Morality doesn’t bring salvation, being a good man or a kind woman with good character does not mean one is saved. How can someone get saved then? First we need to understand the foundation of sin, before we understand the God’s recipe for salvation.

The Bible says, Sin entered into the world by Adam, and thereafter it passed to the entire human race. How is this possible? Now read on!

Following biological laws,a baby can only be conceived when there is fertilization of the female egg by the male sperm. So, When the chromosomes/DNA of a man’s sperm fertilizes the Chromosomes of the woman’s egg, a zygote is formed. That zygote automatically inherits the DNA of the man and the sin nature which was passed from Adam is transferred to the Child Oops! This is why the Bible says in Roman 3:23

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

We all became sinners by birth.

But in the case of Jesus, there was no sperm available! Because Mary was a virgin. This is the first and last time a woman will ever conceive without the sperm of a man.

The word through the power of the Holy Spirit fertilize the ovary of Mary, and the zygote Jesus became.

So the Word became human and made his home among us......John 1:14. (NLT)

This is why He is called “The son of God” the seed came from our sinless God. This sound strange isn’t it. But this is what happened. A virgin became pregnant through the help of the Holy Ghost without any sperm. He is called Emmanuel Meaning God miraculously in human form. This is powerful! Jesus meant the requirements of a sinless being needed to be used for the sacrifice to redeem man. the blood of bulls and goat which was used yearly hitherto was insufficient and could not take away sin. Jesus became the substitute and the sin of the world was laid on Him.

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:21

Jesus died for your sin. If you are reading this, Jesus paid the ultimate price to redeem you from that sin nature. Anyone who is not born again still have that sin nature. It doesn’t matter if you are very moral and upright in the sight of men, the problem is the sin nature from Adam that was passed to you by your father. Lord Jesus! I believe you came to this world to die for my sins and make me right with God. I believe you rose from the dead for my Justification. Today, I accept you as the Lord and savior of my soul. I am a child of God now. Hallelujah!

Very Inspiring.. Read to the end

He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. Matthew 9:37

Growing up as a little boy, I was privileged to visit the village on few occasions. Specifically during the “Babangida must go” saga. We had relocated temporarily to a near by village to take refuge in anticipation of an impending war that could break out. On one of those days we would walk a few miles to catch a glimpse of the farm.
Along the path we walked, I often found plenty of rotten fruits on the ground, some stinking so bad. as I hopped over them, I still remember asking while the fruits were left to rot instead of been harvested early. The answer I got was “It’s in excess, and there are no much laborers to do the harvesting Job. And even if it’s harvested early, there is no storage mechanism as we already have more than enough in our homes”

This is an exact replica of what we see in our streets today. A lot of fruits that were due for harvest have gone rotten. Men and women who should be burning for the Lord are out there in the street, in the clubs engaging in sex trade. Some have resulted to arm-robbery, kidnapping e. t.c hence becoming a nuisance to society. They wouldn’t have been were they are if someone had harvested them. They got ripe for harvest, and we did nothing. So they began to stink.

Don’t fold your arm my beloved brethren, the cure for youth restiveness doesn’t lie in the hand of government alone. More so, these guys are in dire need of salvation. I work with a lot of young people and I know how vulnerable they are. If we don’t harvest them for Christ, the evil men will harvest them for satan. The harvest is so huge and Jesus is calling you to be a co-worker with Him, to liberate people from the hold of satan. Take a child off the street before these terrible guys take them in. our society is getting messier by the day; If you take a child off the street today, you saving his or her soul and bringing sanity to the society at large.

Another harvest season is here, Jesus is calling you to be a co-laborer with Him. Hallelujah!

Prayer

Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send more laborers into the fields( the business world, the corporate world, the entertainment world) to bring salvation to unsaved and deliverance to the captive using you as a point of contact.

There are Christians who have been told by preachers that when you have Jesus, you won't have troubles anymore, no more battle, no more sorrow e. t. c.. That is kindergarten Gospel. You can say that to someone who just got saved and get away with it, but those saying are not exactly true. Jesus told His disciples in John 16:33

"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

The juicy part of this scripture is that Jesus have overcome the world. So there is no challenge that has not been fixed. When the devil trys to attack us, we are expected to put on our armour to resist and enforce our Christ victory on the cross.

Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness

BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS:

The second armour we should be coated in is the breastplate of righteousness. Righteousness means being made right.
It is a free gift of God given to us by Christ. 2 Cor. 5:21.
Sometimes Scripture also refers to righteousness as an act God carries out through us, like “the righteous acts of the saints” (Revelation 19:. These are the fruit we produced.
These acts doesn't give salvation as salvation is strictly by grace through faith in Jesus.

However, in our spiritual battles, both variety of righteousness is needed as our armour. The righteousnes of God is our shield against sin. Refused to be entangled by sin, ensure your heart is guarded using righteousness as an armour. When Satan presses charges again you, let him know you are the righteousness of God. and by the help of the Holy Spirit you shall flourish in the acts of righteousness and bring glory to the name of Jesus.

Prayer
Thank you Jesus for your unspeakable gifts. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and by this I manifest the acts of righteousness. I have victory over sin, Satan and all his activities over my life. in Jesus name. I am more than conqueror. Amen

Valentine's has become a big part of the world's culture today. However a lot of people are totally oblivious of how the celebration came to stay. While some argue that it's a pagan ritual(festival of Lupercalia which included fertility rites and the pairing off of women with men by lottery) which became Christianized in recent times to mark valentine. Others see it as a day dedicated to spread unconditional love and gifting loved ones with presents, some others use it as a day to consumate exotic desires for the opposite sex hereby giving sex in exchange for love and gifts,

it is quite imperative to have a little background on how valentine's day came to be and how it relates to Christian.

Brief History!

The story about the antecedent of Valentine is abit vague. There are many versions to the story.

One of the version says
Saint Valentine served in third-century Rome. Emperor Claudius decided that single men made better soldiers. Therefore, Claudius banned soldiers from being married. But Valentine continued to perform the weddings of young soldiers who were in love, and Claudius had Valentine imprisoned. While imprisoned, Valentine reportedly fell in love with the jailer’s daughter. (Some say he healed the jailer's foster daughter of blindness) and at some point Valentine sent her a card and signed it,

"Love, your Valentine."

Another version is that Valentine defied Claudius by helping Christians escape the torture of the Romans. 

There are indeed a lot of stories out there but none of this links him as a romantic figure. He like most other matyrs were executed fighting for their faith, and manifesting the love of Jesus; Which is Agape, purely unconditional . it's has nothing to do with romance, fornication and adultery!

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

Jesus demonstrated the highest degree of Love by dying on the cross for us. And He encourages us to love people unconditionally also as a prove of our love for Him.
The real valentine is a spreader of the love of Christ, if you are celebrating valentine it should be the love that make you fight for the right of the oppressed too. If you really feel love in your heart reach out to those who are not born again, they have no hope for eternity! Reachout to the poor and vulnerable. Spread the Love of Jesus Christ, send out gifts without expecting anything in return. Anything different from this is self deception.

Let the Agape love for people grow our heart daily. Love covers multitude of sin! Love the people around you, love your spouse, love your family, love your country!

Some people will come with thier laws from the Bible that a Christian should not celebrate Val. If you are one of the above please don't celebrate Christmas too.

To me personally, Val is not something one should be conscience about. You can create your own Val day, the fact every body is doing some thing at a particular time doesn't mean you must fit in.

Val is love but the reason why most people or Christian castigate it, is because the evil people commit on that day. The use sexual immorality to seal it and that is why most pastors would caution thier church member not to celebrate it because they might be tempted to commit sin.

I don't fancy Val or whatever, if am dating a girl, I will do my Val any day, if am married I will do like wise.

So in essence Val is not bad to celebrate as Christians in as much you celebrate to the glory of God. You can attend a youth meetings/ Christian love feast and so on to learn new things in God.

Spiritual battle is a reality especially in this part of the world but for the believer however, it is a fight to establish the victory bought for us by Christ Jesus. Jesus defeated Satan in hell(hades), spoiled principalities and powers, collected their arms and authority (colossians 2:15). Guess what? He bought the victory for you.

