BRATISLAVA: Watch that fxexperts thinks about this.
I do not think about this because it is your type who did this. your type of woman feels their hatred for anything rather than themselves will engage in this kind of wickedness.
Offpoint1: Wish this generation can keep somethings off the internet. It's sicking.
If you ever rendered me any assistance and I see it anywhere online... I would shove it down your ass and you can go to the deepest part of hell.
A helper should never post their helpee... Let the helpee be the one to post the helper.
It's awkward to rendered help to someone and broadcast on the net.
People are truly good from their hearts don't need people validation or praises... It's a trait by not so good people who want to appear good.
You how many people have you helped in your life before. it is people who has never helped anyone in their life before and can never afford to do so that feel pained whenever they see another who helped and feels they are shoving it down his throat.
Does she want public approval? Is her conscience or God's blessing not good enough for her
She wants to be congratulated for adopting a child no one forced her to, what does that say about her?
because you have never helped anyone before in your entire life. But if it is the one who use hot iron to beat little children it is good to post right. i have said it most of you people prefer to hear and read bad news about others. but when it is something good you all feel pained why?
BRATISLAVA: You're incredibly stupid if this is all you can come up with. I didn't read past your first sentence.
Keep tolerating the rape and killing of women with whatever upside down logic you can muster. Unless you're on Mars where there are no women, your submission is a waste of time.
That's how a guy was preaching about rape until his own sister was raped and he was crying for justice forgetting that she was the cause of her own mishap.
Again this BRATISLAVA has come with her stupid and dumb way of thinking. i also didn't read pass your first word. I think you have a serious comprehension problem. Anyone who does not agree with your dumb way of thinking is a rape apologist. olodo feminist like you. I am one person who is advocating death to all rapists, that does not mean i will not advice my sister or any female close to me to be very careful at all times. For your info olodo the world doesn't revolve around your ass.
BRATISLAVA: You'd be surprised it is someone she knows very well.
What did you expect her to do anyway, when she was making a business deal not knowing he was a rapist? What is there to learn? That there should be a separate planet for men because they are rapists and cannot be trusted?
Or that men should be the ones to learn to stop raping and killing women?
"Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them."
Yet men will preach that women should learn. Learn that men are dangerous? Why exactly won't men learn about themselves? Women have learned but will men ever learn?
Keep preaching the wrong message to the audience and soon enough men will blame their killing, raping and theft on women. Well, it always happens here, is happening in your post, so that's an old fact.
Crimes like this will go on until men learn, removing the beam from their eyes and being honest that they are the problem. A woman was killed and the message is to women. The culprit? What message to men?
Keep deceiving yourself in your tiny mind trying to always absorb yourself of any form of responsibility to your own safety. because you are so lazy to even think you do not want to do anything and only keep wishing for the world to be just perfect without putting any effort for your own safety. the person who gave an advice above is trying to advice you to apply your heart to wisdom so as to be safe all the time and you are here shifting it to a war against men again. no problem continues. We all know that there are evil people armed robbers, kidnapper's organ harvesting in this world both men and women, so we apply our wisdom to know when to go out to lonely places and even late-night movement i try my best to avoid it at all times. so, you are saying here that we should not lock our doors or avoid late night rather we should tell the armed robber to stop stealing abi. continue. dey play just dey play.
Domaining101: Who knows, this one might be the next to die in helicopter crash like that Wigwe and his wife and son 😂 After all the enjoyment, traveling all over the world, flying jets and helicopter up and down, eating chicken and turkey, drinking juice, shebi e don end? I Heard it was even cardboard they use in bringing their smelling dead bodies back from Ablord 😂 When the fools where alive, you'll never see them doing anything for poor people, there own na to dey send their children go abroad go school, MIT, Cambridge, Oxford, as if na their kind dey go all those kind schools with their empty brain, while our own for here wey sabi book pass them 1000 times dey on strike, let them go and die abeg. How i wish they did open coffin the way they did for tb Joshua, i would have loved to see how their burnt and disfigured bodies would look like, make i laugh small and see weda all the enjoyment and millions go still dey show for their dead body😂 rubbish
How i wish God can take elumelu and that his three daughters next, i go too happy like mad
Ogbeni do not go and work. be there waiting for who will come and spoon feed you. when these people parents were hustling to make money where were your parents. the death you are wishing the rich only shows that you and your generation will die poor.
jaksmillioniar: That the problem of to marry a woman u cant control I ask who control d money cos she got money can he dicipline her. No. Will she b humble no will she cook for him. No
base on say na animal wen you buy keep for house abi. you should stay far away from some one else daughter, just keep having sex with yourself. soapy is good for you.
