Study and pass very well then you are free to go cos am a westerner too and I was admitted to one of the competitive course in Uniben.

Just study your o level subject very well and try score 60 above, for the cost of studying is below. First year is 50k for school fee, 45k for acceptance fee while the subsequent year is 14,400 or 12,400 depends on your course of study

you must have a minimum of upper credit in both ND and HND before considering you into 300l and you must have minimum of 5 olevel credit passes in the following subject, English, maths,chemistry, physics and any other science subject like Biology,Economics or Geography. But why can't you register for this may/June NABTEB, it's a very good exam and it's not expensive, registration would end by ending of April and the result would be out by August.

Joint University Preliminary Examination, it's an A-level programme of a year duration of which you would cross to 200l after the program but it's expensive. Unilag own is 350k while Uniben fee is 150k

Which UNIBEN ? Keep on deceiving yourself. Average Nigeria Student will consider OAU Several times before thinking of so called UNIBEN.

Last year my younger brother got 221 in Jamb and 57 in Uniben post UME, but wasn't offered admission. He applied to study Economics and Statistics.

This year he studied harded but got 174. He was unlucky to write on the 8th of march. The mass failure of 8th of march even made front page.

Their is no need dwelling on the past, what has happened has happened, we only have to look for a way forward. I don't want him to spend another year at home.

I would appreciate if nairalanders with information of any reliable program by which one can get admitted into good universities apart from jamb to please help. Somebody told me IJMB, but another was agaist it. Please help.

Go to your favorite school and graduate with good result, i mean minimum of 2.1. Discard all this school ranting cos all Nigeria schools are thesame.

They call it MLS in Universities and you must have a degree in science before you can enter through DE, you can not use ND and HND.

Am a victim of such at funaab after scoring 57% with distinction in accounting I wasn't admitted.never the less I won't give up I would apply for a school in the north where I knw it would be more easier probably BUK kano.
