Politics / Re: Why Do FG Shut Down All Refineries Few Months To Dangote Refinery Commission ? by fulanimafia: 11:23am On Sep 11, 2020
ThatFairGuy1:

This isn't about supporting but being logical.
FG is not stopping anyone from having Refinery!
Especially when Dangote's own won't even be sufficient.

Specifically, our total daily consumption is 409k barrels per day. Dangote's capacity is 650k BPD. BUA is adding another 200k+ BPD in 2023 bringing us to a combined 800k BPD (twice our total needs).

This will not only make us self sufficient, but will make Nigeria a net exporter of Petroleum products. This will also create hundreds of thousands of direct and indirect jobs (mostly in the SW & SS).

Good news for the Naira and the Nigerian economy as a whole.

Were the refineries operating optimally or at all under 16 years of PDP and 6 years of Jona?

Didn't a french company just announced the other day to build another massive refinery and petrochemical plant in Akwa Ibom? Or PMB was also protecting Dangote when he gave the french company licence to build refinery and petrochemical plant?

Exactly. Jonathan and his crew actually deliberately sabotaged the refineries so that that their fraudulent oil swap and subsidy deals could continue. Don't mind the mindless hypocrites.

@ emboldened: Actually its BUA that got the license to build another 300k BPD refinery in Akwa Ibom. So if its the Fulani element in the ownership of these mega refineries that's giving Igbos heartache and bitterness then I feel very sorry for them.

I thought he doesn't bleed... Whether Boko Haram, killer herdsmen, IPOB or Ethnic Militia, he who lives by the gun will surely die by the gun.

Especially when that person begins to drag immortality with his Almighty. Good riddance and the killer's supporters should beware of a similar fate.

Let me give my opinion which may not necessarily be true but it constitute my opinion on the subject at hand.

APC will hardly loose 2023 election here in North.

Atiku who's a fulani man will contest under PDP and would likely fail.

It's natural that some northerners will opt to vote for Atiku because he's a fulani just like any other tribe will opt to vote for their brother.

But the majority will stand with APC we don't play tribal politics unlike the east that tribalism has be strongly rooted in their political ideology.

Buhari only need to focuse more on the north... He need to wake up and address the economy, security and uncompleted projects.

The north will strongly vote for Tinubu or Osibanjo.
He only need to pick a very strong running mate.

The only Buhari need to do now is to try and win our people for Tinubu.

2023 is for APC only... Only if they will sit up.

Endorsed!

Atiku will be disgraced again in his polling unit.

Osinbajo/Tinubu is the ticket to beat in the North.

APC might not be excellent in all areas, but PDP has nothing to offer Nigeria.

In this case by contrast, the investigation ended up in an indictment & the suspects have been charged to court.

The claims by the us are largely unfounded. If so why didn’t prosecute kuku instead or deporting him back. Onyema connection is also unfounded and all speculation. On one hand they say he took loans and used it for personal stuffs then next they say he got money from kuku’s Alleged embezzled funds. All this yet with not proof. Just allegations.

He was deported, and yes they have proof, including the fake documents used. They have already been tendered in court.

It seems you dont realise Onyema and his chief finance officer have already been charged to court.

Shebi that was how you people cooked up allegations that FBI said Allen Onyema was using his airline to move drugs and narcotics sometime last year and the FBI came out to refute it that they never said anything like that. The US Justice of Department will still come out and refute this one and you will bury your fulani head in shame!

Damburo!!

It is a continuation of last years case. Read the post again.

Nobody refuted anything.

In November last year, the United States DOJ in a statement announced Mr. Onyema’s indictment and charge for bank fraud and money laundering for moving more than $20 million from Nigeria through United States bank accounts in a scheme involving false documents based on the purchase of airplanes.

Bro while you might have a point, it does not erase the fact that Kingsley Kuku and Onyema are suspected fraudsters wanted by the Feds for money laundering and other financial crimes.

Furthermore, according to an official US Government website, Aluko like Onyema, has been under investigation for his activities so they never turned a blind eye.

So the US Department of Justice is lying on Onyema?

Who is talking of bank loans when the US Authorities have documents as evidence, showing direct purchases by Onyema from US Aviation companies using cash stolen by Kingsley Kuku and channeled through him to be laundered.

POLICE in Rivers state have said the irate youths who killed two Hausa settlers in Oyigbo town, Oyigbo Local Government Area, were not members of Indigenous People of Biafran (IPOB) as suspected by eyewitnesses.

“Investigation has been ordered in a bid to unravel identities of those that carried out the act. So for now labelling them IPOB is out of place. In the first place, there is nothing like IPOB.

“IPOB has been proscribed so nobody can operate under the guise of IPOB. IPOB in law is non-existent. What we are saying is that it has no legal backing.”

The facts in the report are clear.

1. Innocent, unarmed Nigerians were attacked in the East and killed by armed youths.

2. The only reason that they offered to vindicate IPOB isn't that the killers were not IPOB members or that the Eastern killings didn't happen as initially reported, but that IPOB has been proscribed.

3. However we all know IPOB have been active and holding meetings in the East, one of which degenerated into a deadly clash wherein security agents and some IPOB members were killed. In the aftermath of the killings, many Easterners rejected the proscription and asserted the "right" of IPOB members to gather despite their proscription, which makes this vindication on the basis of their proscription very questionable.

With this re-emphasis on their proscribed status, it is therefore expected that all security forces do everything possible to destroy completely, any remnants of the proscribed terrorist organisation to prevent any future killings of Nigerians in that region. Thankfully, the case is still under investigation and I trust our respected Police Force and other security agencies to deliver.