In the life of the believer, the devil doesn't have authority. What he exercises now is illegal. What he has now are mere wiles; trick, threats, manipulations and intimidation. He try to ensnare us into temptation in order to get a hold on us. This is why we must guide our heart and mind with all diligence, because it is a great channel where Satan demonstrate his skills. Most times he does this also through his human agents. Sometimes we might be tempted to think that some people are devils. No! They are only agents. In this battle, you don't go after the agent because we wrestle not against flesh and blood, we deal with the enemy which is the Devil.

Apostle Paul advised us in Eph. 6:10, to put on the whole armour of God in order to be able to resist and enforce our victory over the devil. The devil still attacks God's people today, but we are reminded to always be armed. The armour of God is not just prayer, it entails a lot more

Christians need to understand their authority in Christ, knowing that the devil has been defeated! We need to learn how to put on the whole armour of God as listed in Ephesians 6:10-18.

We have got the victory over Satan by the blood of Jesus, Let's continue to enforce it by the words of our testimonies been armed with the whole armour of God.

We will discuss about the various armour of God tomorrow.

20 My son, pay attention to my words and be willing to learn;
Open your ears to my sayings.

21 Do not let them escape from your sight;
Keep them in the center of your heart.

And healing and health to all their flesh

Have you ever received a prescription from a doctor? Those prescriptions or medicines always come with instructions on the number of doses you need to take for optimal result. you are always advised to follow the prescription strictly.

The word of God is God's prescription for our success In life (Joshua 1: and our flourishing In health. In proverbs 4:20-22. The Bible gives us four steps to get the word to produce result.

Step one, PAY ATTENTION to the word. It's means to give undivided commitment to studying the word. You can't be studying the word and be watching the news or a soap on TV, you shouldn't rush it through also.

Step two, it says "OPEN YOUR EARS". It means to listen carefully with your ear. When we listen to God, we are closing our ears to everything else. It doesn't matter what the world is saying, we are to listen to His word and refuse to listen to the contrary.

Step three, DO NOT LET THEM ESCAPE from your sight. It mean dont lose your focus on the rhema word. In photography, when you put an object in focus, everything else stay blurred. Focus on the word, and not the situation, not the doctor's report. Look to Jesus and live. Hallelujah!

Step four, KEEP THEM AT THE CENTRE of your heart. It not the amount of food that we eat that gives us energy, its the ones that is absorbed into our body. Same way, it is the word that we meditate on and absorb into our spirit that produces result in our lives.

Change is coming your today, activate your divine health that Jesus got for you on the cross. The word is life and medicine to your body. When you say by His stripes am healed, and you keep meditating on it, you are applying medicine to your body.

Proverbs 4:23(NIV)
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

In biological terms, the heart is the organ that sustains the body. It pumps blood around the body. When it stops working, blood circulation stops and thats the end. While? leviticus 17:11, "the life of the flesh is in the blood"!

In our previous devotion we spoke biblically of the heart as been used interchangeably as the soul which governs our feelings and emotions.

The information that dominates our heart controls our lives. Think of the heart as your subconscious mind. The information we meditate on long enough finds its way into your subconscious mind and on the long run becomes part of you(instinct).

"For as a man thinketh in his heart, so he is.. " prov 23:7

As you can see, there are no casual thoughts. Our thoughts breeds our emotions and our emotions begats our decision.

As Christians we must begin to take advantage of the power of the mind,, and translate it to our desired life experiences. We must be mindful of what we see, read and hear everyday. There are emotions such as fear, envy, jealousy,low self esteem, lust of the eyes; they all begin with a thoughts and have consequences. People don't just commit suicide, or murder people.It's begins with a thought. If I can access your thought pattern I can predict your behaviour.

Brethren, Guide your heart, guide your mind, guide your thoughts. Be in control of your life. The devil doesn't have power over our lifestyle or actions. It is our refusal to create a healthy thought pattern and program our mind with the word of God. Romans 12:2

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8

Prayer
Lord Jesus, help me to submit to the Holy spirit, and say No to my fleshly desire. Help me so I can use your word to recreate my world. Amen

Isaiah 26:3
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!

The word peace means

freedom from disturbance, a state of tranquility, wholeness and rest.

