For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. ....... Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.  For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.  For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope...... For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have?  But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:14, 17-20, 24, 28

Today I understood the definition of hope that was mentioned in Hebrew 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things HOPEd for, the evidence of things not seen.

When you have food at home, you don't need to hope that you will eat. But when there's no food at home nor did anyone owe you money, if you can HOPE that you will eat, that's FAITH!

This hope whose evidence is in your faith does not happen to everyone except children of God who are also co-heirs with Christ and are LED by the Spirit of God.

Imagine how Christ felt at the cross when He cried "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?". Obviously, He was alone and could only HOPE that His agreement with the FAITHFUL GOD who led Him to the cross still stands.


Children of God who are led to a place/person and are passing through sufferings/ challenges for the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ should hope that they will also share in His glory because His word said that. "all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose".

Even if you don't see a solution in sight, if the light at the end of the tunnel is off, you're tired, Jesus was tired and fell, as long as you are a child of God and He led you to where you are (and not your pastor or your greed) let hope be kindled in you because His thoughts towards you is Good and faithful is He that promised.

The parable of the 10 talent said the master left for a long time. But eventually, He came.

KEEP HOPE ALIVE. HAVE FAITH.

HOLD ON. HE WILL COME.

In those days, Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased." The Spirit immediately drove him out into the wilderness. And he was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild animals, and the angels were ministering to him. Luke 1: 9-13

Jesus baptism experience must have been an exhilarating experience to him but what happened next will make a mortal man question if he actually heard God speak "or was it my imagination?".

God spoke straight from heaven at river Jordan but afterwards, wilderness, satan and wild animals took over. Thank God for the angels.

The angels here means that even on that journey of trials, there will be rays of light. times of refreshing so you won't be totally discouraged.

If you are on that kind of journey currently, if know the voice of your shepherd, please press on. There are days when you will ask The Father... "is this part of the journey or I've digressed?" But, still press on.

This message is for those who recognize the voice of their shepherd and who heard Him clearly. Not those who were told by someone that "God said".

Don't get me wrong, God can send someone to give you a message but the burden is on you to meet YOUR FATHER to confirm what He said. This confirmation keeps you standing till the end.

Your time might be 40days, 400 days, years, decades. No matter how long, you will overcome and come back rejoicing.

When we look at the parable of the talents, we took a lesson from the servant that went to bury his talent. Today, I want us to look at another angle that will bring God's anger.

If the servant that brought 10talents back has brought 9 talents, do you think that he will still be praised?

Philippians 4 :13 says we can do ALL things... Not some things, Not most things.

If Jesus had fulfilled part of the prophecy, His assignment would not be successful. No salvation

If the servants at the wedding in Canaan or Namaan the leper had obeyed partially, we won't have a testimony.

The fig tree showed leaves when he was supposed to show leaves AND fruit... It got cursed.

If God can say in revelation 3:15-16 that you should choose if you want to be got or cold....No middle ground, then you can be sure that He does not accept partial obedience.

Are you giving your all to the work of God or you are giving a portion? Don't look at the results from your efforts, is it your all?

I don't want people to say I am doing too much (but Jesus was scourged), I don't want others to look bad (they should step up), I don't like to be too tired after church (Jesus died). Don't forget, friendship with the world is enmity with God.

If God can give you His all, why will you give Him less?

Dear Child of God,

Do you know that when you are abiding under the shadow of the Almighty, you should not be walking around aimlessly? Jehosaphat was visiting someone who is sharing his inheritance with him.

Do you know that when the Lord is your shepherd, you should not connect to a network that God does not approve? How much more, someone who is in possession of your inheritance.


Several professional coaches and motivational speakers tells us "your network is your net worth" so some of us are looking for alliances at all cost not caring what God is saying concerning that person.

1 Kings 22:41-43 tells us that Jehosaphat did what was right in the sight of the Lord. Imagine God's surprise when his beloved Jehosaphat decided to "network" with his fellow king AHAB, JEZEBEL'S HUSBAND. HA!

Afterall, Ahab is king over 10 Israeli cities and Jehosaphat is king over 2 cities. So networking higher is the key. Right? Wrong!

King Jehosaphat got more than what he bargained for when he went to war with his new friend. That network connection nearly killed him if not for the mercy of God and he learnt his lesson.

He cautioned himself such that when Ahab's son wanted an alliance concerning ships, Jehosaphat said no. "Once bitten, twice shy".

You have started following your "friend" to events. Are you networking within the will of God or outside?

Please note, I am not saying that networking is wrong, but concerning a child of God, "all things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not". 1 Corinthians 10:23.

