You mean they should have supported Jonathan and PDP for them not to be treacherous?
But TINUBU was never in PDP. supporting PDP and Jonathan would have been treacherous.
But wait a minute. Where would PDP presidential candidate come from in 2019? From the south east or the north.
If from the north, would it be treacherous for any south easterner to vote for a northern candidate of their party?
Bode George , as usual, has allowed hatred to distort his thinking faculty.
As per the north, buhari will only undermine himself if he tries to undermine TINUBU . Iit is not also true that SARAKI and his co-conspirators have won.
It is just round one of a 15 round match. What TINUBU is doing right now is the ROPER DOPER strategy Mohammed Ali used against George foreman.
ALLOW YOUR OPPONENT TO BOX HIMSELF OUT IN THE EARLY ROUND AND VIRTUALLY KNOCK HIMSELF OUT.
PDP IDIOTIC COMMENTATORS AND BODE TEWONDE GEORGE JUST DON'T AND CAN'T GET IT.
Another daft follower of Tinubu sprewing rubbish. Stupidly comparing boxing to Politics
PoliticsBuhari: Less Than 2 Months Into Power, Popularity Shrinks.- Franzeez by Franzeez(op): 1:14am On Jul 06, 2015
There is a saying that, no hunter goes to the evil forest unprepared. As the race for the presidency heated up last year, many Nigerians were clear that there must be a change in govt, GEJ enjoyed a wide popularity for most of 4 years into his 6 year reign, Nigerians were patient, but inspite of his distinction in aspects such as infrastructure, economy, agriculture, employment where are clearly visible, his govt was below par in the fight for corruption and most important in security. Time has come and gone and a new govt is elected, it must be stated clear that Nigerians Voted this government because of a believe that a plan is in place to cover the loopholes of the previous govt as soon as possible.
Nigerians instead of being welcomed with positive news about their reason for voting Buhari are rather being welcomed by a more relaxed army and more Book Haram attacks that looks ever increasing. A slack government that has entered power with little or no same enthusiasm like they showed in the campaign. Some might argue it is to early I say No, it might be too Early to see a 100percent project but it is too late to show signs of seriousness. My humble confession is that this government is dropping its acceptance and popularity, they should have known that the situation in Nigeria is urgent and Nigerians won't given then time.

Shut ur trap fool. The promotions were made for political reasons to favour those fools that promoted Jonah-daft ambition shamelessly and not because they are really due for it. Promotions happens towards the end of the year and not March. The General was right to have corrected that abnormally that has caused serious grumblings within the service itself.

Simple!

In their bid to discredit GEJ they nurtured this beast. Today it's out of their control. They should enjoy the change. They even re-elected the terrorist governor who was off in London the very next day after 276 girls were alleged to be kidnapped.
Font mind them, they reelected their governor and senators but did not even vote 3 percent for GEJ. If the people were tired of the government, all should have been voted out. Boko Haram was nurtured to oust GEJ, he is gone but Boko Haram remains, even stronger, so they should be ready for it.

PoliticsRe: Accept Party Supremacy, Buhari Tells Senators, Reps by Franzeez(m): 2:58pm On Jul 03, 2015
wirelessmaster:
Bukola Saraki has mortgaged the victory of the party that was won at the highest cost. Winning an incumbent in Africa is at a great cost with a lot of people losing their lives and their investment. Some mortgaged all they worked for. He traded it with opponent. Surely, there will be a cost for betrayal. Where was he at chatham house? All the people that died in Rivers, Akwa Ibom and other states. The people that stood their ground despite AIT,NTA and other electronic and print media attacks. Those whose reputation was smeared and those elders and international communities who thought two party system is ideal for Nigeria as it had worked in Ghana.

This is not politics. Under NPN, his father Senator Olusola Saraki became the Senate Leader (Senate Majority Leader) under the NPN Machinery. In the presence of Umaru Dikko, Senator Uba Ahmed, Richard Akinjide, Akinloye, etc,his father would not have betrayed NPN even if the combined seats of the opposition of UPN, NPP and others were more than NPN.