In reality it is hard to find peace in the country we live, everything in our environment seem to be designed to choke us, government policies, Insecurity, sounds from generator, corona virus e. t. c

John 16:33

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Jesus is the Prince of peace (Isaiah 9:6. His presence calms every storm. (mark 4:39). He promised to give us peace. (John 14:27)

How do we enjoy the Peace that Jesus gives? By staying focused on Jesus. As long as we keep looking at the circumstances, anxiety sets in. But when we focus on what His word says about the circumstances we find peace.

He lives In you, we have to learn to be conscious about that. Nothing can go wrong as long as He is with you in your boat. When we learn to trust Him, we are activating peace within.

When we consider what if this "corona virus" is really deadly? Fear sets in. But faith says all power belong to Jesus! There is no fear in faith!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus, flood your mind with His word, avoid the pollution in the social media space, it can choke you. Negative words breeds fears and negative emotions. But when we look up to Jesus, setting our gaze on Him 24/7, we enjoy His tangible presence. That way, irrespective of what goes wrong around you, you are not moved. Because the Prince of Peace is right there with you. This is how I leave my life now, I used to be so worried but not anymore. What I cant change don't bother me. I am secured right in His arms. Hallelujah.

Prayer

Thank you Jesus for the peace that give, Help me to stay focus in your word. Help me to stay Connected in your presence. I rebuke every spirit of fear. I chose to believe your report. Hallelujah

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Long before we had climate change, we've alway had season-change. Everything in creation obeys the precedence of time and seasons. . Time is changing so fast, and new Inventions keeps coming onboard; there are things that sent us into frenzy yesteryears but now looks old fashion. This leads me to the conclusion "Every situation changes except change itself"!

Our understanding of this truths will give us great relief during trial times. It doesn't last because it's just a season. Even crops, weather have their season of manifestation. What does this tell us? Seasons are temporary!

You may be going through a bad financial time, but there is Coming season also where you will have more than enough to give. Praise God! I admit it may be a hard time for you at the moment but good times are coming your way. Maybe it's your business or relationship, nobody is asking your hand in marriage. It's just a season! heavy traffic of suitors are coming pretty soon. Everything has seasons. This is why I laugh when they say "the covid 19" experience is the new normal! trust the word of the Lord, this too has passed already. Can you say Amen!

What are we supposed to do when it isn't time for harvest yet? We sow our seeds! Off season time isn't the time to lament, cry or fold our hand, it a time to strategize to a part of harvest!

As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter,. ." Genesis 8:22

Start preparing yourself for your good season, because it's coming already. Someone is coming your way to make a big investment in your life! Prepare yourself now, don't waste the opportunity coming your way, keep sowing your seeds, keep investing in yourself.

I decree and declare, your new season and time for bountiful harvest is here. Today is the beginning of the best days of your life in the the name of Jesus. Amen!

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9

In this passage, Apostle Peter uses same language that had been used to describe God's special relationship with Israel; "a chosen race". As Israel was in the sight of God, we believers are also a chosen race. Unlike Israel, we are not a race in the sense of our ethnicity, skin color, or country of origin. We are a spiritual race, in the sense that, in Christ, we all share same Fatherhood and the same Zoe- DNA..Hallelujah!

Unlike Israel who was always represented by the High priest to make sacrifices yearly for the people for the forgiveness of their sins, Jesus paid a one-time for all-time sacrifice to redeem and purchase us as a people unto God. 1 Cor. 6:20.

Rev 1:6
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

If you are born again, you are a king, a priest, consecrated and holy before God. Holiness is not an Award for righteous living, it is means "to be chosen and set apart"

Hebrews 10:10 (NIV)
And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

As Christians, we must start carrying ourselves with dignity. We are a glorious people on earth cherished by God! We are God's masterpiece, His artwork (Eph 2:10) recreated to showcase God's goodness and perfections. We live to declare His praise and His mercy. Jesus didn't come to this world to start a new religion, He came to give us eternal life, the greek rendering calls it "Zoe" which means the principle and fullness of life belonging to God. This life is different from the human life, it is the life that Christ had; the God kind of life. Hallelujah

There are three Greek word which is translated "life" in the English bible, and these words have different meaning. The first is "Bios" from where we get the world "biology" and it refer to the life of the physical body. Luke 8:14.

