I was about to open a thread on this same topic.
This stuff is really really sad, most of my childhood crush who were cuties then are now fat with big stomachs posting some creepy pictures on fb with their sad looking fiances.

I had this girl who is a friend, i used to literaly drag her to exercise but she wont, but at every free time she wud go out and set stupid plates of ice creams and other junk foods. 5yrs time niw she will join d fatties posting shit pics on fb with thier sad fiances too.

Anyway i ended my 3mths old relatiinship that has potential to lead to marriage cus i realised that sge cudnt do up to 10 squats.

When the war reach the peak at that time this guy Whatsapp me suddenly and started saying shit as if he was going to die any moment, like no food, no amunition, and how military guys kill each other, how the top ranking officers sell out their subordinates to terrorist, how they give away the positions of Nigeria Army, how corrupt the Nigerian army is and why there navy and air force had to pull out... Just like that guy said you won't understand, Nigeria military have been seriously compromised by our politicians... Am not saying this for or against any political party because they are all the same.. they don't care about us, we are only tools to achieving their goals and the will manipulate every aspect of this country... Am afarid to say that they will be the downfall of this country if we don't find a way as the youth of this country to cleanse our country both the politicians and the evil high ranking military personnel will not escape the wrath of God. God should send all of them to their graves, they should all die a shameful and painful death that should be the prayer point on everybody mouth that mean well for this country... What other country do we have? We are been rejected in all other countries... Thank God for my Friend he was been transferred to Lagos after much prayer.. With this present state of the nation, Nigeria is not worth dying for.

If you're a university student, by 200 level, you would offer a course with the title " Engineer in the society".

There, you would be told that ABE is the mother of all engineering disciplines.

Alex is donkey. Her mother is at least 5’8 - 5’9. The way she kept saying her mother was short I assumed the woman was 5’2 - 5’4.

My NSE project defense was much more than my undergraduate defense in terms of the grilling. It all depends on the branch and topic sha. What happened was that one of my panelist was a specialist in the project field i did.

For COREN, if you decide to go to COREN without NSE thinking you are taking a short cut, well you may not find it easy.

Most of the COREN top people and those who will interview you are very active members of NSE and will not be happy you took that route. This means you will not have a rosy ride with them. They discourage going to COREN directly and will certainly make a statement with you.

The fewer candidates going to COREN directly means bad as the interview could likely be a lone interview lasting hours. We all know, the less people attending an interview, the more interviewers have time to flex their muscles.

After becoming a member of NSE, all you need do to get COREN certification is to apply to coren filling their form, state your NSE membership no, submit a copy of your project that was used for NSE, and you are on your way of being a registered engineer.
By the way, NSE is just an association, COREN is the main thing, you can also join COREN without being a member of NSE.
There are other engineering group that can give you leverage towards joining COREN.
Or if you are in a hurry, you can apply to coren directly, but remember, almost all core board members were once NSE president one time or the other, so be ready to be grilled, well and this is Nigeria.

What do you see yourself doing in say ten years time? Answering such a question would help you in deciding. If your interest is in oil and gas, you should be looking at civil, EE, ME or chemical engineering. In addition, you should also be looking at geology and physics under the physical sciences. It is important to note that a professional masters degree is highly recommended such as IPS in Uniport.
If your interest is in telecoms, any of the engineering/physical sciences is more than appropriate. Here, you would need to undergo a lot of vendor/vendor non-specific trainings inorder to fit into the environment. Vendors here are Huawei, Alcatel/Nokia, Ericsson, Cisco,Juniper etc. Vendor non-specific are stuffs like Java, Python, and other languages that equip you with the skills for the value added services (VAS) section of the telecoms industry.

I'm studying agriculture. Never discovered my passion until I went into programming. I would have studied software engineering, besides d course no dey Nigeria schools.

back in my secondary school, there was this particular woman in my compound, she always call me engineer engineer but i was in commercial class up till my polytechnic level where i studied business management. i finished my ND so i went for my internship in NNPC, the way i see the engineers over there and the chances of getting job in NNPC as an engineering student is very light. this will make me wanna go for engineering course if i still have the chance.
