Bank statement is not required for a work visa application, because the work permit and company invitation letter are expected to contain salary information and serve as proof of financial resources for living costs. You may include it anyway, if you want to.
However, you will need a bank statement when applying for a temporary residence permit when you arrive

Ideally you can include it, and state it even in your SOP, because it shows that you have some savings to keep you afloat before you start receiving salary.

So you can do that, but if you can contact your sch directly, there may not be need for that.

Thanks for your response. Yes my NUC contact shared with me the photocopy of the signed document that the embassy received when he went to submit it on the 6th of this mnth. And I am worried I’m still yet to be contacted by the Embassy. I’m far from Abuja.

Just come to embassy in 2nd of January your documents is ready, they will retrieve it and ask you to go to bank and pay.

Ok boss thanks. NUC sent my verified documents to the Embassy since is the 6th of this mnth, and uptil now I have not received call to come for Legalization. Pls I thought it’s immediately they normally makes the call.

Okay, once NUC sent to embassy it takes 2-3 days for them to call you to come and legalize..Maybe due to network issues they couldn't get to you.
Did your NUC contact shared the form they submitted to embassy with you..? for you to be sure.
If your are sure of that, you can come to embassy, the documents will be with them, because they do have their own laspses sometimes.

New Updates on Documents Authentication in MOFA
The method of authentication of documents in federal ministry of foreign affairs in Abuja has change
1 you need to present your NINS or your data page or the data page of the passport of the person you want to help to authenticate his or her documents as means of identification.
2 you attach your passport photograph on the form you will be given to fill.
3 you will go to a cyber cafe to generate a remittal of the of the total amount of the number of document you want to pay (including the photocopies of the original ones from MOE)
4 if you are using your documents in countries like Egypt, Italy, Spain, that means you will be needing receipts which is part of the requirementsof such countries, you will go to the office in the first floor of foreign affairs building with your remittal receipt after collecting your authenticated documents to obtain the receipt that will be issued to you.

Some do send their visa applicants back to MOFA to obtain the new signature.

Who told you to get the original, how did you differential the original from the others ?
There certain features to that..hope it is the appropriate body that advice you on that.

There are ways to prove ties your home country but however your age is a factor, I believe you are going for Bsc, being sponsored by your close family relative would have been a better option, because some under graduate student that was granted visa yesterday use their family member as their sponsor.