The second is "psuche" meaning breath of Life, it is the vital force that animates the human body. Also means "the soul", As used in matthew 16:25

But the life that Jesus brought is neither of these. He didn't come to improve our human life, He came to give us a new type of life; the God-life "Zoe"! This new life makes you a new creation, a new species, a different kjnd of man. We may look like everyone else but in reality we are different. The problem is we have refused to accept this truth because it's just too big to fathom with the human mind! But we have this treasures in earthen vessels. Hallelujah(2 corinthians 4:7)

Jesus didn't come just to redeem us or to improve and refine our human life to make it better, No! He came to give us the divine life. A life free from sickness! you see our human life may contact disease but not the Zoe life. This is why the Apostle Paul in 1 Tim 6:12 said. "LAY HOLD ON ETERNAL LIFE". Live your life through your Zoe life, you will need to grab it by faith. keep saying and meditating on the word until it is absorbed by your subconscious mind. Hallelujah!

Prayer

Dear Jesus, thank you for your Zoe-life you have Impacted into my Spirit, from today I will lay hold on it by faith, speak it, meditate on it and be transformed by it. Amen!

Hebrew 10:25

Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Firstly, let's look into some misconception before we dive into the subject of our devotion today!

The Church is not a building, neither is it a place to socialise, it is not an organisation registered with the government. It is a 'living body' comprising of those who have been saved and sanctified by Christ.
The term Church was translated from the Greek "ekklesia", a compound of two segments: "ek", a preposition meaning"out of", and a verb, "kaleo", signifying "to call" - together, literally, "The called out ones" in order words; to remove from the world. We may be in the world, but we are not of this world. (John 17:16).

In our Anchor scripture today, the Apostle Paul admonishes believers to fellowship with one another. This fellowship could be in a church building, or a fellowship in your school or work place., or a meeting of two or three believers (Matthew 18:20) and in modern times, it could also be online because distance is not a barrier!

Some of the reasons while we must remain in fellowship is.

To study and hear God's word in order to increase in knowledge and grow in faith.
To worship God along with other believers and take communion.
Followsbip with other believers is a source encourage and strength and We can rekindle our fire and commitment to God by been in contact with other believers,
Its also an opportunity to serve God and minister to others using our God given gifts and talents.

From this hour, make up your mind to be bonded together in love with other believers. We are one in one body irrespective of our various denominations and diverse doctrines.

Prayer.
Heaven father, Grant me the grace to be closer to word, the grace to love spiritual things and be bonded with other believers. Grant me the desire to hunger and thirst after righteousness. Amen!

For many are called, but few are chosen.”

I would love to give a little background on the previous Verses sequel to our anchor scripture today for us to have a proper understanding.

Jesus liken the Kingdom of Heaven to a wedding where invitations were dispatched to a certain group of people (Jews) who turned it down and refused to honour the invitation. Then the king instructed His servants to go to the streets and invite anyone they could find. On the day of the wedding the hall was filled with guests but also notice something odd! There was someone without a wedding garment unlike the rest. The king asked why he didn't have a garment on, but he was speechless! then the king asked that he be thrown in darkness were there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then he said "many are called, but few are chosen"

The King in this text is God Amighty who sent wedding invitations all the people of the world to participate in the banquet with His Son, Jesus the lamb of God! It is an invitation to salvation. As we can read, a number of people responded but many didn't. Even among those who responded, there will be some with garments; these are those who receive the gospel for receiving sake, but their heart is far away. They believe in Jesus in their heart but publicly deny Him. They love "Christmas" and indeed make the best preparation for it but they don't have a personal relationship with Him. they only accepted just to be counted among the numbers! Oh what a tragedy.

These are the last days. What's your preparation like? Jesus is returning soon or perhaps you believe the world can't end now, but remember it's appointed unto man to die once, and after that it's judgement.
Don''t be carried away by the world system, science, technology, stupid logic, and the beauty of this life thereby becoming oblivious of eternity, Don't be among the called but not chosen, don be a guest without garment. Jesus loves you so much and he is inviting to receive His life and the salvation that He gives. He is the only way, don't be deceive. Jesus is calling you.

Prayer.

Dear Jesus, I receive your invitation today, I accept you as the Lord of my life. I believe that you died to save me from sin, thank you for saving me. I Am born again.