His father dominated kwara politically and economically. All the few people that would have been very famous always died in their prime, person like Rear Admiral Lawal, Idiagbon and Adisa are all dead. Belgore tried no way. Now the son has started in another form. We shall see. Hope the 12 years effort of GMB and all the reputation and expectation from had not been traded
What is this one saying?

NgeneUkwenu:
It is very obvious to an average discerning mind, that jonathan appointed a numbskull and empty brain like himself to man a very strategic economic policy making organ of the government.

Godwin Emefiele is the most incompetent CBN governor to have occupied that post!
This very man saw to the devaluation and deprectiating of the naira from 157 naira to 230 Naira to a dollar within the space of 1 year!!

This man is a disaster to the economy, I think as long as he remains there as the Governor, Nigerian should forget about the word called Change
Buhari Sack him now!

The Economists Mocks Godwin Emefiele, The CBN Governor:

THE ECONOMIST believes it's weird for Nigeria to place a forex ban on toothpick, sardines and 38 other items.

READ: CBN Stops the Sale of Forex for 40 Items [SEE LIST]

CENTRAL bankers may talk in martial terms of defending currencies against bloodthirsty speculators, but they seldom suffer wounds more grievous than a bruising of their egos. They can, however, cause untold harm to economies, as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is doing in puffing up its exchange rate.

The naira has been hit hard by a fall in the price of oil, Nigeria’s main export. The official exchange rate has slumped by almost 20% over the past year to about 196 naira per dollar. The black market rate, a more accurate gauge, is close to 230. Instead of allowing the naira to devalue, the central bank is trying to defend it by blocking imports. It has drawn up a list of disfavoured goods, and will not grant foreign exchange to import them.

Godwin Emefiele, the governor of the central bank, said he wants to conserve foreign reserves (which have fallen by about a fifth over the past year and now cover only six months of imports) and stimulate local production. “Nigeria cannot attain its true [potential] by simply importing everything,” he said.

The hit list appears to have been drawn up by someone wandering around a home and a building site and randomly pointing at items. It includes Indian incense, toothpicks and wire rods as well as more obvious luxuries such as private jets (demand for which could be slashed by simply barring government officials from flying in them). It also includes basics such as rice and tinned fish. Nigeria does not produce enough of these things to feed itself, but no matter. The nation must be shielded from foreign sardines.

Economists find the policy baffling. Central banks usually prop up their currencies if they are worried about inflation, or allow them to devalue to depress imports and stimulate exports. Nigeria, by contrast, appears to be set on achieving both an uncompetitive exchange rate and higher inflation. Whereas many investors were impressed by the previous CBN governor, Lamido Sanusi, who was sacked for exposing corruption, they fret about the harm being inflicted by the current one. Some wonder which would be worse for Nigeria: allowing him to serve the remaining four years of his term or undermining the independence of the central bank by sacking him.

In Saudi Arabia gay men have had their head chopped off by the state.

Have you seen Obama or any past US President condemn Saudi Arabia over their treatment of gays?

Why do you think the US respects Saudi conservative society and laws but looks down on us in Africa when we include our traditional beliefs and customs on Homosexuality in our statute books?

They have a template they use. They will also type and stamp it for you.
Hi Bossladymo1, thanks for your contributions. I have someone who is willing to get to Australia, he is married with one kid, he is an electrical and electronic engineer, he has over 5 years of working experience in his field with telecom companies in Nigeria. He suddenly resigned and wants to move to Aussie, he contacted me but I sincerely have no idea of the process for his case. Pls any advice?

Best response from a nairalander over the helipad saga.

Re: FG Builds Helipad For Buhari In Daura by Rawani: 7:48am
Building a helipad which will allow the President fly to Daura directly from the villa will be a cheaper option than using the Eagle One Presidential jet to first fly to Katsina and then moving the entire convoy by road to Daura, a trip that is repeated for his return as well.

Let's keep in mind that the soil in Otueke is loamy, in contrast to the sandy Daura soil which would raise dust when landing that could disastrously block the pilots visibility. The construction cost of a helipad is about N2 million.

This is a 'clueful' decision which is highly efficient, especially as it significantly reduces the cost of governance.
2 million naira cannot even build a fence talkless of a helipad. I see you love PMB so much that you can't think.
