Igbos used to be very passive on Nairaland back in the days. The level of hate they used to throw at us was out of this world. But when we started responding the aggressors started playing victim. if you want to believe their crocodile cries that is your own problem but remember to turn your back on your way out for their ceremonial stabbing.

My brother your analysis is too myopic and unrealistic. The Sokoto caliphate cuts across countries and united by religion while the Igbos are yet to even unite within our small area of Southeast. There is actually no war coming as everything is a PDP drama. The aim is to halt anti-corruption war ahead of 2019 elections because they will not be able to move enough money to challenge APC. the IPOB and Arewa youths are just PDP sponsored groups and they will soon be exposed.
This is a new low for you...SAD!!!

I have been on Niaraland for 8 years.

I have seen it all from yorubas. Now they want to start playing fake victim when they are only reaping the hatred that they have been sowing.

Obviously you don't know what you are talking about, who will take their position huh huh huh huh, without people to maintain the infrastructures,it will start to decay. You think that nourishing a business in Nigeria is a child play, think about big banks, telecom businesses that have folded in the past in Nigeria,is not going to be easy for Nigeria atoll atoll and also for Biafra life will be very hard at a start. Both side will not find it easy.
They don't understand how difficult it is to run and maintain business in Nigeria. It has almost always ranked as the worst place to do business in the world. Buying and selling is not childs play especially in NIgeria.

kids in the east are adopted from age 14 and trained for 7-10 years in a line of business and trade before their oga settle them. They think it is as easy as buying and selling.

lol...you ppl are just delusional, ur exit would only give an opportunity for other ppl so do ur businesses...no be buying and selling una dey do.
The only way nigeria will feel ur absence is if u ppl can go with all the infrastructure in Nigeria...the ports, airports , roads, schs,etc..which is impossible.
Then what is stopping them from doing it now? Why wait for Igbos to leave in order to get into those buying and selling businesses? explain

Mind you there are millions of jobless youths in Nigeria. Why are they not going into buying and selling like Igbo youths do?

I guess Biafrans have factored all indices now so that your incoming generation won't tell this same story
This generation is using diplomatic means through peaceful protests and using diaspora communities to lobby foreign nations. Nobody in my generation wants another war but as human beings we retain our rights to self defense if the need comes.

To start a business and do it for years in a country that is consistently ranked one of the worst business climate in the world is not easy. Doing business in Nigeria is not for the faint hearted. So you wont magically generate new businesses over night in Nigeria in order to make up the lost revenue.

Lagos will be the worst hit because of its massive debt.

What economic model will be best for Biafra to develop rapidly and how much involvement should the government have in Biafran economy?
PoliticsRe: What Will Happen To Igbo Businesses And Investments When Biafra Is Achieved by Fremancipation: 6:15pm On Jun 07, 2017
Igbo investments will suffer initially because Nigerians cant wait to carryout their evil fantasies but once the tax revenues and economy starts going down Nigerian government will start begging for businesses to come back.

Ojukwu was right when he said they were ready to repel Nigerian attack in the beginning of the war BUT he never factored in that the British, soviet union, and some Arab states will join in the fight.

He thought the fight was going to be between Biafra and Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: How The War Between Igbos And The Arewa Will Be A 6 Day War by Fremancipation: 5:31pm On Jun 07, 2017
Even with all the groups in Nigeria joining the in the uncivil war to fight against the Igbos, they wouldn't have been able to defeat Biafra with out the unlimited supply of weapons by the British, then followed by the soviet union.

A war analyst back in 2010, said that of all the weapons Nigeria used against Biafra, none of them can be produced today in Nigeria.

His argument was that the Igbos were actually fighting the British empire and NOT Nigeria. Nigeria was just used as a "tool" to put defeat Igbos because they were scared of their empire crumbling in Africa.

Ojukwu said more than you and you were not even born then. All the folks talking and commenting here have never seen war. The fact that you are comparing syria with a potential 2nd Nigerian Civil War goes to show your utter lack of comprehension of the dynamics at play We have seen this movie before. it's dejavu all over again this time with folks more ignorant and even less courageous&sophisticated as Ojukwu and his foot soldiers. Continue in your delusions. Reality and Experience has a way of straightening you folks out. The only thing to count now is how many lives will be lost in this suicidal match towards vanity
Oya now if you are so confident tell your government to start another war and see how fast this contraption will collapse.