Wow! let's celebrate Jesus.

Our God is a God of Mercy, grace and compassion. He doesn't leave His children stranded. He shows up at every given time when we call upon Him! Sometimes there may seem to be delay, But He perfects His work at His own time!

Today's devotion is a very prophetic one, it is for someone that has been soaked in tears for several nights, there is a turn around coming your way today, an Instant restoration that will cause people to say this can only be God. It is hapennung now. Give the Lord praise!

No matter the situation you have been through, one thing is sure!?
Every situation has a night-time and a morning experience!

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning – Psalm 30:5

It doesn't. matter how long it may have lingered, the Bible says in proverbs 23:18;
 
For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.

You may prayed, fasted, even sown Seeds but the Situation remained unchanged. It could be a crisis in marriage, a health condition, setback in relationships e.t.c God is turning it around today! Whatever spiritual affliction, Joblessness, stagnation e.t.c it has come to a joyful ending. The chains are broken off your neck in the name of Jesus. Jesus already gave you victory on the cross; and when He said "It is finished" He was talking about you because He took your place on the cross. Rise up this morning and give Him praise for all He has done, arise in faith, open your heart in thanksgiving. Rejoice with a dance for He has done great things. Bless His Holy name.

Phillipians 4:6

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God

lets begin fby looking into the word "Anxious" in the dictionary. It means

a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease about something with an uncertain outcome.

Succinctly put, It is a state of unrest arising from a pessimistic perspective about the unknown, it could also arise when we want a desired future occurence to happen quicker than expected.
These uncertainties creates urgent impulses in us and dominates our mind and consciousness thereby robbing us of our daily joy and peace.

On a daily, we all have different desires that keeps us worked up. Be it basic necessities like food, shelter, our job demands or unfulfilled dream. while we work and pray towards putting these things right, we are encouraged by God's word to get the pressure off our mind by having total dependence on God.
Our worries doesn't change a thing, it makes it worse! it crushes our mind and spirit and steal our focus.
Anxiety also poses danger to our bodies and health and Could lead to heart problems, stroke, weight loss e. t. c

We can stay free from anxiety by our our total dependency on Jesus. He is saying to you today from Matt 11:28:

 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Jesus says in Matt 6:25“

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 
(Read down to Verse 28)


Learn to cast your cares on Him daily (1 Peter 5:7), do your best to free yourself from daily loads and gabages of the mind, put your trust in God in everything. Commit it to God in prayers and with certainty that He has answered your prayers. There is no fear in faith, get to know His word and His promises for you. Keep calm because all things are working together for your good. Hallelujah!

1 Timothy 4:8
For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

Keeping a healthy body requires a number of factors. while dieticians places alot of premium on good nutrition, it is worthy to note that a proportion of exercise plays a role to balance the equation.

Just as nutrition and exercise is relevant to keeping a healthy body, every believer require a much higher dose of spiritual nourishment/activies to stay vitalise in our daily work with God.

Apostle Paul advised Timothy on the profitability of going to the gym to work it out, he placed more relevance on exercising spiritually: because it has more returns on investment here on earth and when we get to heaven.

While physical exercise builds our bodies, Godly exercise give life to our spirit, soul and body. This is so because a healthy soul or spirit means a healthy body. (proverbs 14:30)

let's look into the various way we can exercise unto godliness:

Firstly, we have got to cultivate the Habit of prayer and fasting. A prayerful Christian is a powerful christian. (James 5:16), prayers increases our God-conciousness, it increases our faith and strength in God, (Jude 1:20), prayer affirms our obedience to God,
it brings solutions to questions(Jer. 33:3)

Secondly, we need to be voracious about studying and meditating God's word because it's our nutrition. (peter 2:2) , it builds our faith? (Romans 10:17), it is our weapon (Eph 6:17).
It won't cost a thing to memorise and meditate on certain scriptures that relates to specific issues in life. So when challenges comes in that regard, you cut it to size like a piece of cake. Hallelujah.

Godly exercise also includes praise and worship, singing in psalms and making melodies in your heart(Eph 5:18).

When we cultivate the fruits of the Spirit in our lives e.g love, joy, self control, patience e.t.c, we are exercising our selves unto godliness. Hallelujah.

