PoliticsRe: Nigeria Warns Kenya Over Deportation Of Official by frederal(m): 3:21pm On Oct 19, 2013
Mr McJay: Imagine Nigeriens and Chadians coming into Nigeria's federal capital and chasing Nigeria's President GEJ about like a thief, with him shouting 'terrorist attacks happen everywhere'.

We should expect more insults until we elect a proper leader. My President is not fit to lead cows not to talk of humans. QED.
You are a fool...and a cow..you're not a human. Find your way to the push. Pray you become even a councillor in life and see things for youreslf.

Boko haram is slaughtering for religion, and you don't have psychos who do so in America in the name of the Lord? The CT shooting? Oh, of course you are FALSELY encouraging immigrants, so why mention that to them. Afterall, AMERICA IS PERFECT!

85% of people live in worse places? LMAO WOW the way you COME UP with your MAGIC numbers. Citation? References? I am waiting for TANGIBLE thoroughly researched EVIDENCE

You and the guy who claims magnet research is science, I don't know who is worse. I guess it's a nigerian thing huh, not having concrete facts[/quote]Mr man, u again! My jacket sells for $200 in gap shop,$160 online and I got it $90 on sale.....But I will advise he buys his shirts and tops in naija too
You are right, online purchase gives the best prices.
Try also " shoeme.ca" and Ebay. I bought a timberland boot at amazing price at shoeme.ca

TravelRe: You want to COME TO AMERICA - Do You REALLY Know America? by frederal(m): 11:03pm On Oct 04, 2013
To who it may concern:
Yes, you are an American passport holder;
You are not an immigrant;
You bought a car(cash) at 19;
You scored 600+ on SAT;
You are not fustrated;
You are 21 years;
You have all the facts about America right;
....nice qualities.
Let me add that you are a FOOL..ARROGANT....for lacking virtues like tolerance, love, forgiveness
You virtually insulted everybody that has a different perspective from yours.
I know guys like SIGA encouraging and helping people who wants to come to Canada...based on same reality: Theres better opportunity abroad.
Won't you encourage them to come, even if they don't make million, they acquire a better mentality than the one you described as "poor."

TECNO really deployed lots of marketers here in NL, just like APC abi na ACN.
Anyway the way people feel na, that's the one you can afford, because u can't choose that over SAMSUNG, IPHONE, LG, NOKIA LUMINA, e.t.c

teexzle: Lwkm..na werin we pay 4 b that..
Their normal conversation is like a rap session, so rapping doesn't seem like genius to me anymore, unless it has good lyric.
I was talking with one, come end my question with "abi?", she said pardon, I come realise na Oyibo.
But oyibo people(Canadians) are angels...willing and like to help. The only thing(in my mind) they're not generous with is money.
One I don't like is this guy and his gf, even in lecture session, they murmur, whisper and the guy fondles her hair. Immediately the instructor go say, 10 mins break, 2 of them don jump commot. I imagine wetin dem go dey do for corner. In all, dem too much.

There is a messege in my inbox, it goes.." Donot be afraid to do whatever you want to do."
Its a big inspiration to me, it reminds me of my mum, who also told me, " have a strong heart."
And the text was sent to me by one and only...Sir Siga. Fhemmy has met with him and was inspired by his personality and hadto come here to say that. From distance he has touched me, I have really opened and read the message many times.
I'm grateful, SIGA

kjbobo: As I much as I agree with you on the need to be prepared. ..dont let us over stress this thing to scare people....As much as Naija unis arent practical oriented. ...they fortify your retentive ability....I dont know the school you finished from but I wont classify Ife as rubbish....Its a great school that has built me....functioning with little resources....Look at how much funding these guys here recieve from Agencies?And check out their endowment fund?compare to one of my profs in Ife receiving 10000 naira per session for research?Me honestly speaking,dont believe these guys are more intelligent than my lecturers back home. ...they are just trying!
The challenge most people I believe will have when they come is adjusting back to academic life....cos we don comot from school long ago except for the extremely unserious one....
Cos come to think of it.....the studying condition is too conducive for an average serious Nigerian not to do well....And I have been following my pals here and in U.S...na As all through. ..most of them. ..in fact clearing awards...I look at my environment now compared to back in Ife....And I trying to psyche myself up that its tough here but my mind keeps telling me to face the truth..."this is small potatoes compared to naija"
There is light,there's 24 hr internet access,there's assurance of 3 square meal....infact in my case i have an "office" furnished with study corner,system and lounge(filled with stuff to eat in school) and all i need do is study!I dont see it as tough....i see it as switching back to school mode for those that went to decent schools back home and were serious!
My advice:switch back to reading mode...be more practical and thinking oriented....never think these guys are more intelligent than us(what I found out?,they can talk in class but depth no too dey for a couple of them grin),be grateful to God for your naija experience!
Cos when I speak in class. ..dem sef dey listen!
Lastly,Believe and never fear that you are coming here to be the best.....not to just study!target the skies maybe you will fall on tree top.....Trust in God....and work.....Success is inevitable!
You are right, Kjbobo.

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 4 by frederal(m): 1:13am On Sep 27, 2013
oraclefemi: Here is a newcomer advice
I arrived in Canada Sept , currently in Centennial college centre for creative communications for a course in interactive digital media
If youre not prepared to study please dont come here at all, ive been loaded with assignments up to my neck,forget the rubbish you were taught in nigeria and this is a new start for you, i studied computer science and right now i feel like i wasted my first 4 yrs.
Advice 1. Learn how to use microsoft applications as much as you can because you will need it for submitting your assignments and also for presentations, you can also use prezi.com , it has helped me a lot because as a computer science graduate of a Nigerian university we didnt get the basic knowledge and i admit i didnt build myself, i just crammed the jargons and graduated.Learn how to use MAC computers, not a necessity but its ideal for you cause most of my classes we use a mac to follow what is being displayed through the projector. I already have a mac book pro from nigeria cause i had a passion for media and its the best machine for it.
Advice 2. Discard that shyness and be ready to ask questions , talk and approach your professors,they are willing to help . These guys are practically begging me to learn, they keep me asking me to ask them questions.. for naija you no fit follow your lecturer talk anyhow or even your prof.Again i have to repeat this, you will have to work hard cause youre coming from a lower level of learning in our rubbish universities to a fast pace learning process and this might be funny but watch a lot of american movies and catch how they talk and converse in their accents,they speak fast and they believe you are following what they say.. its funny but its real.
Whatever course youre coming for , have a passion for it,i know most of us got courses relating to what JAMB choose for us but this time dont make the mistake , aim for your passion and you will enjoy your learning process.

I believe your school is in Ontario, so what method did you use to apply, is it through Ontariocolleges.ca; I can't understand the certificate evaluation and lots of money they use for it.

Evidence: How many guys wey don enter, start school u see on Nairaland again...
100% true. At memorial, its 65 to pass; score 50 in some pg and msc and that's the end of you in their school
