I'm not even a major fan of Peter Obi, as I prefer someone like Soludo. But Peter Obi is miles ahead of Fashola in terms of achievement as a governor.

Fashola boasted that a serious government will solve the power situation in the country. He has been there for over 7years and yet, things are even worse now than it was, before he came in. That immediately shows you the level of Fashola's competence.

Peter Obi was a part of the team that ensured Nigeria became the biggest economy in Africa. PO was the DG of Securities and Exchange Commission around that time, so he was a part of the economic team that beat the whole of Africa economically.

When it comes to corruption, PO is possibly the least corrupt governor that has governed any state in Nigeria since 1999. The only other person that can possibly compete with him will be Soludo, but he has only done just a few months, so I am a little hesitant comparing the two of them at this early stage.

Many brilliant students can graduate with just a pass because of numerous factors. Unintelligent people can use sex and money to buy first class. Has Obi ever made a grammatical blunder in public? Has he ever done something that illiterates are known for? Can an illiterate manage Anambra economy the way he did?

Today, Nigerians are hungry, poor and sick. The majority of Nigerians are below d poverty line. Many have no access to good medicare. These issues cut across all tribes and cultures.

How do we solve the problem? How do we arrest the steady descent into hunger, poverty and sickness? Do we vote for the person who will likely win or do we vote to change the narrative? If u vote for the person who will likely win, but whom u know will not deliver, that makes u PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER ONE because u are joining hands with our oppressors.

We must vote to change the narrative.

Just as u don't ask if the mechanic is from ur village or if the doctor is of ur tribe, we would not look at PETER OBI as an Igbo; we look at him as the mechanic who will put our economy in perfect shape, we look at him as the doctor who will rescue our economy from imminent and fatal collapse.

If u are not happy that no serious effort is being made to make our educational system functional and effective in the new era, then vote PETER OBI.
If u are not happy that we are borrowing to service debts and to fuel consumption then vote PETER OBI.
If u are not happy that most youths are unemployed and unemployable then vote for PETER OBI.
If u are not happy about the epileptic nature of electricity then vote for PETER OBI.

The question u must answer is: would u allow ur beautiful car to remain unusable because d mechanic is Igbo? Or, would u rather die than allow an Igbo expert to take care of our health?
Do u hate yourself that much, to allow poverty to destroy ur children when there is a genuine and legitimate way out through PETER OBI?

All youths must act now.

As the preparations for the presidential election is gradually gathering momentum, I'm just thinking out loud on who can effectively stand the Labor Party presidential flag bearer. I remember that during the preparations for the 2019 general elections, Atiku and Buhari refused to show up for the presidential primaries but projected their Vice Presidential candidates in the persons of Peter Obi and Prof Yemi Osibanjo. Most of us were previleged to view or listen to the debate.
But now that Obi is now a presidential flag bearer and his former principal is also a presidential flag bearer, how will the debate look like. Waiting to get the comments of the Nairalanders.

I think for me, PETER OBI takes all the honours. Atleast there is a sense of a little govt presence in ABIA but NONE in Anambra. No local govt system, no govt presence. The capital is heavily lacking in infrastructure and from what ve seen, there is NO LOVE for him from the people. Anambra state is stagnant. I am disappointed at what I have seen in the state thus far.

So, my humble appeal to the PDP is to repeat the 2019 Atiku-Obi combo. Obviously, PDP's Wike and Okowa are at loggerhead as to who will be running mate. To me, both should be jettisoned by the PDP and better reconcile with Peter Obi. PDP should ask Wike and Okowa step down their interest in the interest of the PDP and to work together to achieve the 2023 project. Let us face it, if PDP fields Okowa, Ibori, and Wike will turn against PDP and should they field Wike, sorry, the PDP will lose in Enugu self. Wike has shown rascality and uncouth behaviour that even his Rivers state money cannot mend, both in the North and in the SE.
