Becacia_Barbie: Hmm...nice and informative write up.I experienced same when I was in Malaysia. Nigerian youths have really spoiled our image over there and racism is rife. |
honey001: Pray for divine interpretation of the word of God, so that God will open ur inner heart and understands the word of God better. Stop spreading this type of message. How is it different from the lie you are spreading that tattooing is not a sin? You are the one in need of prayers because you are still living in darkness. |
jmoore: so those who have tribal marks are in sin? Drawing something on my hand with a pen is a sin? Old testament mentality is keeping some people under bondage. You know not what you say/type. |
Mr_Anony: My friend do you mean to tell me that if I preach to a young native Swahili girl who walks around naked as part of their culture, that the Holy Spirit won't work with her because she is naked? I don't think so.You are the one trying to confine Christianity within cultural walls. Your geographical location or culture is not what determines what constitutes a sin and what doesnt; sinful act is universal. You cant tell me what is a sin in Mexico is/may not be a sin in Papua New Guinea. God will not judge humans based on culture because He is not biased; we serve the same God and He will use the same standard in judging. Now, simply because an act is acceptable in a certain culture doesnt make it right - not all cultures are right. In ancient Igbo communities, twins were considered evil and so were killed. The fact that it was the culture of the people at the time doesnt make it right. In some cultures cannibalism is practised, now does that mean it's right? So to your argument: simply because women in some cultures walk around naked doesnt make it right, has it occured to you that they may still be living in darkness and yet to see the light of Christ which is why they walk around nude? Just as cannibalism and the killing of twins were practised in some cultures before seeing the light of Christ. God and Christianity transcends culture, so please dont try to confine God, Christianity or the definition of a sin within cultural boundaries. Right/good is universal just as sin/evil is universal before God. |
Look at these end-time pastors...just keep deceiving yourselves by determining for yourselves what is a sin and what isnt instead of letting the Bible do that fir you. This is what Christianity has deteriorated into. |
Mr_Anony: You and I will both agree that tattooing falls into the same category of outward appearances like shaving hair, joining different fabrics and sowing different seed. We both know that it is the God inside that matters and not the outward appearances. How dare you equate tattooing with shaving or joining different fabric. Tattooing permanently damages your body while the hair you shave is actually a waste product. And pls enough of the crap about God only cares about the inside, people have found themselves in hell for indecent exposure and the likes. Ok, so if a girl goes about exposing herself, it does not matter to God as long as her heart is right with God? Bros, please you are leading people astray. You cannot divorce the inside from the outside because the two make the whole body/man. So if your outside/body is 'dirty' then your inside/heart is also definitely 'dirty'. |
Mr_Anony: For something very related, why don't you read 1 Cor 8 for what Paul says about food offered to idols. He said you should not take such food if it makes your brother fall or weak. So why get a tattoo if it can affect the faith of a brother? It's a sin to cause a brother to fall. |
Mr_Anony:If nothing is unclean in itself except you consider it unclean, it means murder, fornication, idolatery, adultery, etc are not unclean in themselves except you consider them unclean (lol). You need wisdom to understand the context in which Paul was speaking/writing and those he was actually addressing. That utterance by Paul is not meant for everybody. 1 Thes. 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Cor. 8:13 Therefore, if food makes my brother to stumble, I will eat no meat while the world stands, lest I make my brother to stumble. Rom. 14: 21 It is good neither to eat meat, nor to drink wine, nor anything by which your brother stumbles, or is offended, or is made weak. |
I pity these folks insulting MOG |

