UNIQUEISRAEL: I know the Bible says that knowing Jesus is the only way to get to heaven. But there are people in remote parts of the world who may never get a chance to hear about God or Jesus. What happens to them when they die? There won't be such people, since the kingdom will not come except the gospel of the kingdom is preach all over the world. |

Woged2005: What makes modern religious girls (born-gains) unattractive for marriage?
Please I am not judging or rushing to conclusion. But I visited a church and had attended many churches and it shocks me to see the number of educated, beautiful, working class ladies in their late 30’s trooping to answer alter-calls, sometime crying openly in church to find a husband. Sometime I wonder what part of them don’t men (even brothers in the same church) see? These ladies appear to have it all -shape, education, career, beauty etc. Why are they not getting married despite their credentials? Does it mean these ladies only trooped to church when things have already gone wrong in their lives? Are they being rewarded for past lives? Do men (even Christian men) not find them marriageable? What are they doing wrong?
Please pour your mind and experiences out here. Let’s help people understand. Let’s offer practical solutions. Are you saying that Marriage ceremonies are not happening all weekends, sometimes week days any longer. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Should A Christian Restitute? by fromnigeria(m): 11:36am On Aug 07, 2016 |
chrischalice: Restitution is a must in our christian Faith, else we make shipwreck of our faith. 1 Tim 1:19, Holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting conscience certain persons have made shipwreck of their faith. NB: before you restitute God will first of all hold you on your consciecnce, lets take this in a more direct ways, before you got saved you are just a sinner and there are sins that God will tell you to restitute by holding your conscience, at this time christians got confused because it is hard and their questions often is this, have i not accepted Him? Am i not save? But i tell you it is part of transitioning into everlasting because in God there is no darkness. But when you do it, the weight will be lifted from you, one of things that actually happens after salvation is resurrection of conscience, God knows that it is almost impossible to chasten someone without conscience . A christian without is dead. 1 John 3:19-21, By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our hearts before Him whenever our hearts condemn us 20, for God is greater than our Hearts and he knows everything 21, Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God. I wonder How we christians live with our conscience when we do something wrong, but if your conscience is not right God, you cannot commiune with Him. So brethren restitution is require of every christian who calls Him/herslf a Christian. The reason why some people jump this is to avoid the offence of the cross. But i tell you today you are not a christian when you shy away from persecution. Bible said '' for so persecuted them that were prophet before you, book of Heb 12:4. You have resisted unto blood, striving with sin. This is the level christianity that our fathers were in. People Stephen, Peter, John, others, they never shortcuted anything less than what Jesus thought. They followed the doctrine of Jesus. Todays Christians don't want to pay the price to be with the Master, but i tell you if shortcut RESTITUTION, your salvation is built on sand if while you were in the world as a lady for instance you committed several abortions, how do you restitute.? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Should A Christian Restitute? by fromnigeria(m): 11:18am On Aug 07, 2016 |
Jeel: Restitution basically is paying for your wrongs.
So as a Christian today should we restitute?
Pls support your stand with cogent reasons and scriptures if possible. Thank you! We can never atone for our sins; only the blood can and has. If it matters, how about those who got a job with a falsified WAEC result, are they going to restitute and forfeit the job they now have after leaving school? How about the houses they've built from the proceed of the education founded on falsified result, are they going to abandon them? All we owe him is to sincerely confess to God, repent and turn away from sin. |
Phones › Re: 7 Reasons You Should Use Airtel Night Plan Over MTN Night Plan by fromnigeria(m): 9:23am On Aug 07, 2016 |
prinsam30: I made this analysis based on facts, not trying to condemn any network provider, there's always room for improvement though.
Now let's get down to business.
Subscribing
1. Insert your Airtel SIM card in your phone and Dial *312*1# to migrate to smarttrybe, still on the platform subscribe either to N25 for 500mb by choosing option 2 or subscribe to N50 for 1.5gb by choosing option 3, you don't have to send a message to any code number unlike MTN where you send "Night to 131" and in most cases, the message gets hanged, if the message finally gets through, it will be difficult to browse with it.
Multiple Options
2. Airtel have Two options to choose from, it's either you go for N25 for 500mb or N50 for 1.5gb, as you all know, MTN has only One option which is N25 and it is capped at 500mb and most times you ended up using half of that allocated MBs.
Zapping
3. Airtel has No zapping of data either on N25 for 500mb or N50 for 1.5gb, I'm a witness to that, I strictly monitor my data usage, not even 1mb would be zapped, because I queued up my downloads during the day time and at night I just start clicking on the download buttons, there would be no need of searching for file or movies to download thereby letting some data to slip through, MTN N25 for 500mb zaps alot, sometimes u ended up using 250mb the best you can use is 400mb if at all you're lucky.
Subscription Period
4. Airtel subscription time starts from 12midnight and ends 5am. MTN in the other hand starts from 12midnight and ends by 4.00am but most times it stopped at 3.30am, if u no use up ur 500mb before that time, ur name na sorry.
Download Rate
5. The best download rate you can get on Airtel night plan is 13m/s and the least is 2m/s, this is not a joke I have pictures to attest to this. The best you can get on MTN night plan is 2m/s and the least is 500kb/s.
Multiple SIM Cards
6. In Airtel night plan, you don't have to use multiple Airtel SIM cards, One Airtel SIM card is enough for you for the night, you can keep subscribing once you run out of data within this time bracket (12midnight to 5am) "omo na this one dey sweet me pass" . You will need minimum of 10 MTN SIM cards, maximum uncountable to do their night plan, very very stressful I most tell you and at the end of the day you will not be able to use up to 4 SIM cards Abi no be so
Data Allocation
7. Like I stated in number 6 above, you don't need multiple Airtel SIM cards to do your subscription, One SIM card is just enough to do the magic for you for that night, do you know that you can get as much as 15gb of data for just N500 in one night I can feel you shouting WoW!!! Oh yes it is very possible to get 15gb for N500 by subscribing N50 for 1.5gb everytime your data get exhausted in multiple of 10 times, now do the calculation yourself, simple as that. Multiple SIM cards on MTN to do your subscription and at the end of the day you will get frustrated using only 4 SIM cards which amount to N100 for 2gb of data per night, if at all you're lucky to use up to that 2gb.
8. You can add yours if you have any. pls be informed that I'm open to criticism but never you misuse it, thank you. brother, i do subscribe yet i don't normally find the data on my phone. What do i do. What could e wrong? |