Let's be guided. Let your networking be like David and Jonathan to avoid "stories that touch" like Dinah.

I love Joseph. I don't know how he got his mindset , since the other children lack the same God-fearing mind, I can only conclude that he was taught by God Himself.



His story has taught me so many lessons, some of which are Humility, Patience, Joy at all times, etc.



Today's bible study is about Joseph's diligence to work after being promoted. His self discipline when faced with responsibilities after he has been blessed by God.



Genesis 41:40 tells us how important Joseph became in Egypt. Genesis 42: 6 made us to understand that he took his responsibility so serious that he did not assign it to anyone else.



As the "number 2" man in Egypt, Joseph was personally selling the grains. Wow!



Hello child of God, after God promoted you, that's when you won't even supervise the job you were assigned to do. You call in once-a-day and ask "is everything okay?". And you are crying that you did not carry out fraud. Sorry, collecting salary for what you did not do is fraud.



Hello child of God, you have 1 shop and 1 sales girl, suddenly, you can't get to the shop before 11am; and you're wondering why your business is not growing?



You have just 1 house help and suddenly, you can't do your primary duty in the house.



Let me ask you, who will be asked to give account for the job or business or family? Is it your colleagues at work? Your sales girl/boy, your house help or you?



Do you have the diligence to nurture what God has placed in your hands? Don't forget that whatever you lay your hands on shall prosper.



Add diligence to spiritual grace so that you will flourish like a tree planted by the rivers of water, whose leaves shall not wither and whatever he does shall prosper. So that when men are saying that there's a casting down, you will say that there's a lifting up.

On the following day, when they came from Bethany, he was hungry. And seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to see if he could find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. And he said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard it. Mark 11:12-14


As a young girl reading the bible, I have always wondered why Jesus will curse a tree that did not bear fruit out of season. As I understand the "kingdom principles", I came to understand why. The answer is in plain sight.


The answer is in Mark 11:12, Jesus was hungry. John 10:14 says "just as the Father knows me and I know the Father", this means that God the father knew that Jesus will be hungry when he is coming from Bethany and so would have prepared what Jesus will eat.


Please note, that if it is not a test (as Jesus got when he left the wilderness after 40 days, God will always prepare ahead of His children).


Meaning that the fig tree was given more-than-enough nutrients in order to produce out of season but it decided to stick to "that's how we do it" and brought out more and more leaves... instead of listening to "what the Spirit is saying" to the tree and use the extra to produce fruits.


Dear Christian, I know you might not accept this but there is a level you reach is Christ that you will realize that we are not called to follow the bible. We are called to follow Christ.


The paragraph above does not mean the bible is thrown in the trash (it would already be a part of you).... it means that there are some instructions (not a sin) that the spirit of God will give you that will not be normal.


The fig tree used the extra blessing it got to look good... same as the rich man who had a bountiful harvest and God killed him.


Child of God, do you see that pattern? If you receive favour from God, don't buy more things, or expand your barn, bless others. That is why we are encouraged to acknowledge Him in all of our ways so He will and He shall direct our path.


Let God approve your plans...ALL of it, not most of your plans....ALL, including your giving, acknowledge Him. So you won't take a wrong step that can get you cursed.


Also let your enjoyment after a blessing receive approval from above so that you don't get cursed for being selfish. We will all give account of all heaven's resources in our care.

When I read the above passage, I remembered the war in Ukraine. A president's (king) decision caused the war.

Life and death decisions are made every second of the day by leaders (president, governor, councillor, chairmen, kings, chiefs, fathers, mother's, etc)


David,  was a king that God chose Himself in 1Samiel 16 but he is still a man who "got moved" by Satan to act in a way that 70,000 men of Israel fell in one night (1Chronicles 21: 14). A king that was loved, who got the support of the majority of Israelites and was prayed for (probably) made a very costly decision.


Now, how do you think a king that was disliked/cursed by his nation will behave? 


It is time for us to pray for our leaders; from the lowest level in our homes/communities to the highest level. The masses suffer for their good or bad decisions. 


Our bible chapter did not say any of David's sons died, the war in Ukraine has not killed any son of both presidents; only children of the masses.

The decision of a leader caused so many military operations in Eastern Nigeria, the civil war, June 12 saga,Endsars bloodshed, etc.


Can you still curse your leaders or you will now pray for God to grant them wisdom 24/7, bring Godly men around them and cause them to fear Him at all times.


Let's say a word of prayer for our leaders. They will be filled with heavenly wisdom in Jesus name. Amen.