Assad thought that by strong arming the protesters and killing them, they will cower and run away. 6 years later, look at Syria today.

In the east we know that we can rebuild faster and stronger than any other group with no assistance. We have done it before and we can do it even much better and faster. Same cannot be said for the zoo.

Please tell Nigerian government to start a war and see Biafra become a country at the end of this year. You think western nations will support Islamic Nigeria over Biafra.

This is the first delusion in response to a question on how BIAFRA could be achieved.

The Federal Government would never yield its asset without a fight. it will seek to keep its territorial and sovereign integrity. Anything else is just pure pipe-dream. The way you guys talk of BIAFRA it can only be achieved one way and that is winning the war to secede. Don't be deceived. If you are planning at least plan well.
Dont make the mistake of thinking that Nigeria will win another war if anything starts. For the mean time, Biafrans are exploring all available peaceful means but if Nigerian government makes the mistake of another war, Syria will be a child's play.

In the civil war, biafrans had a professional army and fought a conventional war against the British vassal Nigeria. The world was blind then and Biafra didn't have much. We were just helpless with no real support.

A second civil war will be unconventional and will amass the biggest insurgency in Africa history.

Biafrans are now all over the world and will mount attacks in all of Nigeria embassies and foreign missions.

At the end as NNamdi Kanu says, you might kill us but we will win.

We shouldn't ban Islam because of the international repercussions but we should have strong border protection and patrol. No matter what happens we should never allow Muslim refugees to come in. They should go seek help from other Muslim countries.

You can't be running to infidels anytime you need help.

Why are you trying to spoil this thread with this you lots unity begging business?

Why exactly are you people doing this? Enu ani is Igbo and would ultimately end up with us.
But Ikwerre? Hell no! You invite those lots, you open the gates for Igbophobic entities we are trying to stay away from.

Please let this PH talk be. PH is a third world city, it's not New York for crying out loud.
Before you know it, this thread would be derailed with irrelevant people given undue attention.

Lets stop doing this to ourselves.
Ikwerre people won't want to stay in Nigeria without igbos forget all these shakara and besides they are not the only Igbo clans in rivers state. What about the rest that never denied their Igboness after they were carved out of abia state. Why do we always act as if they are the only igbos clans in rivers state or port harcourt while ignoring the rest.

Knowing how short term minded typical Nigerians are, they will seek to destroy and plunder as much as they can Igbo wealth in Nigeria. But much later as years go by they will start sending delegations to Biafra to attract investments back into Nigeria at much cheaper rate and incentives than what is available now.

Biafra is an ideology. Every ideology needs to be sold for people to buy them, no matter how good they are, if not well marked or presented, people won't buy them.

There are Igbos sitting on the fence on this Biafra issue, reason being that they are not sure how it's going to be any better off than Nigeria.

These are the people Arewa-Oduanistanis target with the tales of gloomy Biafra.

And these are the ones we must protect by debunking the Arewa-Oduanistanis lies.

Every serious movement must have propaganda against it, managing those propaganda and keeping the spirit of the members of such movement high is crucial.

Nobody is going to identify with a cause they perceive to be destined for failure.

So, No to your advice. Arewa-Oduanistanis with their false propaganda against Biafra as a matter of necessity MUST be debunked and checkmated.
We must keep the morale in our camp high!

Dalukwa.
Amen. Well captured.

Land locked means land locked.

It means you have no access to the sea.

Even if only the current SE in its geopolitical form makes up Biafra, it is still not land locked.

Abia state southern tip has the potential for a large port less than 30 nautical miles to the open sea.

Ndigbo need to stop swallowing propaganda

@op,

Biafrans are planing to set up the largest development fund in Africa that will be injected into the Biafran economy using Biafran diaspora bond and contributions.

The fund will be dedicated to rapid infrastructure development from seaports to railways to highways etc.

It will help us catch up with the rest of the civilized world.

Give me some ideas on how to go about it. Thanks

Whatever you may think, or however you feel about IPOB
Respect them, they walk the walk.

Nigerian army spokesperson said soldiers were recalled in their barracks on may 30th, because IPOB set a trap for them, with their local and international collaborators.
They received thousands of calls, asking them if they will interfere in the sit-at-home order, they sensed a trap was set for them, so they ordered all units to be recalled back into their barracks on night of May 29th.
