Hi Guys Bank is the best place to work in the world. this is my 20th years in the in the industry. At the lower grade ,the complaints is cash shortages, closing very late, but when you get to the top i promise you that the story will change ,so please intensify more efforts and get to the top .love you all |
I personally saw this topic as one of the best so far on the net.Innspirational.Do you know that you can never be rich working for someone?. It is true you need a job to save some money to commence a business. But this is not enough there, are thousands of people outside there that got the money and started a business, but today many of them are in debts, there business has coollaspsed. To be frank there are many factors that you must consider before starting your own business. I did not believe that i could earn more than my salary from banking job, until recently when i wrote a book that became one of the best sellers in the country Please start thinking of what you can do on your own even if you get a job |
I forwarded an e-mail to the bank yesterday about the problem.I hope they will do something about it.May be i have to call a professional colleague in their IT$S department.Meanwhile like Nzerebe have said keep on trying |
Do you know that most questions included in the aptitude tests by employers are always similar in nature?. Do you know that thesame applies to inteview questions?.Why then should any member of this great forum fail a test or interview?. I have a solution. Apart from the vacancies that are placed on this site ,let us try this 1. Whenever a member participate in a written test, let that person post on this site the name of the organisation and the areas covered in the test. This will help someone writing similar test in the future 2. Have you just attended an interview?Let others know those questions you are asked and your experience at the interview With this simple practice i have know doubt in my mind that there will be an increase in the number of people that will secure good jobs this year and you will definately be one My name is OLufunso Adekunle, a Banker with over 15yrs experience and Author of the best seller titled GET YOUR DESIRED JOB NOW.MY no 08038363655 YOUR COMMENT ON THIS PLEASE |

Congratulations. Working in the bank can be interesting and rewarding. Please ensure you register with ICAN or CIBN immidiately. It is one thing to get a good job and it is another thing to excel. Punctuality is a must in the bank, while honesty should be your watchword. Do not be tempted by get rich syndrome. Customers will approach for fraud and other malpractices , your colleagues will also do thesame.Never fall for it ,the results is dangerous You will be stressed up at times and intimidated at a point, because some people over there are frustrated on a grade- YOU will soon become their senior because of your qualifications. The best you can do when you get a fresh job is to be thinking of retirement-sound funny?. If you embrace this philosophy you will be able to plan effectively for the future Ensure you save and invest wisely I wish you all best of luck |

Your professional advice will be of immense benefits, not only for me , but also to many jobseekers who have suffered from this problem in the past. |
I recently posted an information on nairaland requesting Jobseekers to forward thereCV to my email addreess for assessment. The response was encouraging, and i think i did my best. The fact is known to those who have passed through the job search process. It can be frustrating and demoralising. At a point you wondered whether you deserve this unmerited legacy bestowed by the battered economy. NEVER, have the course to doubt your ability, one day , it will be your turn, afterall, employments letter are issued daily. It is an undisputable fact, thousands of jobs are advertised daily looking for someone like you.Information is the most vital element in job search process, you have to be information conscious. The much displayed enthusiasm in your school days is needed now.Do not keep "quiet", put in place an information system that makes you more current.Visit newstand regularly with your pen and jotter.Surf the net . Contact friends and relatives for job information.Your neighbour may be of help. Please reach out to people. Do not be a lone ranger, it is all about networking. Most jobseekers are still outside there not because they have never apply for job nor because they are not qualified. They probably refused to recognise that , in any saturated and competitive market of which our labour market is inclusive ,you need to show that you are unique . You must demonstrate in your CV ,cover letter and at the interview that you fit in than any other candidates. This is a skills that you just have to acquire, unfortunately, our educational curriculum rarely covers this salient subject . Another desirable skills is versatility in online job search. It is compulsory you must know how to do it very well. 90% if not more, of our corporate organisations now advertised vacancies positions on the internet. It is more cheaper, convinient and faster for them.It is however unfortunate most job seekers have failed to take advantage of this opportunity. About 85% of those that applied for job on the internet are however never contacted for interview due to some common costly errors. TO BE CONTINUED 08038363655 olufunso2006@yahoo.com |

The Human resources Manager, ABC Nigeria Limited. 4, Tom street, Ibadan Oyo state Dear sir, APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF A CHIEF ACCOUNTANT I read with extreme interest your advertisement in The Guardian Newspaper of May 30th 2006 for the post of a Chief Accountant. My second class upper grade in Accounting, proffessional qualification (ACA), Master degree in finance and many years cognate experience seems to fit me well for this position. In addition to the above brilliant write up. The word cover letter is commonly used in UK. It is the same letter of job application we are used to.This is a formal letter as such follow the standard rules. 1.Your address at the top right hand corner, and the addressee just below ,but indented to the left. 2.Next is salutation and the title of the post you are applying for.Remenber to quote refrence ,if any. 3. In paragraphy 1 , state the source of your information, and how your qualification and experience qualifies you for the job 4.let them know in par2 that you are relevant to there organisation and that you can add value in a record time 5.Sound cofidence in your letter but not arrogant. 6.Show courtesy in the last par.and let them know you are available for interview at their convenience 7.Please use your best hand.Write legiblyand neatly. 8.Avoid big grammar, but simple snd correct english.AVOID GRAMMATICAL ERROR. Ask someone to go through. 9. Do not duplicate the information in your CV.This is where your communication ability is determined.Remember they are all looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills. |
AMUSA HAKEEM OLATUNJI I received your CV forwarded for free assessment.Pls note the follwing. 1.Your personal information should always come first.CV is all about you 2. Why not choose either ,academic qualification or education as your heading instead of the two. Avoid tautology 3. Use active verb to describe your experience e.g PERFORMED ANALYTICAL EXPERIMENTS ON DRUGS. CONFIGURED AND INSTALLED COMPUTER SYSTEM The format is OK but always alter the CV to suit the requirements in a particular advertisement. GOOD LUCK AKINFOSILE OLUWASEYI The layout is good ,but note the following 1. The objective statement focused managerial position. Seyi you are a young graduate. Why not re-construct it to reflect an entry position e.g To secure an entry position in an organisation where my education and skills could be applied to add value in a record time 2. Remove hyphen in team player 3. Reconsruct this sentence.Ready acceptance of delegated responsibilities 4. The sub heading "PERSONAL INFORMATION" shold not be at the end of your CV .Remember CV is all about you 5.Seyi did not hide his strength in the CV . Under education he states 2.1 even in O\L results he wrote 2 distinctions ,4 credits.Always stress your strength in CV OKE ALIU BAMIDELE I got your CV sent to my email for assessment.Find below my observations 1.You included personal data in the body of your CV .Pls it is all about . Let it come first. 2. Some words are wrongly spelt e.g safety 3 .You have adequate experience but always use active verb to describe your experience .e.g Monitored, ' Introduced to, "Performed, etc. This shows that you have actually accomplished the task. PLS ignore the sub heading "Activities done included" You are advised to type your CV under mirosoft word so that wrong spellings or sentence can be checked. The lay out is ok.PLS change the sub heading PROFILE to CAREER OBJECTIVE TO BE CONTINUED . |