We all grew up with the story of how Hannah made a vow and fulfilled it and God saw her faithfulness and gave her 5 more children..

Today's bible reading should tell us that ELKANAH is (as footballers call it) the real GOAT (Greatest Of All Times). Why? How?

The answers are in Leviticus 27 and Numbers 30..... they explained how a husband can accept or refuse the vow of his wife even unto God and how the to redeem a VOW and the value attached to each type of object to be redeemed. Meanwhile an offering cannot be redeemed (vs 28).

Instead of requesting that his wife redeem her vow with money, he told her in 1 Samuel 1 vs 23 that "do what seems best for you". It today's language, it means " will it make you happy my love? Then okay"

Yes, Hannah made the vow that was to bring the great Prophet Samuel, but Elkanah's refusal (because this is the only child from his beloved wife Hannah) would have aborted his arrival.

Rather, Elkanah's love for his wife and acceptance of her decision to give Samuel to God was what brought the fruitfulness of 5 more children to Hannah.

NOTE:
1. Elkanah's consent took the priesthood from the tribe of Levi to the tribe of Ephraim.

2. Elkanah's consent ensured that God had a replacement when all seeds of Prophet Eli's loins were not God-quality.

Lagos—Standing at a live animal market in Lagos, Nigeria, Chinedu Mogbo was faced with a difficult decision. Buy a pangolin to save that animal’s life or watch someone else buy the pangolin and know that the animal would meet a gruesome end. He would face criticism either way. There was no good decision, only one that was less bad.

So he bought the pangolin.

“People tell us that, yes, paying for it, you’re supporting the trade,” said Mogdo. “And I said I know these things. But I’ve stood there before many times, and I stare sadly with my camera recording. When I do nothing, what happens? In the short space of 10 minutes, sometimes, they kill it there.”

Mogdo is the director of the Green Fingers Wildlife Initiative, a sustainability and conservation organization located in Lagos. Green Fingers rescues wildlife from the hands of poachers, meat markets, hunters, and fishermen, and brings these animals to a safe space where they can thrive.

That safe space is the Green Fingers wildlife zoological and botanical gardens, a home for dozens of species faced with the threat of extinction due to habitat destruction and poaching. Here, these animals don’t just live in peace, they thrive. The garden is open to children, animal lovers, and researchers tasked with learning as much valuable information as they can in order to save these animals from disappearing forever.


Green Fingers also uses its resources to educate the public on the need for wildlife conservation for environmental reasons and human health. As Mogdo observed, with the narrow separation between the human species and other animals, more diseases are now jumping from animals to people. But education is much easier said than done because many Nigerians lack the foundation for understanding these issues.

Words like ‘critically endangered’ and ‘threatened’ are not ones that the average Nigerian knows. And that’s not being hyperbolic, they literally don’t understand what they mean.

When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany,he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. Luke 24

Luke 24 started with the resurrection, this brought great joy to his disciples, then He appeared to them and even ate.... I'm sure they would be assured that He is back with them and everything will be as it was before His crucifixion.

Then, He took them on a stroll and that was the last they saw of Him.

Then Act 1: 10-11 said "And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?"

The disciples were so sure that Christ has risen to stay with them that they stood at that point looking at the sky....waiting that He will come back and continue the conversation.

My lesson from this is that sometimes, what we think is a concluding victory is just chapter 1 of the whole saga. We will not be weak or weary on this journey to heaven in Jesus name. We receive grace to follow Him till the end. Amen.

She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family. For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah. 1 Kings 17: 15- 16.

This morning, the word of God came to me concerning this season we are. The land is in famine and so many people are starving but God still make provisions for His own people.

Elijah was at the brook for a while and he was fed with bread and meat ONLY (morning and night). After a while, he was led to a widow with flour and oil ONLY. This means that it was bread everyday.

Have you been eating the same thing everyday during this season and you feel abandoned by God? Note what Prophet Elijah was eating.

When God was preserving Elijah do you think he was the only prophet in Isreal? I Kings 18 tells us about Obadiah who kept 100 prophets and fed them with food and water. Do you think they had a buffet? They were even in hidding (isolation). God is always mindful of His own.

Note, that God kept them but the bible did not tell us that they were in abundance.

I want us to look at that garri, bread, fish, crayfish stew, same same everyday and thank God from the bottom of our heart because He is keeping us and our home. Who are we that God is mindful of us?

And in our little, let's not forget to look out for those who are starving. Let us sow even in this famine and see God reward us. I am a witness.

The actions of King Darius and King Artaxerxes from the book of Ezra spoke to me loudly once again about the supremacy of God....Kabiyesi (who can question Him?).

