Travel / Re: Obituary Of Young Lady Killed By Trailer Driver In Aba (Photo) by futurenix(m): 5:26am On May 25, 2017
That's very common only in Aba. The trailer driver is still learning. Most of them have very big hammers inside their vehicle these days and any agbero coming after them and sighting the driver bringing out the hammer will adjust.
Some even embed multiple nails all over their side mirror incase the agberos want to pull out the mirror.

If only the appropriate authorities can inquire on this for the police to release the corpse for burial.

RIP my dear.

It's a loose belt like he said and every other person is busy condemning the innocent guy.

What he is putting on is Jeans trousers and there's no amount of erection that can lift a dick inside jeans to a 90 degrees as the picture portrays.

Everyone is just condemning.

And all of these bundles were just lying there doing nothing, who knows for how long it's been in their custody.

People are dying of hunger daily, some are in the hospitals and could not take care of their hospital bills, some can't even think of going to the hospital cause they can't pay for the consultation card.

I cuncur! EEDC is just out to make money, GEJ sold it off to an incompetent slowpoke who sees it as part of his own National cake. What they do is bill and bill and bill and bill you more.

You are speaking from a position of ignorance. What EEDC does is to reject power sent to it for distribution. Then they send estimated bills to their clients. They don't want to spend money paying for power sent to them, so they pay little, get little power and distribute as long as they make their own money through estimated billing system which is prevalent in the South East.

Geomet is in charge of power generation in the east and it is doing a wonderful work in generation, its the EEDC that is the devil.

That's very true.

What exactly was done with the first batch in the respective states by these Governors.

Until monies from Federal Government to states are accountable, Nigeria is going nowhere.

If a governor generates internally, he should use it the way he wants but as long as it's from the federal, every kobo should be accounted for to benefit the masses.

in my opinion, its too far reaching

just sign a dealership per product.

if he wants to distribute other products in the future, then you guys sign a new agreement specific to that product.

he wants insurance that you wnt circumvent him, thats great- you sign dat u wnt circumvent him on product A called blablabla and all iterations of same product, not a whole category- except e go favor you or you desperate, then you go really define the category proper. wetin be category? wetin no join? list all products etc, or else you go gree give am rights to everything, then when e no get money buy some new product, you ghas give am on credit- tying down production capital- think am.

find a lawyer friend , buy am beer and discuss with am.

we for here na amatoeur rilly and advice na 'a penny for a million'

I kind of understand his fears because I have been in a distributor/ partnership business that got my hands burnt I was distributing motorcycle tyres for a company due to my connection and network of Costomer I was doing great, these guys went thru my back and was supplying my Costomers at a reduced rate thereby sabotaging my efforts I was angry they did that to me I didn't have any documents to sue them I gave up, some of these products guys can be selfish and selfcentered
So his fears might be due to experience,
Let him understand you are a sincere person and as long as he is straightforward he will be your number 1 distributor
I don't really subscribe to him alone been the sole distributor of your products because if he fails you fail
You can grant him credits it's normal between distributors
You can try and advertise your products so that more people will get to know about it,
And besides what's your products about I have a ready market here in the north Kano State.

it's his experience in insincere dealings that warrants him to take such precautions and I don't blame him for it but just want to take precautions. As for the product, it's Air fresheners.
Business / Re: I Need Advise On This Distributorship Agreement by futurenix(m): 7:21pm On Feb 08, 2017
Thanks all for the contribution.

The product is actually Air fresheners used in cars, homes, offices etc.
Business / I Need Advise On This Distributorship Agreement by futurenix(m): 3:36am On Feb 08, 2017
I recently met a marketer who wants to be the major distributor of my product covering the SE as he already has a good network in these areas.

It's a a big kudos as he has shown he is capable by selling over 6000 units of my product withing a 45 days period which is really laudable.

My concern is with the agreement he wants us to sign that will give him full rights over the distributorship among other things.
I understand the agreement will atleast bring out some seriousness and honesty too but these particular points in that agreement is giving me thoughts

1. He will be the sole distributor for ALL my products in same category.

2. The agreement will run for 10 years after which it can be renewed if both parties deem fit.

3. The producer will be willing to grant trade credits if the need arises.

As for the first point, I have about five different products in my production line which I intend to introduce in the future but not yet. I only focus on one for now for some reasons.

Is it okay to sign an agreement on something that has not been produced cause that's what that first point seems to be.

