Bros, you try. It's not easy to raise such amount of money legitimately in Nigeria given the present economic situation.

It all depends on what field you want to invest in or are willing to invest in. But here are my top three.

1. Agriculture

Plant farming ( plantain, banana, cassava etc)

Animal farming ( fish, poultry, pig, snail, etc)

2. Food storage or food supply chain.

Here you buy foodstuff in bulk when they are in season and cheap and store them to sell with profit when they are scarce. Examples of such foodstuff are corn, palm oil, onions, and so more.

As per food supply chain you can transport foodstuff from places of abundance to places where they are scarce. A friend of mine made hundreds of thousand nairas this past December buying cow from the north and supplying to customers in the south. He made on average 40k per supply and supplied more than 15.

3. Mini importation
Here you import products such as clothes, shoes, jeweleries. ladies cosmetics, hair or even tech products from online stores like Alibaba and eBay and sell. There are treads here on NL with details on how to do this.

Ps: you need to conduct your own survey and invest in a business you have some knowledge about. Remember "No Risk No Reward"

** I wish you all the best and success my own bit of advice is run away from betnaija and co and also from people like the OP below who will invite you to invest in a bogus business otherwise you will lose everything.

All is well. I had a similar story with you, I wrote direct-entry four years in same UNIBEN scored reasonable mark but was denied my dream course while my friend from Delta and Edo with same score got the course EEE, I latter meet a Lecturer to explain my ordeals the Man told me that I didn't meet the cut off mark and I'm not from catchment that was the reason had been denied the dream course before I have been catapult to physics department, I rejected the offer that time but with prayer, persistence and perseverance I made it at the fifth year thou I scored higher than the cut off mark the said year n my dream came to reality. I wish you all the best.

Just so sad. I scored 273 in jamb and 55 in putme yet uniben denied me admission while someone else with the same putme score and who also applied for the same course with me was given biochem, ahn ahn.

I understand your plight Damsel but do you know that there are many yardstick to determine admission into any federal Universities in this Country? Sequel to your epistles, that your friend might be UNIBEN catchment or educational less developed area cos the admission yardstick are 45% merit, 35% catchment and 20% ELDs. Just be optimistic cos perseverance and persistence will land you to your destination.. Happy Sunday.

The present NANS President is a Student of UNIBEN and I think that speaks much volume about the Studentocracy there.....Just my opinion.

Two Universities were selected out of the six first generation Universities. You knw UNIBEN, OAU,ABU and UNN belongs to the first generation Uni, that was the reason you couldn't see them on the list except Unilag, and UI.

What is the basis of the comparison? Stick to any School of your Choice, moreover first is same irrespective of any School. Don't allow Nairaland e-warrior to advice you blindly.

The lacuna between the duo is that Computer science deal with software while Computer Engineering deal with both hardware and software!

UNIBEN first year been it Jambite or DE, you will pay 50k for acceptance and 51k for school fee making a grand total of 101k but for the subsequent year you gonna pay #14,400 for science base courses while #12,400 for Art and Social sciences till your final year. I was admitted through DE, So I am a living testimony.

Direct entry into UNIBEN Medical school is somehow clumsy to be candid with ourselves. The chance is just 10 slot and someone need to score up to 80% due to the competition. I have a friend that scored 65% lastyr and he wasn't admitted, so to you people that score 50+ I implore you to pray and try another alternative cos UNIBEN have given much direct entry attention to there JUPEB Students. SHALOM!

Academic excellent is not synonymous to structures to some extent. It is the student's desire that determines academic excellent.

No university on Earth that doesn't have dullard students in my experience so far both home and abroad.

Every student at UNIBEN is not better than every student at AAU ( ur Third Class University as claimed by ur myopic knowledge). There is bound to be probability for ascertaining knowledge. There are dull students at Harvard university but they have done well globally than the First Class or professors from UNIBEN. Graduating from UNIBEN doesn't automatically make you more intelligent than all AAU students. That notion will disappoint you one day by underrating a graduate from AAU.

Nowadays, graduates from UNIBEN are jobless too. No AAU graduate has made public announcement on NL that he or she is looking for job like your UNIBEN graduate who graduated with First Class in Mathematics yet he was looking for job instead of using his brain or the knowledge acquired from your "Mighty UNIBEN". I ask myself: " What does UNIBEN impacted in that First Class jobless mathematics graduate from your School?" Nothing!

Don't forget your Third Class University that is AAU produced Pastor Chris Oyakhilomhe and Mr. Festus Keyamo ( EFFC popular lawyer) and many more.

I have met a lot of UNIBEN graduates that are very dull and also a lot of AAU graduates who are dull too. also, a lot of AAU graduates better than UNIBEN graduates. And UNIBEN graduates better than AAU graduates too.

I don't have time to be trading words with you but think deep down in your heart that there is a great different between UNIBEN and AAU. Academic excellence is not a function of how much you study but a function of how you are able to understands what you are doing. Sequel to your epistle that a UNIBEN first class graduate is looking for job and AAU graduate hasn't air his voice as regards to job hunting is analogous to "Fallacy of hasty generalisation", Everybody know there no job in the Country even people in the UK have similar issue. Boss you can never compare UNIBEN products to AAU either you agree with me or not. SHALOM.
