There's no record again to be broken there as far as am concern. When politicians make assertions like this, just know they're lying. Lagos didn't get here in 20 years and if Anambra will really be like Lagos in a short while, then it should prepare for more influx of people, more industries and opportunities to bring people in, favorable conditions to non-indegenes. But he talked as if a cargo airport and seaport is all that's needed to make an economy grow.

The seaport in Lagos is the major thing dat attracted bizness to Lagos hence the influx of pple then industry

Bureau of statistics has said only 4 States in Nigeria can survive without statutory (free money) allocation, championed by the Federal Government, Which Eastern State In Nigeria can survive without Federal allocation? They have no resources other than small oil in Abia, & imo states, coal as fossil fuel that made the east relevant in the last century is basically worthless today, they can’t even use the large deposit of coal in their region to enhance electricity generation? Lack of innovation.

States are not regions, there are six geopolitical regions in Nigeria nd it shud be restructured along d six regions. But that doesnt mean the central (federal govt) will completely ignored those states/regions. Am sure wen they restructure, the regions will contribute some percentage to federal which in turn will be used to execute some project in some regions, in other words the federal can assist some region too

Restructuring won't be by state but by region. Dat is the proposal. If the entire states in a region for instance 'north east' shud come 2geda to form one state, u think they won't have enuf to sustain themselves? Don't 4get, there are more solid minerals in the north than any oda region
