than a BULLY Russia that will make neighboring countries not to look in the direction of NATO. Bullying and threats will only breed suspicion and contempt among neighbors. Imposing puppets as Presidents will only make the general populace of those countries resent Russia. President Putin made Russia's neighbors enemies rather than friends.

China has realized that if it turns to theirs, that's how the West will be issuing unilateral sanctions against them without considering Russia and other allies input. So it's better to raise the alarm now, by telling the West that the world is not unilateral, others contributions must be consider before arriving at final decisions.

The Ukraine leader is clearly not a smart leader. Perhaps this could be the reason he was choosen by the west. He would make a very good stupid puppet.
You don't make enemies with a world power you are sharing borders with, knowing fully well that his unfair treatment of the breakaway region will force Russia to come to there aid. A smart leader would find away to make peace with Moscow and still maintain a healthy relationship with the west without joining nato.
