Non Igbo minorities in the south south should just support the ongoing biafra agitation just for the sake of the unborn generations. They have been played as fools for so long in this contraption. |
Nigerian leadership is playing a dangerous game that will backfire. While they are fighting to convince the elites in the south south that remaining in Nigeria is beneficial to them, IPOB is busy fighting and capturing the hearts and minds of regular folks on the streets. Please anyone who know global history can see where Nigeria is heading to. |
Even stronger weapons just handed to IPOB. Good job senate. |
Restructuring is a common term that honestly means nothing in the Nigerian scheme of things because everyone has their own definition of what it means. But Nigerians and their politicians have hijack that term and throw it around anytime secessionist agenda comes to the fore front. It is now used as a bait to calm things down when the political climate heats up. They throw that word around anytime SE or SS people get angry at the current exploitation going on. |
mekuzi09:Apart from yorubas pretending to be south-south, the actual south south people against biafra are very loud and opinionated in comparison to those who do support biafra. But they are not in the majority. The majority are actually on the fence watching patiently to see how things unfolds. They are against biafra because of igbophobia which nigeria media or their parents did a good job with instilling for over 40years and /or ignorance of Biafran agenda. They pretend as if IPOB is not offering a referendum. |
What a beautiful piece from a south-southerner...Remain blessed brother. |
backtosender:They seriously have no shame. That's why the IPOB movement grew so fast since 2015 because people with brains can easily see through their hypocrisy. |
Everybody take a pause for one moment. let us just imagine a world were One-Nigerianists applied all their analytical views towards bettering Nigeria and its horrible leaders and government instead of obsessing over igbos and biafra with useless unwarranted and uninvited criticisms, advices and opinions. Just imagine what that world would be like. |
NtoAkwaIbom:I am speaking for myself and my experience and igbos already have oil and access to the sea. Sorry to disappoint you. |
cbrass:You said it. I didn't. All i was saying is that considering all akwa ibomites i have come across in my dealings, i have never seen anyone like him. They are straight forward and easy going people. I don't know where NtoAkwaIbom's Igbo-phobia is coming from so that why I was asking him to look into his family roots. |
NtoAkwaIbom:You can insult me all you want but it won't change the love I have for akwa ibom people. There are lots of them in aba doing business and working hard. Both men and women. They have the "can do spirit" i see amongst Igbos. They dont have the igbophobia I see in some other groups and they are confident people just like igbos. You on the other hand need to ask your mother who your father really is. Something went wrong with you. |
NtoAkwaIbom, you are setting yourself up for big embarassment. The general statements and assumptions that you are making now will backfire in time. I will take you serious only when you are actively on the ground at grass root level in Akwa Ibom campaigning for one nigeria. If not, then Ipob has the upper hand because that's exactly what they are doing now in akwa ibom and cross rivers. |
Rossikki:All these spit and venom just because biafra wants to have their independence. lol I feel your pain and frustration... But know this that BIAFRA will trade and expand rapidly to the rest of the world while the remaining nigeria crumbles from within. |
ISpiksDaTroof:It is only in your dreams that biafra is landlocked. keep repeating these sweet lies to make yourself and your fellow goons feel better... |
kingzizzy:This is what I have been saying 8 years I have been around nairaland. The rest are all yapping online left and right. You only hear of all these phantom republics when they want to use it counter biafra. Another thing that they like to bring up is 'restructure" when in reality they know they north will rather die than allow it to happen, |
OP we know his agenda. It was fun to watch him yesterday make a fool out of himself. |
SmellingAnus:As for number 5, As longs as igbo groups in the south south are not part the Niger delta republic, then they have my blessing. In fact I will personally pray for their success. |
In summary the op is saying don't go for Biafra because if you do we will seize your properties and kill you. While so many countries has broken up in other parts of the world and none of this happened. Nigerians if your argument comes downt to "don't leave or we will kill you and take what belongs to you" you have basically proven that our so called unity is more like a hostage situation. Imagine a couple who was forced into marriage by a stranger. Then one decides to leave after years of the marriage not working. The other couple starts to threaten death and destruction. That is basically what Nigerians are doing to Biafrans. |
The core of igbo values system is fundamental human freedom. We never had an empire or conquered our neighbors. They lived with us for thousands of years. We practiced democracy even before the white man brought his own version. We are republican in nature and culture and believe leadership comes from the consent of the masses. The core of Judeo-Christian values was already embedded in our cultural practices and that's why we adopted Christianity rapidly without any need for forceful conversion. |
This British man must be part of IPOB. |
victorvezx:Bla bla bla One Nigerianists like you have been challenged to multiple debates on this forum with so many thread asking direct logical questions yet none of you had the courage to debate. All I see are annoying monikers peeping on the thread and running away. This is a phenomenon that has been happening here on nairaland and you will be the biggest liar if you dare deny it. |
Media propaganda has its limits. If you doubt me please go and ask Buhari. It time Yorubas stop media propaganda and start solving real issues plaguing them. This whole tolerance and accommodating myth has to stop. The evidence against that myth is piling daily. The same thing happened with education but now look at the statistics for the past 2 decades. Igbos may have all their flaws but one thing about them that I like is that they tell themselves the bitter truth. This forces them to work to compete and improve. Yorubas on the other hand tend to hide their flaws then use media propaganda to brainwash the masses. That won't work anymore. |
Panzienza You are very knowledgeable with history. You need to start a blog to document your knowledge. Also a place we're we Ndigbo can post questions for you while you answer them to the best of your knowledge. |
erico2k2:Lol. The same people that incompetent FG government is owing their school fees for months. You must be living in a cave. Plus igbos dont depend on FG to send their children to school. Also when nigerian student perform outstandingly abroad, its mostly igbos with some yorubas included. i have never seen an itshekiri student. |
erico2k2:What city in the SE is the oil producing Warri better than in development? Please name it. What can itshekiri people point to as something to be proud about in Nigeria since 1960? |
erico2k2:Pictures says thousands of words. This is what Nigeria has given you. Compare with other oil producing areas except for lagos Houston Dubai Lagos ![]() Warri
|
erico2k2:Yes!!!!! they are in bondage. Harriet tubman once said " I freed so many slaves but I could have freed more if they knew that they are slaves". South South minorites will remain nigerian slaves and with their diminishing oil and low human development index, the future is going to be horrible for them in Nigeria. |
Pisss:enslaved by who? It okay to say you don't like biafra but you cross the line when you start making false accusation. What is there in the IPOB constitution makes you think you will be enslaved? |
