Am a little bit confused, did she commit a sin by accepting islam to avoid being butchered like a cow. I really don't know what I'll do in a situation like that. May God help us and deliver us from this muslims.

In every situation always give thanks to God. No matter what you are going through always remember to give God praise. There is a divine mystery in giving of thanks. Praising God in your time of affliction shows that you exalt God above your problems, and it moves God to deliver you from such situations. So my brothers and sisters always give thanks to God.

Okay so my body suddenly changed and I stopped requiring medication to get healed exactly the same time I decided to start claiming my healing by faith, what a coincidence!!! I love your theories anyway you are free to believe whatever u choose to believe.

rationalmind: Not all sicknesses go by themselves. Some are more chronic than others. That's the more reason I used "remission" meaning, the sickness may come back later. You have only been lucky to have the ones that have been going into remission. Like I did say, it has nothing to do with prayers.

My case is a bit similar to urs, prior to 2010, I always had malaria at least, once every 6 months and each time I had malaria, I vommitted. It however surprises me that, ever since april 2010, I have never had malaria again. infact, if you put me in a den of mosquitoes n I sleep there for 2 weeks, I won't still have malaria. Maybe my body has adapted to the malaria parasite. I really can't tell you exactly what's happening.

So, the fact uve not used drugs for two years has nothing to do wt prayers. Such things happen everytime.

I guess I now get your point. But please kindly tell everybody you know not to take any form of medication for the next 2 years

rationalmind: Always a win-win situation for God. If he had gotten healed, you would had been shouting praise master Jesus. He died, he didn't have enough faith.

Do you know sicknesses tend to go by themselves even if you don't use any drug after some time? Headaches, coughs, body pains, malaria e.t.c It has nothing to do with prayer. Its just the sickness going into remission.

Lastly, I haven't used any drug myself for three years now. So, what's your point?

If sickness tends to go by themselves then why did your friends cousin die? Do you know how many people die of malaria every year? About you not being sick for three years I can't explain that but not everyone is like that.

rationalmind: Same thing a friends cousin said when he was sick. Visit the hospital, he said no, Jesus heals. He died as a result of that sickness. Jesus failed him.

It is impossible for God to fail. His problem was that he didn't have enough faith to get his healing. Something similar also happened to me the first time I tried to believe God for divine healing, it didn't work and after like for 4 days I had to take drugs. But after that experience I immersed myself into reading the bible, reading books and listening to messages on divine healing. And for like two years now I've not used any drug. It has worked for me every single time. Btw your friends cousin is in a better place.

My brothers and sisters don't let the devil gain control over your body. Don't let him afflict you with sickness and diseases. The healing power of God is always available for EVERY CHRISTIAN. You don't have to run to the doctor or your pastor every time you are sick, God wants you to depend on him for your healing. Always try to exercise your faith, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. It might not be easy at first but with time you'll grow your faith to a point where it would be easy to believe God for anything. You can start by listening to tapes and reading books on divine healing. One author I'll recommend is Kenneth E Hagin he has some books on divine healing, just try to get one or two of his books and I can guarantee you that your life will not remain the same. You can't explain spiritual phenomenons with physical observations. I believe in God and if God says there's a heaven I believe Him wholeheartedly. And even if you don't believe in God, do you want to say u don't believe in the devil, or how do you want to explain people that do money rituals and people that have various charms. Dont be naïve and don't have a myopic view of life, the "spiritual world exists".

He was made to be a sin for us him who knew no sin so that we might be made the righteous of God in Christ Jesus. There was a divine exchange on the cross.

1cor11 talked about women praying with their head uncovered. But most churches( including the one I attend) allow women to attend church services with uncovered heads. This has always puzzled me but I've not had the privilege of asking the senior pastor of the church about it and most of the workers and subgroup leaders are as confused as I am. When the bible said a woman should not wear a man's clothing what it meant was that if a man wears a particular clothe(not style) then a woman should not put on that particular clothe and vice versa. Besides we are no longer under those laws or do you want to start stoning people to death.

Chronicle depression is a mental illness which am suspecting is what she has. There are drugs for it they are generally called anti-deppressant drugs, social and family support can also help or psychotherapy. Buh one sure way is for her to move closer to Jesus, I've seen this work for a lot of people. She thinks her life is worthless and good for nothing, buh when she moves close to God she'll realise the purpose for her existence.

We were saved by grace through faith. We were saved by faith in the Son of God and not by our works of righteousness. Few christians have problem with this. Buh when you now mention something like Eternal salvation it looks like an erroneous doctrine. The keeping of the law couldn't save the isrealites and neither could it save us when we were sinners, we had to rely on the righteousness of Jesus Christ to get saved, why is it that now that we are saved we feel its our works of the law that will take us to heaven. It pains my heart that christians who are saved by grace believe the best way to get their salvation perfected is by fulfilling the works of the law. The law was never meant for christians it was given to the jews and even the jews couldn't gain God's approval by fulfilling the law, so what makes christians think they can. Let's all accept the righteousness of Jesus Christ and stop trying to gain God's acceptance by fulfilment of the law. God bless you all.
