Politics / Re: IMO 2023: Aisha Abubakar Achonu May Become The First Fulani First Lady In East by fulanimafia: 9:09am On Nov 11, 2023
We were on our own when he crossed all the Ada and Nkechi’s to travel all the way to Zamfara to seek our daughters hand in marriage.

Now we are about to have a foot in Imo Govt House and you’re wailing.

WesternPanzer:
What kind of useless inciting topic is this? Don't we have an Igbo first lady in Ondo?

Whoever created this thread is a slowpoke.

By the way, this does not refute the fact that we don't like Fulanis and will never like them. We don't hate them either.

They should just be on their own and we will be on our own.

SensualMan:
I thought Nigeria belong to the cows? grin grin

So fulani herdsmen will finally be ran out of an abode they've called home for centuries?

The only good thing about this mediocre government is they are determined to cut the fulani dominance to size, unfortunately the same fulani gave baba majority of votes.

When the yoruba government of Tinubu finish dealing with the fulani's the next time they see a yoruba man they will bow before him.

One more thing Tinubu government need to do for us is to reclaim Ilorin as a yoruba state. We must reclaim Kwara from the Hausa/fulani's who stole our lands.

Wike u have the full support of the President to deal with these ragtag fulani people.

Ride on!

Politics / Re: Mary Beth Leonard Denies Purported List Of Nigerians Banned From The US by fulanimafia: 5:44am On Sep 17, 2020
Sowore is a very irresponsible journalist going by this clarification.

So since all visa sanctions are classified US state secrets, how then did Prophet Sowore miraculously gain access to "the list" to the extent of reeling out names with confidence?

ecolime:
How is it fake news? The statement only reveal that the list of banned officials is confidential and not that its a lie.

It's not in the public domain but insiders or associates of the affected Politicians could have divulged it to SR.

Foul.

Read again. There is no list.

“as US visa processes are in fact confidential and so we do not publish a list"...

Kudos to the indefatigable Rotimi Amaechi.

He was 44 when Buhari won his first election.

He has a good chance, although Osibanjo from his camp would be a better candidate.

Tedpgrass:

An apologist's take on things, If I may say so....

The NBA's stance leading to this poorly crafted reprisal, should be supported..
As it highlighted the ongoing blight under Elruf's watch... Statewide and within his household..

I'm certain an avenue to mitigate the negative outcomes or repeal this decision, will be identified soon.

.

It highlighted nothing in actual fact.

All it did was naively validate the regional sentiments of a section of its membership, who clearly used their sectional majority, to start an online petition based on mere allegations, that garnered a significant amount of like minded colleagues' signatures which was subsequently adopted by the leadership. An action whose consequences are being felt now.

The clear evidence of bias and lack of neutrality in the leadership's decision which pandered to sectional interests, has robbed the body of its national outlook, and its not farfetched to consider the AGF's decision as reflective of this fact.

Very very good news.

All must be done to encourage economic diversification.

Zamfara with the lowest federal allocation is about to get a whole lot richer.

NBA caused its disintegration. Next time, pick your battles. It's not all wars that you go to.

NBA brought politics into a professional body, now FG is bringing politricks. Once again, pick your battles well.

Exactly.

The inexperienced new NBA leadership allowed itself to be railroaded into taking an ill thought and insensitive decision based on ordinary unsubstantiated allegations, without weighing the consequences.

I hope they're able to deal with this situation amicably because it does not augur well for the future of the hitherto noble association.

Personally, I think if a tribe, a majority one like Igbo cannot be allowed to rule, then let them go their separate ways...

I think most people from that region do not understand the concepts of democracy or politics.

If they did, they would understand that nobody "allows" anyone to rule. Positions must be contested for and won through majority votes which are earned by playing pragmatic politics.

A poor grasp, failure or refusal to understand this fundamental principle means they will continue going around in circles for the foreseeable future.

Tell that to the birds.

If they don't support BH, how come they gain access to the communities there, and sabotage the location of the army?

Continue deceiving yourself.

So who do you think make up the civilian JTF that have been hunting and killing Boko Haram members in their hundreds? Are they not community members? Because some terrorists infiltrate the communities does not mean the communities support them. Your assumptions are highly preposterous.

Do you even realise BH was founded in and remains based in just 3 out of 19 states in the North?

Disabuse your mind and think.

In your very small mind all Igbos are ipob?

Are the northerners not supporting Boko bandits? Who gives them amnesty?

Even they have to face their Biafra will the "Zoo mind their business and take their python dance to Boko haram getting closer to Abuja?

I know your deep hypocrisy will get better of you as usual in answering this question.

Northerners are not supporting Boko Haram, and it's an indictment on your reasoning for you to think they are despite being at the brunt of 90% of their attacks.

Neither do they support the amnesty. Where did the bulk of criticism against the rehabilitation come from? Was it not the north east who could not bear the ridiculousness of catering for mindless killer's when they (north easterners) were only just trying to pick up the pieces of their lives?

Indeed you must face your Biafra and find how to get it through diplomatic means or the python will definitely come to party. You have no business with the "Zoo".

Your fearmongering and hypocrisy is highly detestable..

So Igbos are now ipob?

Why did they north get it...are they not Boko people?

You need more education and exposure, bro cheesy

What do you mean by "Boko people"

Boko Haram are terrorists from the north east, that kill northerners more than anyone else so how can they be same with all northerners?

Face Biafra and let the "Zoo" sort out her Presidency.

THIS IS GOOD NEWS. MAY WE ALL BE ALIVE TO WITNESS THE GREATNESS OF NIGERIA

Amen my brother. Apart from the forex that will be generated and ploughed back from the exports, just imagine the effect of ending our daily dollar bleed wasted on importing Petroleum. The effect on the exchange rate will be simply dramatic and the multiplier effects are better seen than imagined.

Honestly the economic projection for Nigeria in the next 10 years going by present efforts and sacrifices, is so bright that it seems like a fairytale, but the truth is numbers don't lie. I just wish we could get this insecurity sorted out.
