Christianity EtcRe: Tattoo On The Body Is Evil by FXKing2012(op): 9:02am On Jan 17, 2013
@Goshen360, I totally agree with you. I already made it abundantly clear that body marks that are as a result of circumstances beyond ones control could never be termed sinful.
And I also believe God will not hold it against you if the tatoos were got before becoming born again.
Christianity EtcRe: Tattoo On The Body Is Evil by FXKing2012(op): 8:53am On Jan 17, 2013
Joagbaje: What ever you do with your body by the reason of decoration or whatsoever does not constitute sin.
You are very wrong sir, read the following Bible passages:
1 Timothy 2:9
"Likewise also that women should
adorn themselves in respectable
apparel, with modesty and self-
control, not with braided hair and
gold or pearls or costly attire."

Leviticus 19:28
New International Version (NIV)
'‘Do not cut your bodies for the
dead or put tattoo marks on
yourselves. I am the LORD.

Christianity EtcRe: Attacks On Christianity Confirms Its Authenticity by FXKing2012(op): 6:43am On Jan 17, 2013
Good morning sir!
I was referring strictly to the attacks emanating from atheists especially here on NL.
You hardly hear/read atheists attacking any other religion, their attacks/criticisms are always about Christianity and Christians.
Christianity EtcRe: Should Atheists Have Their Own Board? by FXKing2012(op): 6:22am On Jan 17, 2013
Why would the religion board be atheist infested?
Because they (atheists) have no substance thus no core which is why they look for entities to attach themselves to in order to survive and feign relevance (hmnnn...reminds me of parasites).

Christianity EtcAttacks On Christianity Confirms Its Authenticity by FXKing2012(op): 6:13am On Jan 17, 2013
Ever wondered why Christianity is constantly being attacked by atheists despite having countless religions out there?
The answer is because the devil knows that Christianity is the only true relationship with God so he (the devil) uses his agents to attack Christianity on all fronts.

Such attacks further convince me of the authenticity of Christianity and reinvigorates my belief in the one true relationship.

PS: Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship.
Christianity EtcRe: 101 Contradictions In The Bible by FXKing2012(m): 5:56am On Jan 17, 2013
alameenLM: In summary, the bible isn't HOLY & its definitely not the words of a God worth worshipping.
You are a jobless eeeeediot so the devil gave u a job to manufacture flaws in the Holy Bible in order to dissuade people from believing and serving God.

How could someone who is neither a Christian nor have the spiritual standing to understand and interpret the Bible talk about the contents of the Bible?

You and your master have already failed!

FamilyRe: Divorce Settlement And Child-Support Be Introduced In Nigeria? by FXKing2012(op): 7:20pm On Jan 16, 2013
FXKing2012: The laws we have in Nigeria is fundamentally flawed; it is way too biased towards men.
Our laws enslave women who are forced to stay in a relationship/union even when they are not happy in it. Why should such continue?

Some say the divorce settlement law will encourage divorce therefore we should not implement it. I think that notion is very selfish and only meant to protect men even while enslaving and mistreating women.

We've seen cases where the man beats the wife daily, leaves her with permanent disabilities or even beat her to death. The women stay in such unions because our law does not protect them - doesnt necessarily mean they are happy in the marriage. So the fact that divorce rate is lower in Nigeria compared to the west does not mean we are happier in our relationships/marriages.

And when you try to defend the defenceless (women) you are termed a sissy. This shows how patriarchal our society really is.

You are very wrong sir!
Corper is colloquial for corps member, so it is right.
I dont know off hand is very wrong, you say I dont know by heart.

Hope you've learned something here?

imperiouxx: Well that's a good explanation but two days ago, I almost had me roof blown off when I was telling an American friend about their English and the British English we use in Nigeria.

American friend's reply: We don't give a fucck about the British, it is you guys who the British kicked, forced their words into your mouths that get sober when you hear anything about the British and it's because they are your gods. Na so I lipsrsealed my fucck up. undecided

Americans when carried away by talk will start saying: She don't wanna do that. undecided And it's fine by them. O' Americans! grin
Americans are way too arrogant; to hell with them and their arrogance.

imperiouxx: grin grin americans don't give a fucck about what they like to call baby...either unborn child or 20 years old. British English will be looking for it/she/he.

