What's the input voltage from the panel before now? I can see 64V there.

Had a similar issue with the new 100A CC where the input used to be 135V but all of a sudden drops to 53V and can't charge the battery any more.
Error 04 is high battery voltage but seems your battery is a 48V so there is nothing high about it.

When the PV voltage drops close to battery voltage, it can't charge the battery.

I have sent it to the seller so he can take it to felicity service center for checks like 2 weeks ago and he has been giving me different excuses.

That controller has not served upto 1 month.

I finally changed the fuse at felicity service center PH and battery is back to normal.
Will order a spare from AE now and keep just incase.

No voltage at the terminals using multimeter.
CC does not see the battery
Inverter does not too.

Guess it's time to send it back. Their china technical office sent a message now saying a fuse must have broken inside and should be returned to the service center.

Thought I could rectify it without tempering the screws and save to and fro 40k for waybil and time.

Your particular root design (without parapet) is less troublesome.

There's no issues as long as it's done properly.... If there's going to be a problem (which is possible), it won't be because of design rather perhaps, the workmanship and thickness of roof used.

I have reached the roofing stage of my build and need some input from the experienced.
Attached is the roof model I intend to go for so I can save some cost for other things and also for my solar panels to have peace of mind up there.

Is there any downsides to this roof model when compared to the usual "send down the rain" type?

Also is there any advise for observations/likely improvements to implement in this model?

The 5units are lithium. They were to go into the same system but one of it had a defect, the cells inside shifted on their mounting and was shorted to the casing of the batteries.(the dealer acknowledged it was a manufacturing defect for this type of their batteries)
The batteries are rated 9.6kwh on the nameplate -the dealer says it is 10kwh- it is mated to a 18kw inverter and 13.2kw of solar with remote monitoring.

The batteries were bought February this year. And we're integrated in installation by July this year.


All other aspects of the system are working pretty good, just the battery.

If you are running the 2000W load during the day then your batteries are not charging to float.

Lithium batteries can be funny. They can indicate 100% full but have not reached the required voltage. Push more charge into it and they will gulp it continuously for more than 3 hours.
If they don't float, the voltage will be dropping faster.

Try charging using utility or generator simultaneously with your PV until the charging current reduces to like 2A while the voltage is 55.2V steady. Try the load again after this and see how long it last.

4. The guy is quoting 850k for the Huawei 48v 150ah and 750k for the 48v,100ah

The Mantrac has 15 cells in it and not 16.
If anything goes wrong with a cell or 2, u can't replace it cause they are welded.
Also confirm the source of the sales whether it's the telecom company that's selling or not before u buy trouble.
If price is 750k I rather buy 51.2v/104ah from valtech with 16 cells brand new with Bluetooth BMS @900k+and the cells can easily be replaced if need arises .

Please, those that are using Jbd bms should give me more education on it.
I attached 150A Jbd bms to 160ah 48v battery bank and carried out all the settings to the best of my knowledge.
The major challenge I'm having now is how to push the soc to 100% while charging. The soc usually stop at 98% with individual cells of about 3.4v each.
At this point, the individual cells will keep charging, moving forward to my set value of 3.45v each and the TotalVolt will equally move to 55.22v.
Why is the soc not moving to 100% as the individual cells and TotalVolt are moving?
At 3.45v each cells and 55.22v TotalVolt, the battery is fully charged and won't accept charge again. Once I noticed this, I would go to Control and click on Reset Capacity to push the soc to 100%.
Is this the usual practice in jbd bms?

I had the same problem of constantly Resetting that Jbd BMS and got tired.

While the other charging current is set at 60A I guess that is for PV.
When you told me you Cook with yours, that convinced me it's a great product.

This is the one I have with green coloured LCD. The second one I bought has white coloured LCD.
They have changed the design and probably changed the quality of that product which is really bad.

My cooker consumes 1800W and my heat gun is about 2000W.
The inverter runs these without sweating (not at same time anyway).

Heats up easily while charging with Nepa, the fan stays on through out the charging period.
Damaged my laptop chargers. (All those kikiki sounds, from there the charger will stop working)
Haven't loaded it more than 300 watts so I don't know how it handles load.

This one serious. It's not upto a month you mentioned buying this item and it's already giving issues.
The one I have does not fan continuously.
Check Utility charging current if it's set to Max. ( If yes, U can reduce to 60-70% if the fan still blows continuously).

Boss have you tried this Must inverters, do they have fakes and do they have repair centers across the country. I noticed they are cheaper compared to Felicity

I actually have one I bought in 2021, the 3KW and it's still working till date. Use it to cook ones in a while. The second was bought for a client late in 2021 and still in use till date but they modified it recently and this current version is what I have not used.

There are guys now who can repair those inverters though they charge higher,30k upwards depending on the level of fault.

If you have money go for Victron or Deye else just get a common one for your budget. MUST is ok
Number of batteries and run time depends on load. Monocrystalline is a type not a brand.
There are inverters with batteryless function which can work without batteries.

Just State your loads and budget for the system so You can get a reasonable quote.

I've been wondering, what is the difference between sachet inverter and the bigger Stabilizer/UPS/Wall mounted type of inverter?

Someone posted a 3,000w sachet inverter for 66k ... But the other non sachet inverter of same rating would probably cost 200k

Aren't they the same and what's the difference?

The 200k inverter has:

inbuilt chargers which can cost minimum of 25k.

There is probably built in mppt charge controller which can cost minimum of 50k.
There is a display screen and option of editable settings where u can change some settings to suit your needs especially lithium battery charging,output voltage,charging current etc.

The small sachet inverters like u call them serves its purpose when on tight budget.
