yes you need to authenticate and legalize your waec certificate and its transcript, it is a must you do that.

You can do that if you have the money, do you know hw much 3% POF of 20m will amount to, considering the fact that u will do that for like 2 month, because it will be more than 2 month before decision will taking on your application, as long as those that applied with POF got visa approval, POF throuh sponsorship is the best option now, in regard toPrtugal visa because is affordable, how many can afford to pay over 1.2m as % of 30m POF. If you use Sponsorship even if your visa approval was delay for like 3month as it happens in most cases, it does not affectyour POF.

It can be in your account, it can also be in someone account, you are using as sponsor, he or she will give you notarized sponsorship letter, including other accompanied documents.
Why we recommend POF through sponsorship is because people that applied with it last year from our angle where give visa and not everyone can afford to pay 3-4% of 15-60m of POF and sometimes getting visa approval decision takes 1-2 months. And this the one that fits those going with dependants.

I applied too but I haven’t paid the 150euros application fees yet as I was told I have till February 28th to make payment before they cancel my application, reasons cos I’m still in the process of authentication. But from the look of things I think i won’t make that payment from what you guys are saying . Even the application fee is too much. Thst can cover 3 different universities

That sch na scam..when we tell people they don't want to hear, they are accepting documents without legalization, they have plans.
Some schools are yet to open for admission for those looking for admission
Besides some of you guys don't know the negative implications of going for one year vocational courses in regards to getting RP.

Those going for Bsc 20-25m
Those going with their family 30-70m

if give visa you be given Rp once you arrive Portugal

you can use it if you collected it directly, even if it is student copy, as long as you know your way and get it authenticated at Moe which is very possible, Portugal embassy will accept it, I have handle similar cases a lot.
because the process of applying your transcript from your sch is difficult and may delay your process, many schools have open for application so you need to sort that in time.

FOR PORTUGAL LEGALISATION PRICE AND VERIFICATION PROCESS
Legalisation price per document 20£(35,000#)
Verification of marriage certificate, birth certificate and Hnd&nd ranges from 250,000 to 300,000

First stage is to authenticate your Educational certificate at moe & mofa, if you are going for masters it is your Bsc & transcript you will submit at the embassy for verification, your o level and transcript for Bsc applicants.

waec/Neco and its transcript verification at the embassy ranges from 200k-300k depending where your sch is located
same with Nd nd Hnd holder.

Portugal embassy legalization fee is 20 euros per document, you will pay in naira, currently 20 euros equivalent is 32k, at their embassy
currently.

and you need to book appointment to submit your documents for verification/legalization. available appointments now are from May 2025 upward
But i render Early Appointments and Submission assistance for those that are not in Abuja or outside Nigeria and other African countries that uses Portugal embassy in Nigeria( Cameroun, Benin republic) that may want to get their documents submitted in time(within a week) in order to start admission application on time, due to the fact that most schools in Portugal requires you authenticate and legalize your documents before applying in order to be considered for admission and also for you not to loose the 50-70 euros application fess that the schools in Portugal charges for admission application, because it is getting more competitive, it is advisable prospective applicant legalize before applying for admission.

You are good to go..but you will need to get your o level stranscript, SS1-SS3..if you are going for Bsc. And note you will pay for verification fee at the embassy.

First he need to gets his certificate ready for authentication, bsc, transcript and his olevel certificate, after authenticating, then legalisation..the faster he does that the better for him, their will be schs available for him to apply to one's his documents are ready for admission application.

Engage people who do this to help you do it..so that u don't make mistakes, there are technicalities involved in documents uploading on MOE site.

I keep on advising prospective students to authenticate, legalize before applying for admission..inorder not to loose the 50-70 euro application fee.
There only one or sch fees that accept without legalisation but their criteria you may not meet up

Many sch request that to stand a chance, last year it was not like that, but it is very competitive now, that why you are advice to do that to stand a better chance securing admission after paying huge application fee.
