ifex370:no no no! The church has lost nothing cause they had nothing before for those who are in the know. Christ said at MATTHEW 7:16,17 "that by their fruits you will recognize them...and that every good tree produces fine fruit." Many profess to worship God in truth and spirit but by their conduct you will know who they are. |
HerE in Otuasega CommuniTY in Bayelsa state goes for between 18 to 20hrs a day since 29th of December to this very now. Quite an improvement from hardly 3hrs a day previously. Who knows maybe our protest here worked coupled with the state assembly summoning and quizzing of the PhEDC management in Yenagoa. |

They are currently sending vehicles back on the east-west road |
Right now the ELELE - AXIS of the easta-west road in Rivers state has been block by youths of Elele. According to them, the said the. Port Harcourt electricity distribution company came and cut off their power supply from their communities. This is the reason for their protest and blockade. They also said that they are hosting IOC's like SPDC and ELF in their communities with hundreds of oil wells and yet no light. So they said until PHEDC reconnect them their staff and vehicle will not leave including US oh. |

The governorship candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in Rivers State, Tonye Princewill, has accused Governor Rotimi Amaechi of selling the state’s assets to an indigenous oil company, Sahara Energy, and using the fund that accrued from the sale to finance the activities of the All Progressives Congress, APC. PREMIUM TIMES recently reported how assets such as Olympia Hotel, Abonemma Wharf, Risonpalm and the power generating stations in the state were sold to Sahara Energy. Mr. Princewill alleged that the over $800 million realized from the sale of the assets was never lodged into the coffers of the state government. “Money changed hands but the accounts they entered were not necessarily Rivers state government’s officially operated accounts,” he said. He also alleged that there is no evidence of competitive tendering, independent valuation or a transparency in the entire process, arguing that the “Rivers people cannot be sure they got a good deal”. “In one instance approximately $400 million changed hands over an asset that could easily be worth twice that. Why the secrecy?” he said. Mr. Princewill, who said he worked for the success of Mr. Amaechi during his election in 2007, also accused the governor of using threat and intimidation to force the sale of the assets to Sahara Energy after the company began to develop cold feet funding the politics of an opposition party. “Incidentally the partners in the company (who were) uncomfortable with the obvious attempt to finance the politics of Amaechi hesitated to approve the transactions. “But a prompt threat from the Rivers Government made them rethink. Can anyone say they did not know what the money would be used for? “Amaechi is one of the chief financiers of the APC election and a close ally of Buhari,” he said. He also accused the Rivers governor of using some of the proceeds of the sale to launch international propaganda for the 2015 election. “Information reaching me is that international media organizations have already been paid in USD from these transactions to come and cover the 2015 elections in a Tahrir square strategy. “The aim of the opposition is to gather crowds in a single location and beam pictures around the world creating the impression that the whole country is in chaos,” Mr. Princewill said. Efforts to get the Rivers Information Commissioner, Ibim Semenitari, to react to the allegations were unsuccessful. She did not return calls and sms sent to her at the time of publishing. . www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/173623-amaechi-sold-rivers-asset-fund-apc-buhari-tonye-princewill.html

Let God's Will take place is all I can say concerning the next years |
By Bonaventure Phillips Melah Saturday February 14, 2015 is Valentine’s Day. That day, millions of Nigerians would be out on the streets to choose the nation’s leader. But former President Olusegun Obasanjo will not vote that day. This is because he has no candidate. It is quite true that Obasanjo is finished with President Goodluck Jonathan, yet the man cannot endure a Muhammadu Buhari presidency. So he would stay at home while Nigerians vote. If Obasanjo decides to go out at all, he will deliberately void his vote by thumb- printing at the wrong place. Then on Sunday February 15, while the result of the election is still being awaited with Nigeria already enveloped with tension, Obasanjo will make a public statement that the election failed to meet minimum international standard. Obasanjo will say that the election was rigged, marred with violence and other fraudulent practices. Then he will call for outright cancellation of the 2015 Presidential Election. In its place, Obasanjo will suggest the setting up of a Government of National Unity. This is the project Obasanjo is currently working on. Why? I had moved from Leadership Newspaper to New Sentinel Newspaper in 2006. With the motivation that Uche Ezechukwu brought into the newsroom, New Sentinel moved like a bulldozer. We were out there looking for the big stories. Obasanjo’s third term bid was in the air and later collapsed. He was now focused on his ‘Plan B’ which was to install a Puppet Government that he would control from behind (El-Rufai equally stated this in his book: THE ACCIDENTAL PUBLIC SERVANT). Then this story came. A top security leader who had been in the system for a long time and who was working with Obasanjo at that time gave us this massive lead that Obasanjo was planning to install Katsina State Governor Umaru Musa Yar’Adua as the president to succeed him. The source who is still a top security leader in the current government, told us that Obasanjo had on his table, a Security Report on Yar’Adua which revealed clearly that the then Katsina State Governor was having terminal illness. Uche Ezechukwu ran the story with a screaming headline OBASANJO’S SECRET AGENDA: TO INSTALL A SICK PRESIDENT ON NIGERIA. The story was done with a byline we called Mojid Mustafa. While working with Sentinel, I equally did covert reporting with Elendureports.com for which I did a follow up on the Yar’Adua story. Really love the instructor/lecturer kind of job opportunity |
Am interested but where is their office located |
Contrary to the swirling rumour that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has settled for the Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Ameachi, as the running mate to its presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, THISDAY can confirm that there is no such thing for now. Although a few of the governors met earlier friday, the meeting, THISDAY learnt, was not in any way connected with the choice of who becomes the presidential running mate. On the contrary, a source at the meeting said the meeting which held at the instance of the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, was a routine parley of the APC election planning committee usually hosted by Amaechi. Those at the meeting included Fashola, Amaechi, Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, former Kwara State Governor, Senator Bukola Saraki, National Publicity Secretary of the party, Alhaji Lai Muhammed, and Hon. Dino Melaye amongst other national officers of the APC. Whilst the party leadership is however said to be concluding plans on the choice of the running mate, it is yet to come up with anyone from amongst those already shortlisted. www.thisdaylive.com/articles/apc-yet-to-pick-buharis-running-mate/196520/ |
