No court will even grant that order once his death has been publicly announced. Such judge can be sanctioned. Some things are very clear in the constitution and cannot be altered.

What I observed is that the Chief Judge of Ondo State seems not to be on the same page with Aketi and his wife during the whole power tussle, maybe cos he wanted the right thing to be done.

That still doesn't matter....so far there's death involved. No matter what the immediate Aketi family might have done he should still have honoured his boss. You should also consider the circumstances surrounding his ascension to power. The whole activity should hv been solemn in honour of the dead.

It should have been a solemn and private affair involving just him, the judge and some few journalists. It was a display of lack of emotional intelligence on the part of the new governor and the other officials involved in the swearing-in. This will definitely go far.

Such occasion should have been very private and solemn in light of the mood of the moment. Just a few cameramen and the Chief Judge....most of our politicians lack emotional intelligence.