BRATISLAVA: Thought once a woman is wealthy it means she's a good one, or that her husband is a king?
Yes of course he is a king. so no to broke ass bitches.
erico2k2: There are people manipulating issues surrounding the Naira. There is no significant world change in Dollars, as the price of Pounds to Dollar remains significantly Thes same all through this Dollar saga in Nigeria.
Yes there is no significant change in the value of dollar, pounds or Euro as the case may be. but there has been significant change in the value of the Naira, infact the naira is declining in value at a fast rate, that is due to the excess printing of the Naira beyond productivity. those crooks in CBN and government thinks they can just steel the seat and anyone who controls the CBN can just print free papers as money, without consequence. Those guys want to increase the money in circulation beyond what the capacity of the economy can maintain. So when there are excess Naira chasing very little goods the value is bound to reduce. That is the effect we are seeing now and at the moment no one trust the CBN and the Naira anymore so no one wants a currency where the CBN and the president can just wake up one morning and print excess note that will bring down the value of their currency without notice.
Jokers. i schooled in that same awka. we use to kill monkey for pepper soup. there was one day one of my Neighbour fired one monkey on the tree as soon as the monkey fell we quickly grab it, then one of the useless indigenes from the other compound who saw it came into our company and started asking useless question that he saw a monkey shot here the way we quickly threw him out of our compound Ehn and warned him never to step his foot in that compound again. that was the end. Ndiala people.
KORLAR: Only ignorant people would take your comedic submission as fact.
The obviously observable fact is that naira stopped its free flow depreciation against the dollar after the govt clamped down on binance.
And that’s fact.
And i guess the price of goods and services also had the same downward projection after the clampdown. you guys are just jokers. come in a few months' time and let's see if you will make this statement again.
ivolt: The writer has been fooled. He thinks he can help CBN on a goose chase.
The $26 billion is a figment of Cardoso's imagination. They needed a scapegoat for the falling Naira and they found Binance a good spot because some group of idiots kept posting Binance's USDT rates as the true exchange rate even though we know that USDT is not dollar and you don't need dollar to buy USDT.
With the fact that Binance has been banned in several western and anti-Chinese countries, the CBN latched on to it and label the platform the face of evil.
If the CBN believes that Binance determines Naira exchange rate, all it need do is to push its own agents or make deal with some BDC to register on the platform and manipulatively sell at the lower "true" rate so those quoting the rate will be forced to adapt or leave. It could alsoe have secretly pressured Binance to remove or limit the activities of the "manipulators". Binance did about a million dollar-Naira transactions per day. Imagine if the CBN opened its own kiosk to generate $1 million USDT at the true rate, the "manipulators", would run out of business or be forced to sell at the "true" rate.
But the government needed the theatrics, an external scapegoat that people can curse and attack for the bad economy. It is all showmanship.
In few months, the whole Binance issue will not be mentioned anymore and it will be quietly retired. We won't get any update about the $26 billion or the owners again after that.
Exactly the truth. Cardi B need alot to learn from your writeup. but it is obvious they just employed dunce into this government.
NeckingNgulping: Every now and then, i see news of women throwing their men out in the UK. This begs for a few questions..
Don't the men have the wherewithal to get a house for themselves that they chose to live with a woman i believe takes care of the rent?
Do they not notice when the problem is looming, so they can vacate on their own without being thrown out?
You paid 24k pound for her school fees and you didn't plan to get an apartment for yourself knowing how women in UK are always prone to throwing their men out.
When they say read, you will not read. did you even read the op post?
eazzzy1: Nobody can throw you out of a house you pay for. The police may advise that you leave until the situation is calmer but you can’t be ejected as long as your name is on the lease. The men who leave either want to leave, don’t know their rights, or are avoiding the police because they are illegals.
Until the court rules on who should keep the house or the kids, no gree for anybody.
