PoliticsRe: Why Blame The North And West For Biafra by fstranger1: 7:16pm On Dec 15, 2010
Blazay:
Who blamed the North and West for Biafra? undecided
Any true Igbo broda would accept that Biafra was as a result of the Igbos' ambition to do the unattainable with poor planning and implementation.

But, if you are talking of starvation of the "casualties of war" in the Biafra era. . . heck yeah. The North and West were responsible of course.

You know the Igbos love to eat a lot. . .that was the only logical move that could weaken the over all defense.
It worked didn't it?

War strategists use starvation all the time.  Too bad the Igbos loved akpu too much and could not survive without it instead of dry grains of rice. The Vietnamese chased the Americans away by surviving on just 15 grains of rice a day with lots of water and physical exercise.

As for the Ijaw connection. . . Oh well. . . why bother. You are dealing with the South-south not so? The worst part of Nigeria to come from. They stand for nothing. Just confusion.

Next question please.
Are you actually trying to admit that the Yoruba race is superior to every other race in Nigeria?

Because the last time I checked, the brains behind ending the war are Yoruba

Blackburn announced they have sacked manager Sam Allardyce.Allardyce was relieved of his duties along with his assistant Neil McDonald by the club's new owners, the Venky's Group from India.

Blackburn have lost three out of their last five games, including a 2-1 defeat by his former club Bolton on Sunday.

"We have taken this decision as part of our wider plans and ambitions for the club," Rovers said in a statement on their website on Monday.

Rovers are currently 13th in the Premier League, five points above the relegation zone.

Current first-team coach Steve Kean will take temporary charge of the club.

Allardyce joined Blackburn in December 2008 and guided the Lancashire club to a respectable 10th place in the Premier League last season.

Former Blackburn midfielder Robbie Savage said he was "shocked" to learn of Allardyce's departure from Ewood Park.

"I know the chairman John Williams well but it's obviously the owners who have made this decision," the former Wales international told BBC Radio 5 live.

"Big Sam has a big ego and maybe they clashed.

"He was doing a good job, what do people expect? He will be very disappointed."

The Rao family completed their £43m takeover of Rovers through their newly formed company, Venky's London Limited, on 19 October.

And Venky's chairwoman Anuradha Desai had told the BBC last month that the group had "promised manager Allardyce funds to spend in the January transfer window".

But in a statement on Monday, the club said: "We would like to put on record our thanks to Mr Allardyce for his contribution to Blackburn Rovers Football Club."

Omenani:
Why would that be unfortunate? America is a land of immigrants. People find new homes. Demographics change. Do you see Italian-Americans, Polish-Americans, German-Americans returning to the country of their ancestors? The answer is no. They recognize their unique history, but they are comfortable living in America. I am comfortable living in America, and I know many Nigerians some born in the U.S. and some born in Nigeria.
Hope you die as slave in America

We dont want you in Nigeria

You are a bloody third class citizen in Maryland

Beast of no origin

Quite unfortunately Tinubu is already defacto leader of the Yoruba people.

He's also one of the wealthiest people in this country today, how he continues to operate under the radar of the EFCC is what I just don't understand.
Is any one sure of exactly how much that mofo is worth?

I wish Kofo Bucknor would go into more detail

From the Look of our discussion so far and from the link below cant we see that the war was as result of political greed from both sides.

And my question still Remains
should the memories of people that lost their lives in this political war be left to go down the drain?
The people that are dead dont have any memory left

Hoe do we preserve the memories of dead people?

What are you talking about?
