Hmmm @Eposho, if only some of us REALLY knew what the word "CLUELESS" means, we would not abuse its usage here. |
I do not know whether to call it a C-in-C posture or a swaggalicious GEJ. Besides Presidents Obama and Putin that normally swag their visits when in company of their troops, I think President Jonathan is putting up some swag here. This I think will leave lasting impression/memory of his visit on his boys in Borno state. I see him relaxed, confident on his troops and unpertubed at all. Let's here your own caption

patrickmuf:Did you say BARCANISTA is INCONSEQUENTIAL bro? Well if he is then there would not have been any need for this thread in the first place. Don't you think so? Besides check the COMMENTS( over 60) and VIEWS( over 1000) on this thread alone and tell me which other character on NL can draw up this kind of inquisition in less than 24hrs. It is so unfortunate that whatever is done today, some tag you a 'MONIKER' instead of looking from a non-partisan view. Well, patrickmuf, FUN4 is nobody's moniker here on NL and please go through all my posts and tell me where FUN4 took sides with APC or the PDP. Despite being an IZONman, is it not my right to elect to be neutral or ask questions about the pro-APC or the pro-PDP. I like politics section on NL because it is the melting pot of NL. No day passes by I failed to visit to get the latest news from forum members and BARCANISTA is one guy I followed his write-ups despite being pro-APC then. So my Oga at the top, when did wanting to know him some more become a sin to be described as one of his 'troll?' Without this thread how would I have known that he is Izon from Okirika. His Nigerio-political views are simply PAN-NIGERIAN and I believe that has endeared him to many on NL that are neutral. I have achieved what I sought out to achieved with this thread and I have no apology to you or anybody. And I would be giving a thorough analysis and conclusion about this thread on the 23rd day of February, 2015. He is one fellow that has OVER 300 people following him on NL so please check to see if all of them too are paid by BARCANISTA to follow him on what he believes and stands for - the last time I check OUR DARLING OBIAGELI was still following him. |
barcanista:Am humbled Bro for your simplicity and well articulated response. Hearing straight from you puts me in a FIRM position to form MY OWN opinion about you. And my sincere opinion is that BARCANISTA IS A PAN-NIGERIAN. I have friends in Okirika, Ibitein, Ibanibo, Siki and Co and am looking forward to the day we meet as my closest point is Yenagoa. You are well followed here on NL Bro. |
asadike:This must mean BARCANISTAISM if I get you correctly? |
Barcanista are you there? |
dein77:Thanks am getting there. Barcanista is Izon? Whoa! |
Young03:Hahahhahaha! Young03, you have just been mentioned and accorded due respect today. |
patmaine:Now details are sprouting up. Barcanista has a nemesis, Dalote, on NL? Please can others confirm this assertion from Patmaine by hitting 10LIKES and/or reject with 10SHARES? |
ozoigbondu:Thanks but you sound like one of his confidante. I appreciate as this gives a clue already. |
ozoigbondu:Hmmm! Bro you are really talking like someone that is his confindante. I appreciate as this is giving some clues. |
PhockPhockMan:Mr PhockPhockMan I see you! I did bro before putting up this thread as well for more info on this man. This was what I got from google, you can also check it out. But it still does not address our questions above. www.google.com/m?q=barcanista&client=ms-opera-mini&channel=new |
PapiWata:Ahhh Izon! I greet you! |
Quote1:Hack you say? Hmmm? |
Have been on NL since last year, read and also contributed to lots of write-ups, seen different shades of opinions and characters as well but the name BARCANISTA is just too recurring on NL especially, politics section, for me to sweep under the carpet. It is nighly obvious that besides SEUN the name BARCANISTA is the most popular name in this section and could compete favourably in all NL other sections. No doubt that when I elect to read his articles, most show his passion and the articulate way he pushes for what he stands for. Some friends of mine I introduce to NL are intrigued by this character, BARCANISTA, especially the females and as such hope like to meet him someday. The events of last week have further buttressed the position taken by some Nairalanders, where the name BARCANISTA alone was mentioned more than fifty times by the Protagonists and the Antagonists; yet little is known about this character on NL. So I ask these questions in behalf of us: 1. Who is this Barcanista? 2. Where is he from? 3. What does he do? 4. Why does he take the positions he does that portray him controversial? 5. When do we meet and know his real identity? |
IfyAwazie:hahaha! Just like when husband and wife quarrel, you want to be careful not to take sides. |
GboyegaD:Are you so sure? Be sure that you are not mistaking humility for weakness. |
Emypresh:Just right |