Faiththatworks: I feel very very very sad about this news. I don't understand why the Government is forcing binance to delist the naira from the exchange. It's a very very very bad idea,I have repeatedly said it on Nairaland that Government should regulate the activities of binance, but I totally disagree with removing the naira on the platform. Although some people may disagree but sincerely the naira has been a bit stable in the last 2 weeks since Government forced binance to stop allowing the naira to trade on the exchange. I was very critical of the modus operandi of binance and how it kept speculating on the value of the naira,If not for Government intervention,I'm sure the Naira would have been more than 2000 naira on the exchange. Now to how it will affect Nigerians, the CBN governor himself said 26 billion dollars was traded through binance last year, that's a very huge and staggering figure,I dare say it's just a little less than the annual budget of Nigeria,in essence binance is almost becoming a country in its own. The money traded on binance is almost equal to our foreign reserve,no industry in Nigeria can compete for dollar demand like that traded in Binance. Government must understand the crypto market with players like binance are helping Nigerians in meeting up some of its dollar need, and stopping the use of the naira on binance will lead to the downward spiral of the naira. Let us assume the 26 billion dollar traded on binance is true,I believe half must be demand from genuine people who want to maybe send or receive money. Government must understand this demand for crypto can't be wished away,if these people decide to source for their usd in the forex market, the CBN will never be able to meet up with the supply, and I'm sure even Mr Cardoso knows this. Nigeria doesn't have any Dollars right now to be used in meeting demand from crypto buyers. I advise Mr Cardoso to have a rethink, this is a policy somersault from his office, early this year he liberalised the use of crypto trading in Nigeria, now he's reversing the policy. I appeal to the Minister of Digital Economy, the NSA, Minister of Finance and the Minister of Youth Affairs have a round table on how to regulate the use of Crypto exchanges in Nigeria. This policy will Affect mostly young Nigerians, pls don't make it harder on them. God bless Nigeria
What more can we say the government is so dumb and they will pay dearly for their dumbness. nice writeup, the government will not see intelligent write like this to implement, but they will always do whatever dumb idea that comes to their head.
erico2k2: This was how Zimbabwe ended up where they are, it cost more to print thier money than the value of the note.
Exactly that is where Nigeria is heading to.
Charlieabc: Naira is still depreciating with all the measures.
There are invisible hands manipulating the affairs of this nation
There are no invincible hands. it is just the law of supply and demand. the CBN along the government is too dumb to do any meaningful thing about it.
Ayomipoe: Yes. Literarily. When speculation was rife before the ban. There were periods when you could not see USDT to buy for NGN. There is still a high demand for USD and there are no local substitutes for some necessary demands. Tinubu is kind of walking the knife's edge, there needs to be a drastic cut in government social services spending and their expenditure. The legislature needs a similar cut as well. The problem is that if you ask an average Nigerian, they'd be adamant that the government does not do anything for them in the first place. Petrol should be 1600NGN per litre, electricity should be priced by the discos independently. However, those cuts are steep and would increase social unrest. I wish him the best
At the bolded. if you are a crypto or forex trading you will very much understand why it happened like. that was a news speculation we do trade it as fundamentals. it has alot to do with people emotion fear and anxiety, some even sold their USDT for as low as 1300 to a USDT. at that point USDT become scarce because their was no one willing to buy at as everyone was scared and they all wanted to convert their USDT to naira at any available price above N1000 and a lot of people actually sold their USDT at that time so i can say we have a lot of USD in the economy right now. now that the naira is stable if the government do not do any reasonable thing to get the naira value up it will nosedive very fast again, Binance or no binance trading.
SenecaTheYonger: It serves you guys right. You had a little bit of control over the exchange rate so you kept increasing it by 99naira everyday just to make small profit. At the expense of 199 million Nigerians.
USDT is not scarce. I’ve never in my life heard of scarcity of USDT. So why did the price keep increasing?
You use Naira to buy USDT. You can never use dollar to buy USDT in Nigeria.
Since the clamp down on Binance, Naira has gone from 1k7 to 1k5 and it’s been hovering about 1k5 since that time. Seriously, what were you guys doing at Binance?
Both Naira and USDT are not scarce, so why the outrageous increase everyday?
You are just dumb like the government i swear.
Blacklion3: Crypto is being used to move funds with less scrutiny. You can't know better than the CBN when it comes to tracking their own money. Money leaves a trail
I can argue that i know far better than your useless president.
spinna: Only in Nigeria once people see something good they rush in .. and they proceed to spoil it by cheating the system..
Eg dubai..
E.g binance
So how do the innocent ones who work hard in the freelance market to earn REAL usdt now change it to naira?
It is easy there are still a lot of exchangers who will exchange your USDT for naira. they are many. this government is a joke.
nairalanda1: Zim that has stopped using their currency, and uses dollars and rand instead?
OK.
