I just notice something strange on my decoder today.I do not know if everyone is experiencing the same thing. my decoder is srt69x, it was on then my lights went off but when the lights came back i forgot to quench the decoder so it came on rightaway..but suddenly i saw the screen rolling like it was booting..it did that for like almost 30 second..usually it takes like 5 seconds to boot..so i unplug the lnb cord from the back...after a while, i saw it coming normal. But what amuse me is after that scenario when i change the channel or press the info button i see something like "New S/W" on the screen on top of where we see the signal strength...so i'm wondering..what could possible be that...and why has it come now because before there was no such thing?

your box may have upgraded to the myTV upgrade/software...got to menu->software version. you will get the real picture.

Ameboperoo: 4922 is better. It is id and got lan port, hdmi, supports cccam, and it very cheap. It has software updates 2. Besides, most 69x11 out there r fake except u buy from strong dealer. I've used both receivers

o boy i think the reason guys are reluctant to answer is because that decoder of yours will not give you the ultimate viewing pleasure....either you upgrade to a strong-MP4- decoder or you just try to nail w3c(which i wont tell you how to,because its been so answered in the w3c thread).

Chartey: They're not getting much revenue from gh either. It's free there too. Blind scan and see first. As for d signal fluctuation, it occurs periodically in Zaria here, but it's always brief, say 2-3mins. I seriously suspect sabotage from dstv. They've been losing their access and family customers.

It's just an exercise in futility . . .the best they can do is bring down their rates chikena!!!

You are right guys. It was quite painful taking all the pains to make such detailed posts for the administrators of that site to delete it all. On top of that i always had to be authenticated before i could log in. It just pissed me off. Anyway I'm still around, always learning what i can, when i can and finding new ways to grab those birds out there. I am working on a baby project elsewhere, it's doing well and growing by the day. Last but not the least, as we are all praying for more fta channels this year, lets do our best to do our part in getting some of these Foreign channels down here in Africa. I am starting this campaign with MBC Group of channels. Every Nairalander should at least send them an email a day indicating why it is important they add sub-saharan africa to their list of coverage areas.If we are able to do this, we will actually see a boom in FTA channels in Africa.
