Hello great mentors, I recently got my study permit to resume Jan 1, 2024 to Dalhousie University, Halifax. Please I need your candid advice my great people. 1. When is it advisable to book for flight 2. When is it advisable to resume school, some say 1 week before resumption date is ideal 3. Is it good to book from Cotonou as most flight from Nigeria are very high towards Dec. 4. The cheapest flight I saw has 2 layovers in Brussels and Frankfurt. Is it wise to go for it or will it require transit visa. Thank you dearly. |

The delay is due to the volume of applications IRCC handle these days. Continue to send the webform and mails at least 2 or 3 times a day. You may need to attach your admission letter with the mails and webform to express the frustration the delay I s causing you. Surely, they will answer you soon. Iyere2023: Please can someone make an input on this
Application submitted since 24th July Eligibility started 30th aug Medicals updated to pass 8th sept It’s over 7 weeks and I am worried I have sent countless webform, is this time frame normal? People get medical passes and get PPR within 3days.
Guru’s please what can I do? |

I advice you continuously send them emails through nrobi-im-document@international.gc.ca, NROBIIMDocument@international.gc.ca, nrobi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca, lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca, london-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca, ldnimmigration@international.gc.ca You should also send webform through https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/web-form.htmlCombine these process at least 2 times everyday. They will surely update you soon. kantoronto: Please has anyone experienced this. My medicals was updated on the 11th of July ( with Passed) though upfront medical.
My Biometric was done on the 18th of July and same day was updated (Completed)
Ever since then it's been showing in progress for eligibility, background check and finally decision showing in progress too.
Then last week I was able to check through tracker and it's still showing medicals completed, Biometrics completed while eligibility and background are still showing in progress.
Just yesterday I logged on to my ircc portal and discovery date of medicals has been changed from 11th July to 12th July and Biometric changed from 18th July to 19th July.
So I do not understand why it's so.
Note: the Eligibility and background checks are still reading in progress.

I tired oooo. I submitted June 20, had my biometric July 7. I later went ahead for upfront medical Aug 7, then uploaded the e-medical form through webform Aug 8, got medical passed through application tracker Aug 11. I have been bombarding them since Aug 14 to know update. They only updated it on my application tracker but it still shows eligibility and background verification in progress. My school resumes next week. I have even pleaded with my supervisor to help defer my admission. I'm really tired..... Chibudinho55: I submitted on July 30 with the old portal, my app will be 1month old by tomorrow. |

It will be better to prove that he is your uncle, probably your mum's brother. Let him sworn affidavit to that effect. He will need to show financial commitment by transfering the fund to your personal account. He will also provide his bank statements and proof in the affidavit that sponsoring you will not affect his other financial commitment. Aside this, you should be ready to prove your home or economic ties and write a strong SOP to tidy all. Chubby682: My greetings to everyone here, I am about to apply for the Canadian student permit and I have a question. My dad's friend who is very financially well off,, is willing to sponsor me for a PGD which is a one year program and he deposited $8000(Usd not Cad) in my domiciliary account 8months ago. He willingly to paid first term tuition which is 9000cad and deposits the balance of 9000cad in my domiciliary account. My lingering question is that is tenable to the VO that someone who isn't your family is willing to your education. Expert in the house 🙏 |

Which program is it. I think 10k living expenses is not included in this. So it 34k plus 10k. You can try to get further information from the school. chrisifeanyi: Please from this tuition breakdown, how much do I have to pay as an international student. I'm a bit confused here. Congratulations. Please what can I do to rectify my issue, I applied on June 21 applied for biometrics appointment June 22 but error came that my IRCC number is already in use. I have tried severally even to reschedule or cancel the appointment. It keep asking for reference number that I never had. I even mail them to complain. It only returned automated message that I will be attended to in 2 working days. I don't know what to do next. My resumption due for September 1. Chinnychappy90: Hello everyone. I just created this account. I was here before as Chinnychappy but couldn't remember the password so I just followed the thread as a guest. I just had to create this to encourage the likes of christyjiji that your ppr would come shortly. I got mine on 21st June and till now I haven't been able to express the feeling. I had deferred last year fall start to this year coz of funds plus I just had my baby in march and admission came out in April 2022. I was only able to submit my visa application in mid may and got ppr 21st June Thank you @Osemigho, @just mellow and all others who responded to my questions last year before I deferred. To everyone, you can do it yourself. I got a supervisor, admission and now ppr myself though lots of work was involved. Juggling full time work, caring for kids/family. Submitted 15the May Biometrics done on the 19th and updated on the 22nd Medicals passed on the 23re Eligibility 17th June but I feel it was going on all along coz I got a request letter for my updated LOA on the 19th June. Correspondence/ppr on 21st. All the best people Please don't forget to commit all your actions to God in prayers.