The bible passage above tells us God does not want offerings from an unholy work but the book of Ezra tells us about heathen kings who funded (with gold and all taxes due to them), the rebuilding of the temple at Jesrusalem.

The world is quick to criticize a pastor that collected money from a yahoo boy/corrupt employee......yes, the bible says that it is wrong..... (just as the bible passage above said it, just as God asked the Israelites not to work on Sabbath and Jesus did)......still, Ezra collected from a gentile.

You can't box God that "He always acts this way and only this way". God commanded King Cyrus of Persia to build the temple in Ezra 1. He did not ask a Jew to fund it....God asks the person who He has given His wealth (though a gentile).

Ask yourself before you make that criticism ....will this comment save me or kill me? If that person you criticize is acting from Godly instruction, you just killed yourself o.

May our utterances always be Holy-Spirit-led so we don't speak in the flesh and perish. .....for His ways are not our ways.

Afterthought: Is God giving you instruction and you are busy saying its against the word of God? Uncle/aunty, if you can confirm that it is your shepherd's voice, obey now.

When we pray for breakthrough, most times we have a picture of what the pattern might be.

You work for the government so you pray to end your career as a top guy

You work for a private firm, you want to be MD.

You are an artisan, you pray for government contracts.

You are a student, get highest CGPA and work for a multinational

And so on.

Today's bible passage tells us that we will never be able to guess where God will take us to.

My mind went to Joseph; if he was praying for deliverance, it will either to be set free from jail which means he will go home empty handed or that Potiphar will see the truth and reinstate him as chief servant which means he is not free to go home.

But God has a better and bigger plan. Joseph will never (in his wildest dream) have imagined that end.

The General Overseer of RCCG wished to be the youngest Vice Chancellor in Africa....but look at who he is now with Christ.

It's good to dream but it's better to also be busy while you wait on God..... And as you wait, walk with God, be diligent in your works, be the salt, be the light, be holy and God himself will rise for your sake and you will be THE miracle.

But when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites and the people of Ashdod heard that the repairs to Jerusalem’s walls had gone ahead and that the gaps were being closed, they were very angry. They all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem and stir up trouble against it. Nehemiah 4:7-8

When the mockers heard that someone wants to do good to the Israelites, they were disturbed, they now looked for a way to make the Israelites stop, make the Israelites ashamed, the mockers started laughing at the Israelites. When they saw that their mockery yielded nothing and the job was being done, they showed their true colours and planned an attack.

Beloved, are you being laughed at on that task God laid in your heart? Don't let their actions sway you. They are not your friends, they are enemies, they are not giving you wise counsel, they are discouraging you. Encourage yourself in the Lord like David, let the word of God build your faith in Him who sent you.
You are on the right path, be diligent, you will finish well to the glory of God.

The meaning of the word "Harvest" to the world is different from the meaning to the Lord.

The world requires you to save/invest for a harvest that will not cross beyond this earth. The Lord requires that you give/scatter for a harvest that transcends world's (earth and heaven).

In the world, the weather must be favourable for the harvest to be bountiful. A flood/ thyphoon will destroy harvests. But in the Lord, even a tornado is a tool to bringing about an abundant harvest depending on where we stand.

In order to bring our harvest to physical manifestation, we need to stand for God like Shadrach, Mashach and Abednego. When they stood for God in the face of death, their harvest of promotion came and God was glorified when the King bow down to the King of kings.

When an harvest is about to manifest things might turn upside down as it was also in the case of Apostle Paul who was told that if he embarked on his planned journey to Jerusalem, he will be bound by the authorities (Acts 21) but he insisted on going. If you were given that prophesy will you go or stay knowing that journey was for the glory of God. The bible says if you want to save your life, you will lose it..

Apostle Paul went to Jerusalem and was truly bound, ship wrecked, bitten by a snake, In order to preach far and wide. Note: despite his trials, he did died at old age.

Missionaries brought Christianity to Africa when we were deep into idolatory. Some were murdered and some died of sickness but more still came to spread the gospel. I know that they did not have earthly riches, but their crown in heaven will be filled with diamonds of souls still being won to Christ today.

Some of their lineage/generations enjoys unexplained favour due to their stand for God.

I ask you, where do you stand? When it's calm or during trials, when you're in good health or in sickness, when you're rich or poor, loved or despised, when God answers you or when He's silent, when God favours you or when He slays you?

Pray for the grace to stand now and always.