Americans can say "It is my baby for their kid and He/She is my dog for their pet" grin
Because the British are the owners of the language thus the perfection they seek as far as their language is concerned.
When something is yours you tend to take very good care of it but when not yours you treat it anyhow. That explains why American and Australian English differs from Queens English.

boborosky: These are some errors we make in our everyday english language. Post those u knw.
Napkin(babies) instead of nappy.
Plate number. instead of number plate.
Driving licence. instead of driver's licence.
Barbash.instead of, balderdash (nonsense).
Packer. instead of, dustpan.
Infidel (for an unfaithful partner) is wrong. Though unfaithfulness = infidelity.
Contact a disease. instead of, contract a disease.
Eye/sun glass. instead of, eye/sun glasses.
More grease 2 ur elbow. Instead of, more power 2 ur elbow.
Low current. instead of, low voltage.
Half bread is better dan none. instead of, half a loaf is better dan no bread.
I am coming (when going out or away). Instead of, i will b back.
I am hearing u. Instead of , i can hear u. The same applies to 'see'.
He/she is my baby (babies). Instead of , it is my baby. Pronoun for baby is 'it'.
she delivered a baby boy. Instead of, she was delivered of a baby boy.
Open d floor (occasions) instead of declare d floor open.
Running nose. Instead of, runny nose.
Raining season. Instead of, rainy season.
Alright. Instead of, all right
Nice one but few corrections:
plate number and number mean two different things and are both correct. Plate no is colloquial for registration no.

More grease to your elbow is idiomatic expression meaning sustained or better performance next time. Literally...elbow is a joint and every joint needs oil to operate well. So the statement is right.

Deep Sight: So according to you, it is ok to smash an animal's head open and instantly begin to eat its brain therein?

And this is the same man who goes around preaching Bible gospel and says that it is a sin for women to have low cuts of their hair.

Chei. You dey craze.
I never said it was ok to eat an animal raw, only said @thoth's description of the experience was tempting. Meaning he has a very strong descriptive ability; he has an extremely good literary skill and should be a writer.

And I never said it was a sin for a woman to go on low cut, only gave the the position of the Bible on the subject. I'm not God so I dont judge.

Pls always try to get your facts right before ranting.

dayokanu: I know you cant think for yourself. But at least seek help and find people who can think for you.

They have posited that the average Nigerian IQ is 60 but with people like you pulling it further down how can we progress?

I ask Is it only married people who buy houses, Who provide emotional support for the unmarried people who build houses?

When you want to buy a house, Is it the emotional support the realtor would ask for to hand over the title deeds of the land over?

The women that are the custodian of this emotional support why cant they use it for their own benefit and buy houses?

They use their own money to buy lace and shoes yet want to share from the house the man sweated, starved himself to buy

God punish thieves and their accomplices
I'm really not sure whether you are just intentionally twisting the point being made or your tiny brain is simply incapable of grasping the point.

I never said single guys dont buy land and build houses, the argument is about married folks.
I'm sure you are not married thus the difficulty in understanding it but I'll help your ignorance.

When you are married you cease to be your usual self; it is no longer all about you because u think and discuss with your partner before making any big decision. Your partner advises and encourages you and this is huge if you are able to quantify it in monetary terms.

Have you ever wondered why many men look bigger and better almost immediately after marriage? Trust me it has something to do with the wives. Many men experience promotion in their lives after marriage due to the spiritual, emotional and psychological support from the wives.

I'm not saying single guys dont achieve, I'm saying when you are married it's a different ball game as your wife becomes a major factor whether you rise or fall.

In the African tradition, it is a taboo for a woman to own land or build a house. So the wife, in many cases, give her money to the husband to buy land and build on it in order not to be seen as proud or unsubmissive.
I know many men living in rented apartments who say they could never live in a house built by their wives. So our culture and tradition dont really support women engaging in such investments. Things are changing though due to westernization.

PS: During the days of our parents, the girl child is made to stay at home while the male child is sent to school to learn. This definitely affected many of our mothers as far as investing is concerned. So be careful how you blame them.
