Have we not had bad Northern govts in the past? Did you ever see the Northerners attack one of their leaders the way southerners were attacking GEJ?

During the June 12th election, Abiola got most of the votes in the North, yet when IBB annulled the election it was only in the South that people took to the streets(and died) the North was quiet.

In 1989 when students took to the streets to protest the harsh economic policies of IBB, again, it was only the southern university students that rioted(and those universities got shut down by IBB) again the North was quiet.

Young people in the south are SO ignorant and childish. They really think Nigeria works like America were you vote in the best candidate for the Job. RUBBISH. Nigeria is a game of tribe and ethnicity, always has been always will be. GROW UP and understand this. We warned you when you were all jumping on the Buhari bandwagon, that you would regret it, but you did not listen. The SW have next 4 years to come to terms with their mistake, and ALL young southerners of the Twitter,Facebook generation, I hope you can now see how Nigeria REALLY works and will be wiser with your votes come 2019.

One, after serving his tenure, has simply returned to his quiet life, accepting the will of the masses and understanding that politics is not worth the blood of the masses. The same "do or die" politician has refused to respect the wrinkles on his fat, ugly, saggy body and go take a rest for good.
Whispers from the grapevine even suggest he's fielding some personal candidates for appointment under the new government.

Now let me give us a food for thought. It is generally said by many people that its the north that feeds the rest of Nigeria with her agricultural produce. If that's the case then how comes they're this poor with a majority of them living below the poverty line? Does it mean they produce and sell everything and then scramble for the few remnants or is there a good explanation for this? Note this report is solidly based on feeding pattern of the regions.