Moses (a shepherd) had a rod as he stood before the red sea

Prophet Ezekiel (a priest ) had his voice at the valley of the dry bones

The widow (mother) had a pot of oil at the point of bankruptcy

They were all at a critical point, desperate for a solution....they looked to God and as Psalm 34:5 said, "They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed."

I ask you, what is in your hand? Even if its dirt, use it and you will not be shamed.

With Christ, crisis becomes breakthrough.

not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free. Ephesians 6: 6-8

The life of Saul and David shows the result of being a men-pleaser or a God-pleaser.

Both were anointed king from being a nobody (even in their own families) without even lobbying/asking for it.

Saul felt so unworthy that he went to hide when it was time to show him as king to the whole nation in 1Samuel 10:22.David was so overlooked that he was forgotten when the priest of the whole nation of Israel invited the family for a national service in 1Samuel 16:5.

Saul was fit only to look for donkeys while David was fit only to take food to his elder ones at the warfront.

There ends the similarities.

Saul was never recorded to seek the face of God before a battle, David is constantly enquiring of the Lord before he goes to any battle.

Saul was first son while David was the lastborn.

Saul was brutal in pursuing his ally-turned-enemy but David was busy avoiding any form of harm to Saul through his own hand or command.

Saul ordered the killing of 83 priests and a whole city because they helped David but when David had Saul at his grasp, he did not touch him because of the fear of God.

In all the aggression and self-will, Saul, despite being king without the input of man, lost his kingdom because he was more interested in what men want and discarded what God wants.1Samuel 15:21, 30

David, despite several opportunities did not listen nor act on people's desire for him to harm Saul....No because he can't, but because he identifies that vengeance belongs to God.

We all know whose throne God established FOREVER.

So, I ask you.... after God has favoured you into a position you NEVER thought you can ever attain in life, what do you do next.... think of how you will please men (which has caused many to sin) or how to please God?

This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.

Choose now, for a better nation for us all.

Lessons from today's fellowship.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. 2 Corintians 4:17.

What are wars? These are the challenges that we face as human beings....poverty, unemployment, sickness, delay in childbearing, accumulating bills,etc. It is not for us to fight these wars as God allows them before they can be there ( Job, Rachael, etc). People of great destiny go through a lot of tribulations but it's all to the glory of God. Examples are Elizabeth and Hannah who were mothers to great men,even Apostle Paul himself,etc

When God has a plan to make an individual great in a particular way, such an individual will face great torment in that aspect of his life as the devil will want to make sure God's plan fails. If you will be great and be mightily used by God at that career, the devil will make sure you don't even graduate.etc but we should not forget that God is still The Almighty and is in control. No matter what size the war is, at the right time, it will cease....so, why would you allow such trials steal your peace and take you away from God who has the final say?

* Joseph did not take his gaze away from God, that is why he left prison to the palace. If he had decided to fight the war, his highest victory would have been freedom and back to his father's house.
* David did not take his gaze away from God, that is why at last, all other tribes of Israel came that he should rule over them.

When we look at our challenges, we take our eyes away from the fact that we are already victorious in Christ Jesus. Let us not be like Rachael in Genesis 30 who told her husband "give me a child or i die". She was robbed of her peace and joy already and eventually died before her son fulfilled destiny. Her husband who trusted God saw and ate from the fulfilment of God's word. She was fighting a war she should not.

Everything God allows brings us to Him and teaches us to be compassionate like Him but we are not enjoying God because we actually don't trust Him to take care of us especially those who don't know Him.

What to do while the war rages
1. Give your life to God
2. Study His word to know Him and His promises for you
3. Praise Him always
4. Keep company with people that know and love the Lord

This is another opportunity to give our life to this God so that we can know Him and have rest from our troubles. Tomorrow might be too late. Matthew 11:28-29 summarised it all.... Come, drop your burden and take up His own, that's all!

Lessons from today's fellowship.

For the second quater of this year, God said He will visit us and He did but some of our homes are not in order and so, God could not come in.

This quarter, He is coming with laughter but if our homes have not been put in order, He still won't be able to come in.

Designate a place outside the camp where you can go to relieve yourself. As part of your equipment have something to dig with, and when you relieve yourself, dig a hole and cover up your excrement. For the Lord your God moves about in your camp to protect you and to deliver your enemies to you. Your camp must be holy, so that he will not see among you anything indecent and turn away from you. Deuteronomy 23: 12-14


1, The spirit of God will not come into filthy environments. Keep your body and homes clean. Laziness is not attractive.

Some of our homes and bodies are dirty, unkept, smelly, unarranged and rough. This is a hindrance to answered prayers. These environment also attracts cockroaches and rats which brings diseases that causes sickness!!!