He’s a self-made tech mogul worth billions, but that didn’t stop Google co-founder Sergey Brin from riding the New York City subway this weekend. Brin, 39, who ranks No. 20 on Forbes’ annual list of most powerful people, may have blended in on the downtown-bound No. 3 train in his jeans and pullover were it not for his futuristic, high-tech glasses . A tech buff said he spotted Brin, who now heads up special projects for Google, riding the subway wearing a prototype of the much-buzzed about glasses from Google's Project Glass , which are promised to overlay digital information on the physical world. "Yeeeah… I just had a brief conversation with the most powerful man in the world. On the downtown 3 train," Noah Zerkin, a self- proclaimed "wearable computing and augmented reality enthusiast," tweeted with a photo of Brin in the glasses. “Nice guy. Brin was wearing - or presumably testing - the glasses, which are billed as searching the Internet and showing you anything you need, right in front of your eyes, from maps of where you are to the weather forecast if you look up. You can connect the glasses to a phone via Bluetooth and use the phone's 3G or 4G connection. There's also a camera on the front that can take photos of whatever you are seeing; you can share the photos instantly. Noah Zerkin, a self-proclaimed "wearable computing and augmented reality enthusiast," said he was the first to spot Brin. |
CNN80: @ Sagamite, please I understand that you are annoyed with FXking2012 but you can get your point across without insults. You may end up damaging your brain debating that dimwit called sagamite because he's so shallow that in his arguments you will come across the words person and cretin more times than you will a valid and intelligent post. Imagine a human being (if he's actually one) who thinks he's right all the time and never wrong, any remotely intelligent person knows only a f00l is capable of making such a moronic statement. I gave him a front row seat in my ignore list for a reason, and he's staying glued to the seat until he grows up - I don't debate kids. The likes of him is the reason I shed tears for Nigeria everyday, just imagine passing his genes to his offspring while they populate Nigeria... Now you see why I shed those tears for my country? |
honourhim: tattoo is not decent for a child of God. i dont even see any thing that is worth desiring about it. Our body is the temple of God and i think we should be careful how we handle the temple. we shouldnt be too fast in pursuing whatever that is in vogue.Thank you very much, so many people lack wisdom to make the right decisions. Jesus was angry when He saw that the temple was being decimated that he had to chase the sellers out. Now, our body is the temple of God, decimating it in any way is not what God will be happy with. |
Another great post. Weldone! |
Very nice post. Yes I believe several factors should be considered before granting the settlement such as whether the woman was made to stop working by the husband. We cant just label any woman who isnt working as lazy, I think thatz just stuupid! |
ichidodo: All these ranting for a harmless joke? Abeg go drink breastt milk.If bigotry is even remotely funny to u then u need to get ur head checked. |
babyosisi: How do u know they are not IbosI know a senseless bigot when I see one. You claim u are married, and yes, your husband looks awesome going by his pix on your profile. Sometimes I dont blame nincompoops like u, u are a product of a failed system so u have the right to be intellectually bankrupt. Nitwits like u is why Nigeria is doomed! |
babyosisi: Igbos again?Ok...must u sound stuuuupid? As in seriously, must u expose your folly in here? Pls just try to be smart even though u are obviously incapable of it; at least pretend u are capable of logical reasoning for once. |
FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Research in Motion will look into strategic alliances with other technology companies once it has launched its new BlackBerry 10 models, its chief executive told a German newspaper. German-born CEO Thorsten Heins told daily Die Welt in an interview published on Monday that the group's strategic review could lead to the sale of RIM's hardware production or the sale of licenses to its software, among other options. "The main thing for now is to successfully introduce Blackberry 10. Then we'll see," Heins was quoted as saying. RIM hopes its re-engineered line of Blackberry 10 touch-screen and keyboard devices will win back market share lost to rivals such as Apple's iPhone and devices powered by Google's market-leading Android operating system. www.news.yahoo.com/rim-mulls-licensing-software-ceo-paper-071817725--finance.html?.tsrc=yahoo |
The post of the year for me. |
The waste product called Sagamite wants a reaction from me but below is why he'll never get it. FXKing2012: I've lost count of the number of times you have used the terms person and cretin in your comments. And going through your posts in other threads, person and cretin appear over 95% of the time. Because you lack the capacity to engage in an intellectual argument in a civilized manner, so all you do is jump from thread to thread insulting folks. |