President Jonathan says despite former Pres. Obasanjo's recent verbal attacks on his administration, he still sees him as his father and his first Political son. GEJ said God used people, including the former president to make him become the President of Nigeria. President Jonathan said this in an interview with Tribune in Lagos "First and foremost, Obasanjo is a father to me. By divine providence and the grace of God, I am the President of Nigeria today. It is not by my strength. But God uses human beings to actualise His own blessings on human beings. And He used so many Nigerians, including former President Obasanjo, to play one role or the other for me. I became the deputy governor of a state, became the governor, the vice president and president. I have no issues with him, and I really don’t want to join issues with President Obasanjo. I think it is not necessary. But I will use this opportunity, because you asked, to just plead with my father that he is a leader, a former president of the country. He has led the country more than anybody, eight years of democratic governance and almost four years of military governance. No other person has that kind of record. The stability of this country is critical in terms of the economy of this country. Rating agencies downgrade countries that are going into elections because the feeling is that there would be crisis. When you paint the colour of instability for your own nation, you are doing so much injustice to the country because it affects the economy of the country, not just affecting the country in terms of security and social issues alone. It affects the economy directly. So, I plead with very senior citizens that Nigeria is dear to us; we don’t have any other country than Nigeria. So, actions and inactions, or utterances, should be guarded so that we don’t expose our country to the international community as if it is a country in danger, a country that is about to collapse. You are frightening investors, especially those who invest hot cash, to pull out their money from the country and that would affect the stock market and it would affect the economy. For one reason or the other, Obasanjo may disagree with me as his first political son. You can even disagree with your own biological children, as a human being, not to talk of disagreeing with your political children. So, he can agree or disagree with me, but the utterances have to be managed in a way that it does not affect the economy and security of this country"he said. On how he felt watching Chief Obasanjo destroy his PDP membership card on the television, Jonathan said the incident had no effect on him because the attacks had been consistent. . www.lindaikeji..com/2015/02/obasanjo-is-father-to-me-and-i-am-his.html |
This is really hilarious indeed. Nothing we won't see in this dying system of things. Imagine if this were to be in Nigeria. Trust that the authorities won't let her do that. ........................................................................................... A Colombian woman has won a two-year battle to change her name to every letter in the alphabet. The 36-year-old, who lives in the Colombian capital Bogota, according to DailyMail, has a habit of regularly changing her name depending on her mood and prior to the latest change was known as Ladyzunga Cyborg. She teaches art and photography at three universities as well as designing fashion on the side. She also has a passion for fetish clothes and bondage events and said she always feels the need to constantly 'redefine' herself and felt that it was now appropriate to have a name that was hard to say. She said: 'I've changed my name so people wouldn't know it's me. But it's not because I was disturbed by it but because I wanted to always bring an element of surprise.' Ms Uvwxyz, admitted that officials had often raised eyebrows at her unusual names, but that her latest name change to become Abcdefg Hijklmn Opqrst Uvwxyz had involved her biggest battle yet. Adding that she had been fighting red tape for two years in order to finally get approval to now call herself Abcdefg Hijklmn Opqrst Uvwxyz. . www.lailasblog.com/2015/02/photos-woman-wins-fight-to-change-her.html?m=1 |
AgentOfAllah:Your own opinionated analysis is welcome. But you did not afford us one. |
This just cannot be true. Why and what reason would they advance for this? |
One thing some persons( APC or PDP supporters) have failed to acknowledge is that not everybody making an informed opinion on certain issues is a PDP or APC partyman and it is really sad. That is why in the US they have what is called the independent candidates which means that they don't belong to any political party. I made an informed observation and someone (an APC supporter) I guess is calling me a SATANoid because everything is now politics to them, even the truth. EVEN WHEN BARCANISTA( an ardent GMB and APC supporter) points out some anomalies in them. |
@DrPrickson, I think that information is in the public domain after the US pulling the plugs on all its allies on Nigeria |