Let us wash, wipe, tidyup, arrange, dry, air out, shave, cut, make, repair, etc as needed in our homes and bodies. Don't leave till tomorrow what you should do today.

2, And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.Acts 2:1

The apostles were in one accord.....some of our homes are not united. Individual-living within a home. Unity is very key to God; let us all be in one accord so the spirit of God can dwell in the home.

The spirit of God does not dwell where there is chaos. This means quarrels and strife must stop in our homes and businesses for God to dwell with us and joy/laughter to abound in us.

Even if the other parties in the home are not acting right, look unto Jesus and obey God completely. Let the love of God flow from you as Jesus did to a sinful generation. This counts towards God reigning in our homes. Ask for the grace if you need to and you will be given.

Enough of anger, hatred, malice, bitterness, animosity, hostility, moodiness, resentment, etc. and the King of Glory will come in and LAUGHTER will fill our homes.

Learning from today's fellowship

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 1 Corinthians 13:11.

At salvation, we become children of God but babies in the faith. At this time of our journey, If we are not careful, we will bring the ideas, customs and superstitions of the world into our journey.

These and much more are the filth that God help us to wash off at the place of sanctification to make us vessels unto honour 2timothy 2:20-24 before we come into our full inheritance in Christ.

As a result of this childish behaviour, some of us miss out on the blessings meant for us. Most of us speak anyhow as born-again Christians under the guise of being truthful/blunt (forgeting that the tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright) not knowing that this is what is stagnating us as it's an evidence of immaturity.

Some of us are quick to anger (forgeting that anger lies in the bossom of fools.) and are quick to blame others for our temper. If you find yourself stangnant, check your speech and actions. Good will not elevate anyone who will disgrace Him except He is building you up as a scape-goat e.g. pharaoh.

Using company time for personal things while company duties are pending, taking company properties home, pen, paper, fuel,etc. If you think it does not matter, "it's just xyz", why hide it? What this tells God is that you are not faithful in little things and does not YET have the capacity to handle bigger things such as state, national role or higher.

If such a child-heir does not change, he/she might never be great in life.

I conclude with Galatians 4:1-2 "What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. The heir is subject to guardians and trustees" If we refuse to learn from our tutor the Holy Spirit, we will not overcome the barriers to our breakthrough and will end up as a frustrated christian.

Start today,
1, Ask the Holy Spirit for help.
2, Obey His instructions completely.
3, Keep rising even after a fall.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16.

Today's passage is very very popular, almost every Christian knows it but this afternoon, a new explanation was given to me by the Holy Spirit on the phrase "whoseover believes in Him".

Who is the "Him" we are to believe in and what are we to believe about "Him"?

1,Jesus the SON of God. Luke 9:35...."This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him".

2, The LAMB of God. John 1:29...“Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"

3, The WORD of God who is also GOD. John 1:1..." In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

4, Our HIGH PRIEST Hebrew 4:14.... " we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven,Jesus the Son of God".

5, CREATOR of all things. John 1: 3... " All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made"

6, He is LIFE, He is LIGHT. John 1:4... " In him was life; and the life was the light of men."

7, He is THE SAVIOUR. John 3:16..

8, The great JUDGE. Revelation 22:12... " behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be"

The few points above and much much more are who He is. So, today, when we say we believe in Him, let's ask ourselves , do we believe in ALL that He is and the POWER He possess for our use? Healer, Helper, Deliverer, Father, Warrior, Peace, King, Provider, etc.

If we do believe in ALL that He is, we surely will never "perish, but have eternal life". Let us read the bible more to know more about who He is because " faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king. 1 Samuel 15:23

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
Exodus 22:18

According to Wikipedia, Rebellion is a refusal of obedience or order. It refers to the open resistance against the orders of an established authority.

The books of Numbers shows different instances where there has been rebellion and the disastrous consequences.

Numbers 12 told about Moses siblings rising against him. This caused God to be angry at them, Miriam got struck with leprosy and was put out of the camp for seven days after Moses pleaded on her behalf. I'm sure the honour given to her previously will reduce.

Numbers 14 was where ALL Israel rebelled against Moses and Aaron. Oh my God, the anger of God was terrible to behold and He almost destroyed them all if not for intense appeal from Moses and Aaron. This act ensured the rebels do not enter the promised land and others to remain in the wilderness for 40years.

Numbers 16 is about 253 men headed by Dathan, Korah and Abiram who challenged Moses authority. These men were given "some" of the spirit of God in Moses and they felt that have "arrived". Their punishment spilled to all their family members as the ground opened and they were all swallowed up alive and the ground closed over them.