Especially if she/he is to spend a night with you. Should one pray for God's protection through the night. And equally forgiveness of sin before the night sleep of which sex will be involved? it is not bad to pray before going to bed. but it is bad to indulge in sex with a boyfriend/girlfriend after prayers. |

Crime › Ringleader Of Global Network Behind Thousands Of Online Scams Arrested by fromnigeria(op): 6:18pm On Aug 01, 2016*. Modified: 6:38pm On Aug 01, 2016 |
The head of an international criminal network behind thousands of online frauds has been arrested in a joint operation by INTERPOL and the Nigerian Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The 40-year-old Nigerian national, known as ‘Mike’, is believed to be behind scams totaling more than USD 60 million involving hundreds of victims worldwide. In one case, a target was conned into paying out USD 15.4 million. The network compromised email accounts of small- to medium-sized businesses around the world, including in Australia, Canada, India, Malaysia, Romania, South Africa, Thailand and the US, with the financial victims mainly other companies dealing with these compromised accounts. Heading a network of at least 40 individuals across Nigeria, Malaysia and South Africa which both provided malware and carried out the frauds, the alleged mastermind also had money laundering contacts in China, Europe and the US who provided bank account details for the illicit cash flow. Following his arrest in Port Harcourt in southern Nigeria, a forensic examination of devices seized by the EFCC showed he had been involved in a range of criminal activities including business e-mail compromise (BEC) and romance scams. The main two types of scams run by the 40-year-old that targeted businesses were payment diversion fraud – where a supplier’s email would be compromised and fake messages would then be sent to the buyer with instructions for payment to a bank account under the criminal’s control – and ‘CEO fraud’. In CEO fraud, the email account of a high-level executive is compromised and a request for a wire transfer is sent to another employee who has been identified as responsible for handling these requests. The money is then paid into a designated bank account held by the criminal. 'Mike' first came onto the law enforcement radar through a report provided to INTERPOL by Trend Micro, one of its strategic partners at the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI) in Singapore. This, combined with actionable analysis and intelligence from Fortinet Fortiguard Labs in 2015, enabled specialists at the INTERPOL Digital Crime Centre, including experts from Cyber Defense Institute based at the IGCI, and the EFCC to locate the suspect in Nigeria, resulting in his arrest in June. Abdul Chukkol, Head of the EFCC’s Cybercrime Section said the transnational nature of business e- mail compromise makes it complex to crack, but the arrest sent a clear signal that Nigeria could not be considered a safe haven for criminals. “For a long time we have said in order to be effective, the fight against cybercrime must rely on public-private partnerships and international cooperation,” said Mr. Chukkol. “The success of this operation is the result of close cooperation between INTERPOL and the EFCC, whose understanding of the Nigerian environment made it possible to disrupt the criminal organization’s network traversing many countries, targeting individuals and companies,” added Mr. Chukkol. Noboru Nakatani, Executive Director of the IGCI warned that BEC poses a significant and growing threat, with tens of thousands of companies victimized in recent years. “The public, and especially businesses, need to be alert to this type of cyber-enabled fraud,” said Mr. Nakatani. “Basic security protocols such as two-factor authentication and verification by other means before making a money transfer are essential to reduce the risk of falling victim to these scams. “It is exactly through this type of public and private sector cooperation that INTERPOL will continue to help member countries in bringing cybercriminals to justice no matter where they are,” concluded Mr. Nakatani. The 40-year-old, along with a 38-year- old also arrested by Nigerian authorities, faces charges including hacking, conspiracy and obtaining money under false pretences. Both are currently on administrative bail as the investigation continues. saharareporters.com/2016/08/01/ringleader-global-network-behind-thousands-online-scams-arrested-nigeria

marshborn: A friend of mine was involved in a a motor accident on his way makurdi, somewhere in a remote part of benue state, according to eye witnesses he became unconscious and was rushed to the local health centre around that area for first aid treatment.
The good samaritans that helped were able to locate his two phones and they tried contacting his family or friends to inform them of his where about, but to their disappointment the two phones were locked. He stayed in the state of coma for two good days before finally giving up the ghost, because the local health centre lacked the professionals to keep him alive. Had his phone been accessible he might have stood a better chance of being alive today.
So avoid putting a screen lock on all your phones, it's okay to lock certain applications that may contain personal messages and informations e.g mobile banking app, WhatsApp e.t.c. but at least leave the contact list accessible to everybody, DON'T PUT A SCREEN LOCK. This might just save your life. In case of next time, all they needed to is remove the SIM cards, and insert in another phone. |