Of course that might be the case of Nigeria soon. we will stop using the useless naira and start using dollars and pounds. Africans are extremely dumb people, i guess they destroys anything they touch. If you give them the power to print dollar then trust me. dollar will become like pure water pretty soon, and the value will nosedive seriously.
ozo13: when guys mention harsh economy policies am always confuse unless it's different from what other candidates promised they were also going to do during the election.i need someone to explain things to me in clear term as regards the harsh economic policies. When We had our Chances and excess of dollars to improve ourselves as a country we did absolutely nothing to better ourselves economically. Now we lost the opportunity and it came back hard bitting. I remembered when crude was selling for 120dollars per barrel and our daily oil output or production was cool we never saved for the raining days we were forming dorime on oil money.
This guy is an Ode. So if the administration you just mention actually saved every single penny they sold crude oil for and didn't spend any single penny from the so called $120 they sold crude then. so are you saying in your tiny imagination that the last two useless administration will have enough left to still spend at this time to pay your tiny N30K monthly abi. I do not really know how you lots even think. Truely i give up on you people. you all are something else. You are still blaming ten years ago for the catastrophe your kind are making people go through now. i spit on you, i swear. How much is crude oil price today. what is the difference from the so-called $120 you are quoiting. use your tongue to count your teeth ode.
adamusuleiman1: 1.25% depreciation, and you are dancing leg work.. It's an exchange rate system and would fluctuate..Don't forget to come back and update when it rises by 1.5% tomorrow for a % variance of 0.25.
keep deceiving yourself in a bid to please your agbado god.
pocom16: Everyone with their opinion.. Emiefele printed so much money...yet he tried to withdraw most of them causing naira scarcity..
Why then didn't the naira gain value when there were so little naira in circulation during the election..
Abegiii.. Is it today CBN started printing money?
Continue spending 45% of Ur reserve importing petroleum products... key importing every damn item from food to toothpicks ...and then reduce money in circulation let see how fa..
If the money in circulation is too much...why can't cardi B shutdown printing for now
Mind you. Emefielefe never reduced money in circulation, he only made it difficult for Nigerians to spend their money. As you can see then he made the naira note to have more value than the actual naira itself. So why paper money was scarce there was a lot of money through e-channels. I do not know why you guys do not understand the real concept of money. I do not know how you guys think that a government can just wake up and print excess money and you expect the currency to retain its value. If it is that simple all the government of the world will just be printing money anyhow and stop focusing on any form of governance and taxation na. your economy is only valued for let say N30 billion and then you go ahead to print N100b naira, and you think the currency value will remain the same. Oga. How will you feel if after you spend all your years working in your farm and some guys from the government just keep printing paper to collect all your produce.
Okra soup is simply a stewed okra soup recipe. It is a very popular delicacy among the Yoruba ethnic group of western Nigeria. It is also known as Ila Alasepo by the Yorubas. This Nigerian Okra soup recipe can be replicated with or without Palm oil. It is also by far the cheapest soup one could prepare in the country.
N200 – Okro N150 – Grounded Pepper N200 – Palm Oil N300 – Ponmo You will even be left with a change of N200
The op that wrote this article dey ment. he is a big fool. you use pepper full everywhere. so you dont use salt, crayfish and even maggi in your okro. and with the quantity of okro you both i guess this is a one time meal for at most two persons, dey play.
amadiwati: Production is the key word. That is our only source of revival. These FG knows this, yet....
That is a long term plan. on the short run they should remove the excess naira that they printed. i do not mean the physical note alone i means also the ones in their bank account, afterall they were the ones who printed those money we were not involved. they should mop the ones in their bank account and burn the coins. crypto experts know what i am talking about when tokens are burnt the value of the token goes up. even the almighty binance did the same thing some's years ago with their BNB, the burnt some BNB token and the value of the BNB went over the roof.
DEmejioba1: When they decide to mop up currencies now,you people will still be shouting shouting
Currency is not only the physical note what about the enaira? what about the naira in their bank accounts. They should mop up the excess naira they printed to pay salaries both from the government account and the ones in circulation and watch how the naira gains value overnight.
Tareq1105: Naira had to be floated bcoz you don't expect Tinubu to continue to subsidize dollars to save Naira from sliding down against the dollar.
Buhari was spending $1.5b monthly to hold Naira, and Tinubu said he was not ready to do such hence the free fall.
Then tell him to mop up the excess naira he printed recklessly.
H2ho: Obaseki said it in 2022….we seeing the aftermath now.
Exactly and I have been shouting about it on this forum for ages now. but some agbado supporters choose to believe some lies they were told by their mini god.