The 2 bible passages at the beginning of this write-up tells us what rebellion is to God and why he acted as He did at these instances. He sees them as witches and idolators, so they must not be spared.


When it comes to God-ordained authority, it is not in our place to challenge them. Let God decide their fate as He evetually did for Moses and Aaron. To do so is to incure the wrath of God. That does not say we cannot advice them with caution as Moses father-in-law did in Exodus 18.

Disobedience/stubborness is also a type of rebellion. We need the spirit of God to help us see areas where we have been disobeying His order/authority; areas where we've been stubborn in doing the right things at home, church, work, with our spouses, children, neighbours, daily tasks,etc.

This could explain some hardships, demotions and even deaths we are facing in some areas of our lives.

God will help us to submit to His will in ALL areas in Jesus name. Amen.

Learning from today's fellowship

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 10:27-28

Your TV device will not display videos of it's not turned on. Except for rare occasions, we need to be expectant if we want to hear from God.

When we adjust our environment to usher in the presence of God, we don't tune our TV to pornographic channel expecting to hear God in that environment, no. You tune your mind, environment and focus on where you expect a message from.

Note that a quarrelsome spirit will not hear God, a confused mind cannot hear God neither can you hear God doing satanic/occultic things.

If we don't know God personally, we can't hear from Him. If we can't hear from Him, Even our Pastor can mislead us as in the case of the old and young prophet in 1kings 13.

God speaks 1st to us concerning little things to know if we will obey. Our failure to obey will shut the channel of communication.

How do you know if the voice you are hearing is God's?
1, Messages that comes with fear is not from God. His words comes with peace and direction.
2, Any word contrary to the word of God is not fron God.
3, You must yearn for His voice. Jer. 29:13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

When we hear Him, God is very interested in our obedience. Some of our blessings are hanging because we fail to be obedient. You say God has been silent to you.... have you obeyed His last word with you? The Holy Spirit will keep quiet when we begin to argue with Him. He is waiting for us before His next word. When we obey in little things, He will instruct us on bigger things.

It is when you are close to someone that you hear from Him. You get close to God by:
1, Giving your life to Him. You have to be His own to hear from Him.
2, Read the word
3, Worship Him.

No matter what has gone wrong in your family, hearing and obeying God will turn this tide from you. At the wedding at cannan, John 2, it was not only the word that turned the water to wine, it was also the obedience of the servants.

Yearn for Him.
Hear Him.
Obey Him.
He will surely visit you.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Looking at the above bible passage alone, we might not know the gravity of that love or the extent of us perishing if we don't do some calculations. Please get a book and pen.

In various chapters in the book of Leviticus (in the bible), God instructed the children of Israel on the different offerings they MUST bring to ensure that they are not cut off from His people.

1, Chapter 1 tells us about a burnt offering (free will) with A BULL or SHEEP or GOAT or BIRD. According to your capability.

2, Chapter 3 talks about a peace offering (free will)which requires A LAMB OR GOAT

Compulsory Offerings
3, Chapter 4 talks a about a sin offering. This requires a YOUNG BULL (for a priest), or A MALE KID (a leader), or A FEMALE KID or LAMB (common folks)

4, Chapter 5 speaks of the trespass offering where you bring A KID/LAMB or 2 PIGEONS/TURTLEDOVES or FINE FLOUR

5, Chapter 5 continues by informing us that in the instace of a trespass towards the holy things of the Lord, this requires A RAM AND ADD ONE-FIFTH value of the holy item.

6, Chapter 6 mention various sins that requires both restitution with interest and also A RAM offering

7, Chapter 6, continued by instructing the priests to offer GRAINS EVERYDAY.

8, Chapter 12 mandates that a sin offering is made for a woman to cleanse her after childbirth. This is A LAMB and A PIGEON/TURTLEDOVE.

9, Bodily discharges requires at least 2BIRDS according to Chapter 15.

10, The feast of 1st fruits requires A LAMB. The feast of weeks requires 7 LAMBS, YOUNG BULL & 2 RAMS.

11, The feast of tabernacle requires a burnt offering ALSO.

Now, calculate how many you would have bought from your current income and even bought for your children ( Job 1:5 tell us job made sin offerings for his children). Can you afford it? If yes, lucky you.... if no,.........


When we look at all these compulsory and voluntary offerings that the blood of Jesus is now used for, we will know the extent of God's love for us; because if sin does not destroy us, the cost of the sacrifices will actually do.

