Lol. Most times I just shake my head and wonder if these 'younglings' have sense especially among the female folk. The pride is too much. When reality hits you, nobody will tell you to count your teeth with your tongue. I graduated from an expensive university where the school fees of one semester is enough to train someone for 3years in a government institution; but after graduating, I worked for 2years and some months on a salary of 10k out of which 4k per month goes into transportation which left me with 6k monthly; some will exclaim "A graduate earning 10k?!". I stomached it, gathered some experience then started my venture. Life like they say "na small small." Humility will take you places but pride will be the quicksand of a person's failure.

This is so so wrong. Even if she used a humeral veil to carry the monstrance, it is still very very WRONG for a female to carry the blessed sacrament. I don't know what she's trying to prove. Sacrileges like this cause people to be stoned to death in the past. Only the priest is allowed to carry the blessed sacrament contained in the monstrance. The only time someone who isn't a priest can carry that monstrance is when the blessed sacrament isn't in it. And the empty monstrance must still be carried with reverence using a corporal or any of the blessed linens. I was a mass server so I know what I'm saying. Too bad I can't un-see this sacrilege.

I know that speaking in tongues exists but IT IS NOT A MUST one should speak in tongues especially the crappy gibberish people speak now in the name of tongues just so that they will be called 'born again' or 'righteous.' Speaking in tongues is essentially speaking in another language that isn't your native tongue, which you had no prior knowledge of; a language which can be understood by the natives of that language; and it happens under the power of the Holy spirit. Please I repeat, IT ISN'T A MUST TO SPEAK IN TONGUES. Bia OP. It's not a must one should speak in tongues. Do you think this gibberish people speak now is the real speaking in tongues? Hell no! Don't let anyone deceive you that speaking in tongues is a must; free yourself from this mental slavery and make REAL peace with your God. There are too many deceivers out there claiming to be 'men of God' but actually, they bank on your gullibility and make you do things that normally your brain would discern to be wrong. This same speaking in tongues topic reminds me of when I was in a bus sometime last year, a woman finished praying for the occupants and she suddenly said "if you know how to speak in tongues, begin to speak now..." then she began speaking her unintelligent gibberish. Now, from the bolded, we can see that the REAL speaking in tongues occurs when the HOLY SPIRIT ACTUALLY falls on a person enabling the person to speak in a language that is not his MOTHER TONGUE. A language that someone can actually understand. For example, you didn't know how to speak German before then suddenly, under the power of the Holy Spirit, you are able to speak German and a German national will actually understand the German you speak. Look carefully at Acts 2:7-11. After y'all will say that we Catholics don't read the bible, that we are too traditional, when actually, you guys in search of 'sharp sharp' 'fast life' 'digital' ways of serving God & killing your conscience from sins you have committed, you take a passage of the bible, remove the 'sense' it was actually meant to give you, add your 'non' and turn it to NONSENSE!.

This particular topic has been bothering me, i once asked a Rev Father, who said its not a sin.

On the contrary i met another man of God(prophet) who said alcohol has an evil spirit in it, it has demons that controls who ever takes it.

But on friday, my cousin who happens to be a prophet came around and has been drinking Williams(beer) comfortably from my fridge and he said neither can alcohol stop his gift of prophecy nor possess him with demon.

I really need help concerning this topic and scriptures to back it up.

Alcohol is not a sin Oga. It becomes one when taken in excess. There was nothing like nonalcoholic wine in the biblical times. Please ignore the guy or man that told you it is a sin.
