Just found out that the unlimited bis plan is still working.

Instead of texting BBCWEEK to 21600, instead text BBWEEK to the same number, and voila...unlimited browsing here I come!

But while BBCWEEK is priced at #500, BBWEEK is priced at #1000.

shosky1794: Thank you for the reply. i tried it the way you said but it won't work that way. It's not even bringing the data signal. I've got the MTN GPRS settings on my phone before but i will want the get the BIS plan hence, the new configuration for the blackberry. I will appreciate it if you can help. Thank you.
Go on and subscribe to any BB plan, then wait for the message. After that, then make the blackberry.net Acess point your default Acess point. If the signal wasn't showing before, it will show this time because you have activated it. Cheers!
Gaming › Re: FIFA 13 Vs. PES 2013 - The Final Verdict by Frostyzone(m): 9:36am On Mar 18, 2013
negga4al: I still love PES but have got to say that FIFA since FIFA 12 have a more real gameplay compared to PES 12/13.
Fifa 13 has more realism but Pes 13 better interactive gameplay wins it for me.

negga4al: Many PES lover know this but would not admit it because they are more of a loyal fan. PES are so good with graphics that sometimes you wonder if it is an adventure game you are playing. The gameplay, however, is too robotic and cannot be obtainable in real life: no handballs, referees are alien to the game, so f**king static, same with linesmen but in FIFA you will just love the players & goalkeepers' antics, commentary, replay; compare all these to PES then you'll note the difference.
Dude, your reasoning clearly defines that you haven't given Pes 13 a try at all. Robotic?? Are you kidding me? If anything, they nailed the player's movements and dribbling a little too perfectly. They way you build up play and play in your teammates is exactly the way they do it in real life. Messi plays like Messi, and Ronaldo is simply fantastic. And crossing the balls from the wings is frankly speaking, better than the Fifa's version. Goalies are also more intelligent and versatile than they are on Fifa 13, seeing that they will do everything in their power to see that the ball doesn't go past them across the goal lines. Where as Fifa's counterpart will just look on like a mo.ron if the ball is not heading towards it, even if it's heading towards a certain corner-kick. The only downside is the officiating and player collision physics. Bad commentary has became an integral part of PES, as well as constant meaningless replays.

Those are the areas they need to improve upon to catch up with and over take the complacent Fifa.

negga4al: All in all, I still love playing PES especially when you want to flex your muscles with others, using some "super players" Ronaldo, Messi, Ronaldinho. Got to say when playing with others, PES is the best, you just love it when you whoop people's ass, otherwise for your entertainment, FIFA got that.
The above is the only meaningful thing you 'd said so far.

negga4al: For me, FIFA 13 wins this, and PES team will only be chasing this quality (gameplay).
Fifa 13 wins it for me too, partly due to sentiments alone. But in a neutral point of view, Pes 13 stepped up on the gameplay category, and gave Fifa the run of their money.

It's not a thrashing anymore like it was last year. Rather it's more of Fifa 13(2) - Pes13(1).

haywire1: chaiii dis photoshop software good oooo. Nairalanders don't b a learner grin
Are you implying that you are hacking other people's phone through their photoshop app loopholes, and stealing their data? Because I know one guy that does that on daily basis, prompting me to uninstall any app that might compromise my phone security asap.

If that's what you are implying, better stop because it's a criminal offense punishable by 15 years imprisonment.

EMMAUGOH: I am suspecting something it seems like some Mtn techs are watching our post here, cos everybody was saying it was working but at a time in almost thesame time it stoped.I guess someone close his mouth here....
Paranoia...Mtn doesn't need to be monitoring this thread to know what is going on across their servers. Believe me, they are perfectly aware that non-blackberry users are making use of their BB services, hence the capping of BBC packages.

Joe50: for does saying they would wait till the month of their subscription ends, you can send cancel to 21600 to deactivate your subscription and re-subscribe at any time.
Another half-arsed advice. Dude, I have tried every scenario in the book to override this subscription matter, no be today. The techs at mtn did their home work to cover all the bases, to prevent subscription cheating such as this.

The more appropriate code is NO not Cancel btw. Cancel will only give you an invalid command text message, while NO will tell you to wait till your subscription expires.

Unless you are an highly skilled hacker abi na cracker, tough luck.

If they are deducting your money, it only means that you have reached your data cap but your subscription is still on-going.

Wait till it expires, then try again. You will know that it works when the money you loaded into your account disappears. The money shouldn't remain in your account. That's how it works.

What we have here MR WTF is what we call switchable graphics or Optimus.

You did not upgrade shit.

Let me educate you.

For you to upgrade a graphics card in a laptop, you will have to change the motherboard and the power supply. Then you would have to find which card would fit into your laptop.

Then you will have to consider the cooling. grin Do you know how much it costs to put those things together?? Niggah plz
Stop blabbering, dude. All I know is that I improved my laptop's graphic memory and performance with the geforce. If that ain't an upgrade, I don't know what else is.

Gaming › Re: FIFA 13 Vs. PES 2013 - The Final Verdict by Frostyzone(m): 3:04pm On Mar 15, 2013
Konami really stepped up their game with this year contender PES 13. The gameplay is superb, maybe a little better than FIFA 13 gameplay. But in other departments: Presentations, graphics, realism, commentary, they sadly tanked.

Though they were able to beat Fifa in player likenesses, they disappointed yet again by not showing visible linesmen. And the spectators are simply too blurry and cardboardy compared to FIFA's.

But their gameplay alone is the defining point, and this is where I really appreciated Pes 13. You can score some pretty awesome goals you couldn't be able to do with Fifa 13. The officiating and the never ending replays are real downers, though.

If they can build on that and improve on other departments like, commentary, presentations, realism and most importantly better looking glossy graphics, I see them finally toppling Fifa's reign next year.

But for now I'm sticking with Fifa because I have become addicted to it's realism, graphics, and career mode...not it's gameplay though. In all honesty, it sucks. 2012 version is IMO their best game ever. The gameplay alone would blow your mind.

peteregwu: the mtn bis is now truely working on android phones. I tried it this night, subscribing for a week. now am browsing with it on my xperia tipo dual android phone. here is the settings if u need it, NAME- MTN BIS, APN - BLACKBERRY.NET, AUTHENTICATION TYPE- PAP, OTHERS SHOULD BE LEFT BLANK. ENJOY GUYS. THE THING IS THAT HOW MUCH DATA IS FOR A WEEK.
It's one point something ish, so be careful on how much data you consume before the expiration date, because you are stuck with it whether you like it or not till the very end.
Phones › Re: Mtn BIS Now Has A Data Cap Of 3gig by Frostyzone(m):
What the Op said is true. The mtn bis Packages are truly capped. Whether it's the 3gigabytes monthly subscription, or the 1.something gigabytes weekly version, it's all within limits.

And the most annoying thing about it is that once you have exhausted all the browsing/downloading data before the subscriptions run out, it's practically impossible to cancel or renew your subscriptions. Instead they will tell you to wait till your subscriptions reaches it's expiration date, before doing as you wish. Just imagine the big sense of those guys!

For the monthly subscribers like my girlfriend, it's a very unfavorable development. And for the weekly subscribers, such like myself, it's not so bad, it's a matter of waiting for another 7 days.

For those people on monthly subscriptions that their bis is still unlimited, well enjoy it while it last because very soon, those mtn tight-fisted misers will catch up with you, and turn your dream world into a nightmare. Just ask my girlfriend...lol!