JoshTim: Kindly ask Mr. Otti what his government is doing in term of inititatives to drive/encourage/attract/part fund local production or them dey forbid state government to create and enable local production?....He should start with Aba; how do we startardize local outputs?
Even if Mr Otti turn Abia to an industrial hub with massive export and all the 36 states start exporting massively and your useless Tinubu continue his massive printing spree of the Naira the currency will continue to nosedive. Do you think the USA and UK print pounds and dollars whenever they have the need to pay salaries. Then what are taxes for. You all saw a man whom you knew advised Buhari to print excess naira to pay salaries and you all went to vote for him. so you all never knew he will print the naira recklessly. make una dey play.
They are increasing the amount of the naira in circulation. this is not about old or new note. in a sane clime when the government wants to get rid of old currency notes, they first of all receive the old note in their vault then print new notes with the same value as the old one and then proceed to destroy the old one in their possession. you do not allow both currencies to be used side by side. but what do i expect from a dumb president.
The naira was floated simple.. A country that imports more than she exports..such a currency can't gain value ..
Until we find a way to increase dollar inflow through more exports..or we cut down substantial amount of import.. the naira will still continue to nosedive..
What did you just say at the bolded. why have you guys refused to think and learn. just like your government. how can you make such statement at all. So, you are trying to tell me that if for instance the value of the Nigerian economy all goods are services in valued at about N10billion for instances and the CBN go ahead to print a N100b instead of N10b you are saying the currency value will not go down. Even if we are producing everything, we consume in this country as long as the government keeps printing money recklessly the value of the Niara will keep nosediving and believe you me it will get to a state when manufacturer will no longer accept the Naira as a legal tender because it is everywhere like toilet paper. What is money in the first place? that piece of paper you are holding in your hand is not the true value of money, but the value of goods and service it can get you, that is what defines its true value. Remember one very important property of money is that it is scarce not litter everywhere like pure water.
Omoawoke: Unfortunately for you, I’m not currently in the same country with you . Mr fx expert na ogun go kill you , go find better work do and leave our National currency alone
Your illiteracy stink from high heaven. See this agabdo living sango. this dirty guy living in sango. you are right we are both not in the same country. na ogun go kill your papa and your entire generation.
stano2: No worry this one would still be shut down. So people should signup because of your stupid referral bonus. Show us more, so CBN will shut it down asap
This olodo is giving to much power to your dead CBN. they cant do shit, Binance just played an intelligent game on you jokers, they will open up p2p soon.
Richtaiwo: The Obis praying for the fx to be 2000/$ because gringory lost election will be very sad with this news. They will soon start crying everywhere.
gullible fellows, the first kidnap your papa then your mama and then your siters, then the decide to kill your papa and your release your mama and sister then you become happy and started chanting their praises for killing your father and releasing your mother and sister. una dull nor be small. How much did your Tinubu meet the dollar to naira exchange rate. If you ignorant lots know how the forex market moves you will all know that this is nothing but a retracement / corrective move, if the root cause of the problem is not addressed the dollar will move up massive and create BOS ( Break of structure.) Olodo keep rejoicing.
Shurtman79: see them self center people you only after your self what about others
Go and tell that to your government to stop printing money anyhow. now that this is done let us see how it will help the naira if your useless presido keeps printing the naira like toilet paper.
Omoawoke: Forget trial and error, this thing is killing our currency
Which thing if i may ask. too bad i am sharing this country with illiterates like you, go and look for the real reason why your Naira has lost it value.
People should go and look for value adding work to do not trading on our national currency
So because you are a dummy and should follow you and become that dummy too abi.
Omoawoke: There are over a thousand and one professional skills you can learn online. When they say education is invaluable, some people call am scam. The world is evolving and so many remote jobs requiring current skills are there. People are in Nigeria earning FX by working remotely,… invest in yourself and be updated to the current demand of the world. Among include PMP, cybersecurity, IT audit, Compliance, data privacy, sustainability etc Trading on your country’s currency is not work, it’s like people cutting off wood from their ship to build a canoe. All the money you think you are making from your currency will injure you the more when your economy crumbles.
You guys never cease to amaze me. so it is okay if your CBN keeps printing the naira like toilet paper abi. you guys should go and look for the real reason your currency is losing its value. tell those your government to stop printing the money anyhow.
SoNature: A typical Nigerian is dubious, opportunistic and hypocritical. In fact, 99% of Nigerians fall into one, two or three of all these categories, so I am not surprised!
