tubouncen:Cameroon is a bilingual country of French and English. Majority of those in the English section can't speak or understand French like wise the French section. |

This your 280 and above is it for those studying arts or Sciences? I wrote a little about JAMB to my students when I was in the system. When it comes to JAMB, the subjects is the real factor. Let me use these three groups of students which of course is the majority : 1. students writing Literature , Government, CRS should be the first to finish the exam and scores of 300 and above are very possible. 2. Students writing Biology, Chemistry and Physics (pharmacy, medicine, nursing etc.) are the second group of students and scores of 260 and above is very possible. 3. Students writing Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry are likely to score the lowest in JAMB and are always caught up with time. Calculations eat up time in such exams hence my conclusion for the third group as 98% of the Maths, 75-80% of the Physics and 70-75% of the Chemistry involves calculations which may take more than one minute as compared to the "read and shade" of the first group. I can confidently say the time allocated for JAMB is okay or too much for the first group, fair for the second but not enough for the third and that should be looked into cause it's not a fair exam from my studies. So here is a little advise if you fall in the third group Don't ever start this exam from Mathematics cause your heading for below 200. Study your chemistry and Physics very well. Start with Chemistry and move through Physics and if there's time deal with the mathematics. Students always fall for the trick going for the Maths which always appears on the first page. That Maths placed there is the little trick even job interview test questions obey this rule, "tough questions first and simpler ones last" The mathematics will use over half the time allocated for the three subjects and the exam will terminate while your still on the second subject. Before someone tells me am not good in mathematics, hence my assertion, that's not the case. I have mathematics and further mathematics in both my ordinary and advanced level certs. Again, I did not write this for argumentative purposes just my little observation which might be helpful to some folks here. You can reach out to your friends and siblings if you find it helpful and await the million thanks you will get when the result is out. |
msogunro: mayor2013:Thank you @ msogunro and mayor2013, though my mechanic cleaned the vacuum hose at one time before the shutting off became prominent when the car could not accelerate and that problem resolved. I will go check the fuel system then go for the scan if the problem persist. |
I Need Help My 2003 Nissan Pathfinder has been shutting off while driving and sometimes in traffic coupled with irregular hard starting. After the shut off, it will start again but in hard starting. I have changed the ignition Fibre, the cold starter switch as suggested by mechanic and it still persist. The crank shift position sensor has been tested and it's okay ( though I can't confirm) . There's no jerking while in motion and the movement is very smooth from which we ruled out fuel pump. Have also tried injector cleaner but to no avail. Please car gurus or anyone who have experienced a similar case and corrected it I need your help. |

silkytouch:You just said it all. I have come to a conclusion after observing this nairaland for years that about 60% of its members are either in secondary school or undergraduate [some unknowingly even include their ages (18-22) in their post]. That's why some of the comments here are mostly one-sided and portray no level of maturity from those still feeding from their mum's pocket. There's no zeal to analyse an open-news and research to ascertain the authenticity and cause of it. Ones it's here, everybody must comment. I Registered my own line five years back but got a message of incomplete registration and line will be barred if not fully registered . Been to Mtn's office 8 times but could not succeed after hours of waiting. Went there two days ago and even met those who registered last month and were given #500 bonus claiming they got a message of barring again. The staff there ask everyone to text "status" to 779 and we'll get a response if our details are complete or not. Everyone there did and about 80% got a confirmation of complete registration details from MTNN and left the hall. I also did happily thanking God for saving me the stress. Imagine recharging my phone to make a call only to learn that my two mtn SIMs have been blocked yester-morning. The blocked SIMs can never and I say never make igbo people as claimed here to destroy that office. If there's one thing I know about Igbos, they adapt to any situation and if tried to unblock their SIM from MTN and could not after two-three days, they will just get another network and continue their business as usual which many of them have already done so. Pouring water on a people that put food on your table and carter for your needs coined as salary is very very wrong. I don't think most people whether North or south can tolerate that. I did not write this comment to argue with anyone cause I have resort not as I might just be doing so with a secondary school student or an undergraduate. |