This blood paid for the sins of generations before us and after us! We can now mathematically understand why we call it the PRECIOUS BLOOD. Not forgeting that the blood also has other uses....PRICELESS.

When next you plead the blood, know that it is the evidence of God's love that ensures that our sins are PAID IN FULL even before we commit them.

AMAZING grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:19-25


Marrying into a royal family requires that you are trained in the royal way. I am sure Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle who married Britain's princes went through training (and is still being trained) on mannerism, etiquette, carriage, communication, etc. The bible passage above is telling us that to come into the family of Christ (spirit), we have to stop manifesting the works of the flesh. As new-royal folks, we need to stop sitting anyhow, talking anyhow, associating with the wrong crowd, dressing anyhow, etc.

If the royals of this world can require and insist on these for anyone marrying into their family is it too much for God to ask?

HOW TO WALK IN THE SPIRIT
1, LOOK TO JESUS: When we are in the family of Christ, we need to keep walking in the spirit. Romans 8:5 says " Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires." We need to recognise that we are no longer of the flesh and therefore SET OUR MINDS on the things of the spirit. How do we set our mind? Hebrew 12:2 tells us ... " Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Please note that we cannot look into Jesus if we are still holding onto the things of the flesh. That is why Hebrew 12:1 tells us to 1st " lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us". Then, we can walk in the spirit.

2, SOW IN THE SPIRIT: There are 24hours in a day, give 2.4hours to God's business. Reading the bible, praying, Praise and worship, listening to Godly messages, etc. The more time you spend with a man, you copy the man's character. Spend more time with God to be more like God.

3, BE QUICK TO FORGIVE: Apart from our sins also not being forgiven, when a person offends us, the person is being influenced by a certain demon. Failure to forgive and forget means that demon is still being retained in that person's life. Also, the demon of anger will keep having his way in your own life which is an open door for demonic attack. That is why God FORGIVES AND FORGETS our sins when we become born again to keep the old demons permanently away.

4, LISTEN TO THE PROMPT OF THE SPIRIT: This is what leads to life. This is where your task is differentiated from the others. Where God leads you on your very own journey. Where you walk with God alone and no one else understands you and you don't understand sometimes. But if it's the spirit of God's prompt, it leads to life. Ephesians 6:18 tells us to pray always in the spirit.

6, LONG FOR THE THINGS THAT MAKE GOD HAPPY: This, in summary means obeying God.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Happy New Month. It's another 1st day of the month and it's time for fasting and prayer.

This month of June is very significant as it divides the year into two equal parts. This is to give us the awareness that this year will end after we've spent the same amount of days.

So, we do an evaluation. Am I where I want to be? Is this the plan? Am I close to the target or not? Or I've not started my 2019 journey at all. Let's not forget that even though the bible says that "the journey is not for the swift",  it also says  God "gives us power to make wealth".

That is the reason why this month's prayer is focused on divine direction. So we will not just be working without direction.

1, Father I thank you for how far you have come with me. Thank you for every daily load of benefits that you've given me. In Jesus name

2  Lord Jesus, I'm a sinner and your word says "we cannot continue in sin expect grace to abound. GOD FORBID". This morning I come with a repentant heart. I cannot live with my own strengths; it has failed me. I surrender my life to you. Forgive me of my sins and let me begin to live in you. In Jesus name

3, Blood of Jesus, wash me clean of any iniquity in me. Make me worthy to approach the throne of grace today and always. Separate me from every connection that takes me back to my old life. Every convenant, oath, relationships, association, friendship, etc that was separating me from God, separate me from them all. In Jesus name

4, Holy Spirit divine, I need you for this minefield of life. Without you i am dead or worse still useless. Fill me to teach me, lead me, help me, direct me, counsel me...... just be with me In Jesus name

5. Lord direct me to where my business will flourish in this month of June in Jesus name.  Where favour will speak, where patronage will be high, where i am needed, where the works of my hands will be appreciated, in Jesus name.

7, Father, you said in your word that " if anyone lacks wisdom..." we should ask. Father, divine wisdom to do exploits, Lord grant unto me. In Jesus name

8, Father, as I prosper through your directions, I will not fail you, I will not shame you, i will not send people away from the faith with my actions/speech, neither will I bring ridicle to your name In Jesus name.

9  Lord direct the affairs of our nation. We uproot every tree of bloodshed in our nation. Because these innocent blood are shed to glorify the devil, we refuse every action that will not glorify God in our nation and we command "peace be still" in Jesus name.

10, Father we thank you because you've answered us. We will not know a better yesterday as we are going from glory to glory in Jesus name.
