I gave to my twin boys yesterday April 23 . Twin 1 came 5:35am, 1.99 while twin 2 came ten minutes after, 2.12kg......36+6 days .both babies are doing incredible. I've started nursing sef. vaginal delivery with epi and tear ( despite being tiny)

I had a membrane sweep on that Wednesday, and I had been feeling contractions but they were irregular. I managed till Thursday night when my mom called and I described how I was feeling to her ( back to stomach contractions) she asked us to go the hospital, that was around 9pm o...
I was checked and I was only 2cm dilated but my cervix was soft. the doctor then gave me medication for the pain and asked me to rest. I was jejely sleeping on my own o with slight contractions when I just felt a pop ( infact, I heard it). it was hot and plenty. At around 3am, the nurse then took me to the labour room, checked me, I was 6cm, she was surprised.. I started growling and begging for medication, I was in so much pain and agony. the contractions came and kept coming. nurse said she would check me by 6am. 3 hours felt like forever. by 5:10am, I started having the urge to push, she asked me not to that I could tear my cervix, I tried but it was so hard not to push. at 5:35 twin A came, his brother came 10 minutes after. vaginal delivery. may God take control of our births

Our prince charming made his grand entrance this morning at about 1:05am weighing 2.7kg with minor tears.
Labour took about 3hours.
EDD May 11, 2021... DOB April 24, 2021.

Mamas please I noticed some fluid on my bed this morning. As i turned on my side a little more trickled out, at first I thought I had peed myself, but I touched and smelt it, it was not urine. I turned on the light and it was clear fluid. I've been looking out since that time but i haven't experienced it again. Should I be worried??

Doctor said its big. And I need to come for admission to be induced before next week or CS. I'm scared but we leave everything to Allah. He will surely see us through

Me went for scan today, baby is measuring 39weeks+ (3.84kg)and I'm 38 weeks by lmp. Baby is head down but cervix still closed . Im finally registering today at Dr ismail Afolabi(director at oba ademola) hospital. They said to come back this evening. Chai u don see mucus . Where is my own mucus oooooo. Cos the baby weight dey scare me.

May is almost here & we can't help but be grateful to God for the journey so far. I believe our bags are packed and nursery set. Come in & tell us your symptoms for the remaining weeks. I clocked 37weeks & BH contractions has been the order of the day. Swift delivery to all preggy mums.

Cappo thanks for checking up on us, scan says am 37 weeks but by LMP am 35 weeks, BH is so strong, tiredness, high BP, backache are now part of my package, bag is fully packed... Can't wait to meet my miracle babies

It seems my stomach is directly on my heart. There is no space in my stomach again. . Im hungry but heartburn won't let me eat. My stomach has shrunk no space again. I'm 37 weeks already and all I get is backache and BH. May teamies hope your case are better?

The measurement is suppose to tally with the number of weeks you are. But it's perfectly okay, if the tape measures two inches ahead or 2 inches below. For instance now that your 35 weeks the measurement should be around 32inches to 37 inches. The only problem is when you measure 3 inches above or below your due date. If the measurement is small it may mean that the baby is not growing properly while an higher number may mean that the baby is too big for his gestational age. But take note the there are several factors that affect the size of your baby bump, the position of the baby, your height e.t c can make the measurement below or above the gestational age. When I was pregnant with my second child, I measured 27 weeks at 30 weeks, the doctor was concerned and asked me to carry out a scan just to be sure that everything was alright, the scan measurement gave 30weeks, so there was no cause to worry because scan proved that my baby was right at her gestational age.

Its a practice contractions. You tummy will get very hard for few seconds/minutes then relax back. It can be mild or a little painful.

I am currently going through this, FTM jjc like me was so worried yesterday infact I plan to visit the hospital today because it was painful

In other news, I don't know what they call this tape rule measurement they usually do at every antenatal clinic, The thing measured 37 weeks on Tuesday as against 35 weeks, sabi mamas how accurate is this tape rule measurement?