OkparaJesus:I will prefer his crime a trillion times over raping and an infinite times raping own blood. At least there is hard earned money in the accounts and not yahoo yahoo money from Old women and others. It takes a brilliant brain to think to that height if you ask me. Just all in trying to import goods. Its always good to think before commenting. It's likely they formed an association as a result of the CBN policy. Since there's a daily withdrawal limit on each ATM, the many of it will mean withdrawing more daily. Probably it's an agreement for their members to give their ATM cards to one person who must have transfered his cash to the various accounts so he can withdraw them while in China to buy his goods. Once he returns the process will repeat for another member. It's just the way I see it which I think it's really amazing. Keep trying guys your just the scape goat. It's better than armed robbery and raping every skirt that comes your way (blood related or not). As for the academic slowpoke ashamed of his tribe I think there's always rat poison for your rat-brained types. Always admiring these people's thoughts and brain. |
RemyMartins:I knew the youngman. He is like a brother to me and even tiled my room last year. He had told me early this year that he wants to get married this year and always come to my office with the supposed wife. The information reaching me is that the girl broke up with him that she will not continue in their relationship. He is a very good tiler and is comfortable at his age. The way I used to see two of them cling together I knew the youngman was the one catering for some of the girl's needs in school. He is a stammer and I know their anger, depression and frustration is not easily quenched. If only he told me what happened I would have talked to the girl and save this soul. May His soul Rest in Peace. |
The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has told Abia State Polytechnic workers through its Acting rector Prof. Ikonne that "bail out funds is not for backlog of salaries". The Statement really caused a pandemonium in the school and an emergency Congress of ASUP was held on it. Abia State Polytechnic and other government parastatals in the state have constantly been on 5-6 months salary arreas over the last 4 years. The Polytechnic staff received their March salaries as the last so far just last month. The University Teaching hospital in Aba has been on strike for over 6 months and the last time I checked, their salary areas was 11 months. According to the Acting Rector, the bail out is to settle debts incured by the state to companies ( maybe construction), banks and others. Some of these governors intend to divert these funds. In this Governor's (Abia) case, I believe his tribunal case with APGA will divert this money into bribery to the judges. |
I keep pondering why will our leaders be travelling overseas or abroad as we claim in the name of resting? This same persons who led a nation that is worth infinite amount of money are travelling to REST after living most of their leadership days in five star hotels both home and abroad, rode in brand new cars and air planes, eat whatever they like whenever they want at a one meal costs that can even build a bungalow for some less privileged Nigerians and they will worship the "whoever" for the rest of their lives. What sort of rest can such a person seek abroad? Were they not voted and appointed to rule this nation so others too can come and rest here? How many foreign leaders have entered this our wealthy nation ( even more richer than theirs) to rest ? Why must some group of individuals be toiling with the destinies of others? The Nigerian leaders have failed the citizens yet again and are travelling to rest where there's constant electricity, well polished roads, constant healthy water supply, good hospitals to check themselves every minute and the comfort list is unending in their RESTING depot when the ones that have been pushing trucks and barrows for years under rain and sun could not even afford the rents for a room after his monthly expenses for his family: let's say they were not educated else they would have gotten something better: has the graduated ones even with a mastered degree and doctorates secured good jobs and live comfortably with their families? Someone will say create jobs for yourselves as a graduate: Where is the capital to embark on the entrepreneurial schemes or that to register with the greedy regulating bodies who are always ready to collect huge amounts even more than your life savings for starting up your little business in the name of taxes, dues or registration? ... I don't know what I can do to help but the Almighty that put a new song in my mouth, the God of justice, the God that gave breadth to all of us and can take it whenever he deem fit, I know you have been watching, if all these leaders have been doing well for your children, bless them in abundant, but if they have been inflicting pains on your creation in YOUR SIGHT, the time has come for the victims to smile, let them know that justice must prevail, let the evil deeds of this wickedness live with them and their generations. Thank you lord for answered prayers. IJN. Amen |

elbashyr: Most of the every hausaman boko haram are not even SSCE holders,People have lost their relatives to charcoal that even a funeral with the corpse was not possible and you are comparing PHD and SSCE holders. So because someone has a PHD the other with SSCE should take bullets from him. I don't know the constituents of the gray matter in your brain but I think you are not okay. And for the record, some of your supposed PHD holders are related to "shoe shinners" for the SSCE holders. Be territorial south easterner s if that will add a day for you in this beautiful world that the juice is still yet to be released. No adult will allow soap into his eyes while he is in a pond.
