their belief, radicalised and won't give up unless they die or actualise their aim.
I know some people will come and rubbish this as nonsense but let's remember one thing there is no burning bush that does not start without a small little flame.
As for we Yorubas, I hope our cowardice does not lead us to extinction and mediocrity.

uchennamani:
let me tell you the novel thing this PVC did to our electoral system-it has reduced to the barest minimum the amount of irregularities that always mar our elections and it is in agreement with common sense and logic. Since inec has introduced the pvcs and made it compulsory for accreditation before the actual votes are to be casted, it certainly means that a polling unit cannot have a total number of vote cast that is higher than those that collected their pvs and thus were accredited. Do you think that Inec just came with the pvcs out of the blues, it was sufficiently back legally
That is not the issue the court will act on, the court will act on what the electoral act of 2010 says which is registered voters
PoliticsRe: James Faleke Has Committed Political Harakiri! by Franzeez(m): 7:18am On Dec 01, 2015
uchennamani:
if you are a lawyer or a law student, then something very grave is wrong with the standard of our legal education.
You are the one who is a illiterate and who knows nothing about the law. Give me a reference to any law that recognises PVC? If you can't then you are simply out of point. PVC is only a step to actualisation of your power to vote, the paw can't make any reference to PVC, no lawyer will dare it.... There is no law in Nigeria that talks PVC, prove me wrong....
PoliticsRe: James Faleke Has Committed Political Harakiri! by Franzeez(m): 7:13am On Dec 01, 2015
uchennamani:
You are pardoned because you are not a lawyer. He will reclaim his mandate in the court. Just keep this in mind. Well, I can as well tell you the position of the law on the issue. Prince Audu was leading the incumbent governor with more than 45,000 votes at the time he died. Inec has reasons to believe that elections in some 99 polling units were marred with irregularities and therefore cancelled the votes casted in those units. The cancelled units have a combined number of over 49,000 votes. But here is the drill that made this election interesting. From last years' elections, inec introduced the pvcs that the electorate use to accredit themselves before the actual voting. Out of those 49,000 that were to vote in the supplementary election, only about 25,000 collected their pvcs thus making them eligible to vote. Even if all of them vote for the PDP, prince Audu will still emerge the winner because of his superior margin. Inec shouldn't have declared the election inconclusive. They should have declared the apc candidate the winner of the election. That inec didn't do that does not change this fact. In the eyes of the law, Prince Audu was the governor elect the time he died. Section 181 of the constitution is clear on what should happen if the governor elect dies before taking the oath of office and allegiance. The deputy governor will become the governor elect and will nominate a new deputy governor. I will send you a pm when Faleke reclaims his mandate through the court. Thank you.
Is the issue of PVC contained in any electoral act and law, why should the court judge based on the PVC when the electoral laws only recognises registered voters not PVC holdershuh If our electoral laws stipulates PVC holders as the basis for making an election inconclusive then you have a point, but no electoral law or even the Nigerian constitution says that PVC holders is what count but what it states is registered voters... Have you ever gone to a tribunal to argue in the context of PVC card holders? Never! What counts is the registered Voters... Holding a PVC or not holding a PVC does not change one fact of registered voters. It is up to a citizen to exercise his franchise by picking up his voter card as long as he or she is a registered voters.

Reasons why I advocate for a ban.

1. She didn't verify the information

2. She encourages Nigerians to share a seeming defeat of the NA by boko haram. Very unpatriotic!

3. She's too desperate (like other hungry bloggers) to buy a house like Linda Ikeji at the cost of misleading Nigerians