As for the second point, though 10 years is not bad but I was hoping 5 yrs is okay. However he puts up an argument that from yr 1 through 4 he will be making sure to create and build demand for the product and from yr 5 will be when he starts reaping from the sales.

From the third point, it seems I will be the one giving the goods on credit but I actually hope in arrangements like this, the distributor will even assist in funds to some extent.

I really need inputs from those who have experience on issues like this before I sign off my hard work within seconds.

Your argument is sound. However, I doubt if it will suffice for items like okro, melon, water, beans, etc, that are locally grown and produced.

Like I said in the article, I don't have any prejudice for the genuine market factor increment but we have to understand that many retailers excessively add to their prices while some sell substandard products or even reduce the quantity of items for a higher price. How do we then reconcile the margin of difference?

Those people cultivating okoro, melon and Co., if at all the only thing they eat and make use of is their direct produce nothing else and don't leave their homes or trek to wherever they are going to then you would have been saying something reasonable. But that's not the case.

They bath with soaps, use creams after bath, take breakfast with milk and milo with sugar, ones in a while will want to drink a bottle of malt, beer or sweet drink. They also transport themselves if they are going far distance or want to bring their harvest home or send it to the market.

All these have increased in prices and increase their expenses too. They will have to transfer this increase to their own product too and sell at an increased price to cover up.

Hope this helps you understand it better.

There is no doubt manufacturing companies who rely on forex are increasing their cost of production and I believe that's not what the OP is arguing about cause that will be so lame.

Let me use this garri producer as an example

I produce a bag of garri in a week and previously sell it at 12000 naira. Then I used to buy my peak milk for my breakfast at 100 naira, my sachet milo at 30 naira. I often transport my cassava to my home at 100 naira and to the market after production at 200 naira.

Now the company producing peak milk has increased their price dueto the unfavorable exchange rate and now sell to wholesalers at 100 naira which was initially sold to them at 80 naira while it's passed to retailers at 90 naira.

The wholesaler adds his usual 10 naira profit and said hey I bought kerosene to cook last week at 300 naira and other things have increased prices too. so I have to include extra 5 naira for this milk to cover for those extra cost on those my daily needs. He now sells to retailers at 115 naira.

The retailers who normally buy at 90 naira and and sell 100 naira will also add their 10 naira profit and since they have also realized their daily expenses has increased will add 5 naira to cover it and now sell at 130 naira to the consumers and I the garri producer will now buy the milk that used to be 100 naira at 130 naira.

Probably while bringing his garri he noticed the transport to the market has also increased from 200 naira to 300 naira.

Probably the Danfo driver man has also realized his daily needs like soaps, milk, milo etc has also increased in price so he will have to top up his cost too.

Same goes for the milo I used for my breakfast and my bread too.
OP, if you were this garri producer will you still sell your bag of garri at 12000 naira?

That's called a "ripple effect" in economics if at all your economics teacher taught that.
It's ripple because it transfers.

Any state governor that cannot pay its workers is not fit to be in that office. All governors must look inward on how to legally raise their internally generated revenue rather than totally waiting for the month to end so as to rush to abuja for the usual sharing of money .

If a man has never created Labour on his own before, trust me he will never have anything to offer in terms of internally generated revenue.

I have come to the conclusion that good entrepreneurs becoming political leaders is the only way Nigeria can grow not just some guy living in a 3 bedroom flat and all of a sudden becomes a governor controlling billions because of God fatherism.

The youngman is busy looting and buying houses for his girlfriends in Aba while workers are starving without salaries.

All of you selfish people have not made a single post of the Governor owing workers over 7 months salary from Abia Teaching hospital to local government workers to Abia State polytechnic staff ( who just embark on an indefinite strike on Monday).

Workers don't have money to pay their wards school fees and even feed their families and all you do here is trying to better his image so he keeps on lavishing state's funds.

A female staff in Abia State Polytechnic died cause she could not afford blood for transfusion. Even her application for Salary advance was turned down, reason being there's no money.

Some workers from same Abia State have died of high blood pressure from this no salary payment.

Some people can slaughter a full generation for a paltry 1 million naira Sha.

Recharge card has a fixed value and its what you get. What the providers do is to increase the tariff per minute or per second billing which all of them have already done.

They don't need to increase the price of the air time when they can make your 100 naira enable you talk just for 4 mins which should have given u upto 8 mins prior to recession.