Prayer:

Receive the grace to be fervent in the Spirit, May the Hunger for spiritual things increase in your life leading you to success in life and ministry. Amen

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

At every stage in our life, we find ourselves on a Cross Road, having to make very crucial decisions. Many times we evaluate the challenge in our mind hoping to find the most logical idea, other times we trust our instint or a similar experience by someone else to lead us.

The Bible gives us the most credible source for counsel. We are instructed not to trust in our own judgements and strength but inquire from the Lord and acknowledge Him in all that we do.

The question is how do we acknowledge God? We will have to look up the meaning of the word "Acknowledge" in the dictionary:

It means: To admit as true, or to declare the existence or truth or reality of.

This mean we have to first admit that God is supreme and He houses the solutions to all our questions, secondly, we have to make reference to what His word says about the subject in question.
As we meditation on His word concerning the idea, we get wisdom and understanding. Meditation doesn't just mean reading a scripture, No! It means spending time to think the word until you find an answer. You could get books and materials that talks about the subject matter as well, but you will have to brood over it, as you do prayerfully the Holy Spirit will begin to make contacts with your spirit. Hallelujah!

Job 32:8
But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

You can never go wrong with God! Alot of Christians seek advice in the wrong places. All the solutions you need are wraped in the word. your job is to locate your spoken word which is your Rhema. Hallelujah.

Today is your day of light, May the light of God's wisdom shine on you to give you direction and inspiration in every area of your life. You will not go stranded in Jesus name!

Genesis 1:28

God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it..."

The word blessed there is from a Hebrew word" barak" which means an empowerment, supernatural favour. It means to be empowered to succeed in whatever situation regardless of natural circumstances or limitations.

Isaiah 32:15
Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fertile field, And the fertile field is valued as a forest.

This is what happens when the Holy Spirit comes upon a man; his wilderness becomes a fruitful land. It doesn't matter the circumstances, geographical location of the place you are in , the blessing of God upon your life will cause it to be fruitful for you. Hallelujah!

Read about the man Isaac, in the midst of so much famine, the Bible says in Gen 26: 12,13,14..he grew so great and move forward, having so much abundance and that caused the Philistines to envy him.

This is what the blessings does, and every believer have access to this blessing. God has blessed us(Ephesians 1:3) and His divine power has give us all thing (2 Peter 1:3).You have been empowered to succeed against all odds. Every curse have been deactivates in the name of Jesus. Begin to tap into your God given potential. Arise, Don't sleep anymore, go forth in faith and possess your possession.Amen

Yesterday, we talked about what man is made of. We discussed man as a spirit being, possessing a soul and encased in a body.

God relates and accesses us through our spirit.

Prov 20:27
The human spirit is the lamp of the LORD that sheds light on one's inmost being.

Today we will be dwelling on the soul as pertaining to our relationship with God. (Heb 4:12)

The soul of a man entails the mind, will and emotions.

When a man gets saved this part of a man begins a process of conversion. We are supposed to feed our mind with the word of God with the intent to align our own will with God's will. (Psalm 19:7)

Our mind is where thinking occurs, and it houses our information and perception. Unfortunately it does not get recreated(changed) along with our spirit. So, the previous perception and behavioural patterns remains, but this is a wrong way to continue living our life. We have got to REPENT!

Alot of people think when we repent e.g quit smoking or fornication, it means we are born again. It is not true! Repentance alone will not get you saved. Salvation comes by acknowledging the finished work of Jesus on the Cross for us. (Romans 10,9,10) Thereafter, to live a successful Christian life, a Christian would need to repent and change their mindset.

Romans 12:1-2

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. ."

Wow! Did you see that? You see why studying God's word is so important? In God's Agenda, Aknowledging His blood brings you salvation, and fellowship with His word brings you transformation. The word to a Christian is like oxygen to human beings. You cannot flourish in your Christian walk without God's word. Get back to His word ASAP.. lol. His word will bring you faith, nourishment. (1 Peter 2:2)
(Psalm 19:7).

Prayer
I pray for you today, that the Spirit of the Lord will help you and stir your hunger for Jesus, that you may understand His Love and be Impacted with passion to live for Him. Hallelujah
